It was finally time for my long awaited fated reunion with my sweet darling of a girlfriend as I made my way from the cafeteria with a bag of delicious Thai food. The entire day I had been walking around semi-unfocused thanks to her running around my mind. Of course I was still paying attention to the military business but it wasn't a moment too soon that I would be seeing her again.

As I opened the door to the cabin I immediately saw her sitting by the table with electronic candles flickering away. A switch just flipped in my head as I almost slammed the door closed behind me, but I couldn't as it was automated. When it was closed and locked behind me, I walked up to her, put the bag of food down on the table and just started kissing her passionately. The load on my heart just melted away, my longing finally getting satisfied, at least partially.

I almost lifted her off her chair to take her to bed but Luna halted me before I could do so. "I'm happy to see you as well, but we really should eat the food first."

"Food can be heated up. We have a good microwave. I'll be a lot hungrier by the time I'm done with you." I replied and tossed my beret aside, already unbuttoning my uniform jacket as well. "I want to burn a lot of calories with you, right now."

Luna's cheeks flushed bright red, just like they had done this morning. That's what I liked to see. "Lauren…"

I sat down on my knees next to her and unzipped the skirt she was wearing. Kissing her belly while I was doing so. "C'mon. I really really NEED you right now." I looked up to her with pleading eyes. "Please."

Luna looked at me, bit her lip and then looked away as I saw her ears get a bit redder too. "H-how can I possibly say no to that?"

I paused with her skirt for a moment and kissed her softly on her belly once more. "I want an explicit yes, or I am not continuing. I want you to want it as much as I do."

Luna looked back at me, she was biting down on her lip hard now. "Of course. Yes. Please, please do. I want you too. So bad."

"That's all I wanted to hear." I slowly lowered her skirt and then pushed Luna flat down on the bed so she could enjoy the ride while I indulged myself.

It would have been really really awkward if an emergency happened while I was taking her to the edge, but luckily my luck wasn't that bad. And we didn't get interrupted either while Luna was panting and I readied up for round two, and round three, and round four afterwards. In the end we both went over the end together as I lay down on my back with Luna drooling on my right boob, both of us breathing heavily.

"Holy shit." I said, exasperated. "That was intense…"

"I don't know if I have the energy to walk to the table, let alone shower…" Luna idly played with my nipple as she replied. "And I don't think my legs can support me yet either. Why is the human body so weird…" She then giggled in an afterwave of ecstasy.

I gave her a kiss on the top of her head. "Well… who knows…" I chuckled. "Maybe we shouldn't let ourselves be separated for this long the next time… I think that just made it worse."

Luna looked up to me with a cheeky smile. "Worse or better?"

I rolled my eyes and smiled back. "Better, of course. But my mind won't be able to hold out like this again."

Luna's cheek disappeared as she nodded. "I know what you mean. I'm addicted to you."

"Likewise. At least it's a good addiction."

"Mhmm." She nodded once more and then looked at my boob again before she suddenly chomped it.

I started laughing. "I should carry you to the shower so we can eat some food after. It looks like you are confusing my body parts with dinner and I only have like half of them left." I poked her on the forehead with my bionic arm.

"It happens, don't worry about it." I chuckled.

We miraculously managed to walk again, towards the shower and then getting cleaned before sitting down for a nice reheated meal, although after our little spat, I was sure it would taste even better, and I was right. That food was so delicious I almost walked out to get some more, but my legs did not really like that idea.

"Come, let's just rest on the bed." Luna pulled on my arm. "I want to cuddle with you. We can always have more Thai food later if we really want to. And I bet I could even convince Ellie to have one of her little maintenance bots drive some over for us."

"Good point." I let myself be dragged to the bed where we both faceplanted into the mattress.

We crawled up to our pillows, threw off the little clothes we had left on and then started spooning with each other.

"Mhmmmm. Comfy." Luna purred.

"I missed this so much." I admitted. "Even more than the sex if I have to be honest. Nothing beats a good cuddle."

"I have to agree with that." Luna replied happily. "Though the sexy times aren't too bad."

"Clearly." I looked at Luna's bra which had somehow ended up on the other side of the room.

"Want to see something cool, by the way?" Luna asked as she slightly tilted her head up.

"Cool? I'm intrigued. Show me." I smiled.

Luna took her holo stick and showed me the holographic image of a target. "Here."

"A shooting target from the shooting range?"

Luna nodded. "Yep. It's the target I was shooting on."

"Wait, for real?" I looked at the target more intently now, the grouping was really good. "You did this? When did you go to the shooting range?"

"While I was waiting for your shift to finish. I couldn't spend the entire day sleeping after all."

"Woah. And what did you shoot with? Looks like a lot of shots? Automatic?"

"With the gun you normally use."

"P900-R?"

Luna nodded.

"Did you like it? What range did you shoot it from?"

"I like it quite a lot actually, I think Gunny said he set it at about 50 meters."

"So Gunny was there too, huh."

Luna nodded again. "He helped me, he was pretty enthused that I asked to go to the gun range."

"Well, I would be too." I chuckled. "For 50 meters this is pretty good. Especially since you've never shot one before. I'm so proud I kind of want to print it out and hang it on the fridge, but that might be slightly weird, wouldn't it?"

"Only a little bit, yes." Luna giggled. "But I wouldn't mind going to the range again with you, if you'd like."

"Of course!" I replied energetically. "If you want to, we can go after shift tomorrow? Make it a little date for us. Would you like that?"

"I would be glad to join you on that date." Luna giggled and put away her holo stick again. "We are such weirdos, going on a date like that."

"A date is where you both do something you like with people you love, I don't see how it's weird." I kissed Luna on the top of her head. "And I can guarantee you that this will not be the first time people went on a shooting range date."

"That's probably true as well, humans are weird like that."

"Hey, it's you who agreed to go on a date with me, that makes you at least just as weird."

"I think I'm a bit of an outlier though, you haven't really met any of my compatriots. I might as well be half human for what they are concerned."

"Very beautiful half human though. And your other half is exquisite as well."

"Hehe." Luna giggled. "Charmer."

"I know I am." I smiled and gave her one final kiss. "We should probably sleep a little, still a shift that needs shifted tomorrow. Night night, babe."

"Good night, Lauren." Luna hummed happily.

We fell asleep swiftly in each other's company, a lot easier than it had been the last couple of days to say the very least. Not any time too soon as we'd be needing our sleep as we had slowly managed to get rather close to our target, P3X-989. The day after our reunion, during our first shift together, Ellie provided us with a clear image of the planet through our telescopes. A lush planet, very much like the first Gaia planet we had come from, and according to Ellie, there were clear signs of civilization on the planet's surface. Exciting prospects with a potential of newly forged alliances but we would definitely need to be on top of our game.
