Don't think it's too harsh for members of the Guard Squad to hand over seventy percent of their spoils of war. You must know that when there isn't any battle, their livelihood is entirely dependent on supplies issued by the Noble Clan families.

After receiving their orders, the Guard Squad left, and just as they returned to the deck, they heard news from the Watchtower that a large ship was approaching their direction.

Because they had just suffered an attack from members of the New Faction, the Guard Squad Captain immediately arranged for the other servants on board to come to the deck and help the women to quickly clear the corpses.

At this point, they didn't need to entirely clean the deck, but they had to push all the corpses into the water to clear the battlefield.

The reason why the Guard Squad Captain still chose to have the battlefield on their own ship's deck was that he knew they weren't likely to clash with other ships at this time. If their family head managed to keep this area under control without any chaos, then the head wouldn't need to be concerned with more.

Perhaps it was the blood flowing down from the deck that had already stained the nearby surface of the water red, so Dong Tianyu noticed the abnormality here from afar.

Water conducts electricity very well, and in hardly more than five seconds, those creatures surrounding Wave Rider were overturned by the electric currents emitted from the ship.

Seeing that the sea creatures surrounding Wave Rider had been dealt with, Dong Tianyu was ready to continue steering Wave Rider forward, but suddenly, the ship fiercely shot out of the water and was flung into the air.

Originally, when they noticed that Wave Rider was sailing towards them, they were fully alert, not knowing the intentions of the other party, and kept a vigilant watch as the ship drew ever closer.

Just as they were preparing to use flag signals to communicate and ask about the other party's intentions for approaching, they never expected that the ship would suddenly soar into the sky.

Of course, not everyone's attention remained on that ship. Some turned their gaze to the surface of the water when Wave Rider took to the sky, but unfortunately, when they looked towards the water, they only saw a dark shadow sinking into it.

What everyone didn't know was that when the Basin Chicken cleared the deck and pushed the corpses into the water, the attraction was not limited to the creatures living in the upper levels of the sea.

As the pieces of corpses sank into the water, much like a fisherman baiting a fishing spot, it attracted sea creatures from all layers of the water.

This place wasn't far from the Forbidden Zone near Nagasaki. Normally, a handful of corpses wouldn't attract the creatures living in the Forbidden Zone.

But who could have anticipated that this time, the New Faction members would arrange so many people to mount an assault, resulting in such a vast number of corpses after the battle.

If it were just this, the underwater creature from the Forbidden Zone, even if attracted by the bait, wouldn't have attacked Wave Rider.

After all, compared to the corpses that had sunk into the water, the ships on the surface were not within its proactive attack range.

Only, Dong Tianyu happened to be in bad luck. That creature was passing under Wave Rider at the exact moment when it was being attacked by sea creatures.
