Lei's eyes shot open. Groaning, he pushed himself up off from the dirt ground and blinked at his surroundings.

"Ughhh. What just…" His words trailed off as the surroundings came into picture.

Towering cherry blossoms swayed gently above him, their pink petals falling like snow. The sharp scent of grass and soil filled his nose. He wasn't in his apartment anymore. In the distance, he could see a sprawling city with traditional Japanese rooftops. Interestingly, despite its size, the city seemed very rural.

"What the actual…?" For the second time that day, he was at a loss for words.

"Okay, Lei," speaking out loud to himself always helped him think and calm down, both things he needed in ample amounts right now. "Think. The last thing I remember is pressing the button to play the Bleach game. This means that in between that time and now, someone broke into my apartment, kidnapped me, and dropped me off in some random place." He started pacing.

Lei examined himself. Gone were his jeans and hoodie, instead replaced what he would best describe as a cloth bag with holes in it for the limbs and head. Most importantly, however, was that there were no injuries.

"No injuries, so they don't seem to want to kill me…" he shuddered while contemplating this, a sense of fear gripping him even just thinking about it. "But why then? I'm just a regular citizen. Even for random identity theft or the like, surely there would have been a better choice somewhere in the prison system-"

A blue screen suddenly popped up before him at the last word. In shock, he tripped backwards onto his butt while staring.

"No. Actual. Way."

Before he could continue the train of thought and process his emotions, a final panel in bold scarlet text popped up. It doesn't make sense, but Lei could swear he could smell the blood coming off the words.
