Chapter 67 - His Majesty the Imperial Highness

In the top three of the Youth Rankings in the War Realm, aside from the male lead, the other two were variables that hadn’t appeared in the novel.

The fourth-ranked player had the ID “Planet King.” Ruo Manni recalled that this player seemed to have appeared in the novel and was often within the top ten.

Now, she suspected that Planet King was Dean Atchison. After all, based on strength, Dean was only slightly weaker than Hua Deli, so his rank shouldn’t be too far off.

Moreover, given that this kid’s username was “Neptune,” it made sense he would choose a name like Planet King, reflecting his fondness for planets.

The fifth player on the rankings was “I Am the Senior,” sixth was “Fire God Shield,” seventh was “World Swordsman,” and the eighth player’s ID was “Senior’s Teammate.” Ruo Mannie felt she vaguely remembered these IDs from the novel, though she wasn’t entirely sure.

As for Mina-Olli, her character, Xianxian Yufei, was now in ninth place, several ranks lower than in the novel.

Ruo Manni rubbed her chin. In the novel, after Hua Deli and Mina-Olli enrolled in Xuan Gu First Military Academy, they hadn’t participated in any special training before school started. Instead, they spent the entire holiday playing in the War Realm, leveling up to Level 10 before classes began.

In reality, Hua Feitian and Xianxian Yufei had very little time to access the War Realm due to the special training arranged by the Crown Prince, so their performance there was understandably not as good as in the novel.

However, the sudden emergence of this Imperial Prince, with such a pointed ID name, led Ruo Manni to suspect that this player was likely the Second Prince, who alone could suppress Hua Deli in the youth group.

If the Imperial Prince were indeed the Second Prince, then Hua Deli would have a hard time reclaiming the top spot. If not, once their special training was over, Hua Deli would likely have a great chance to regain the number one position.

After pondering the rankings for a while, Ruo Manni decided not to waste any more time guessing about them. She was already among these elites and would find out sooner or later. So, she closed the panel and prepared to complete her leveling tasks.

Given the current situation with special training, unless something like tonight’s scenario occurred, she likely wouldn’t have the energy to enter the War Realm for a while.

To avoid dropping too many levels, Ruo Manni planned to focus solely on leveling tasks whenever she could access the War Realm, putting everything else aside for now.

It seemed that after a night of gaming in the War Realm, the young companions were all in high spirits, each full of energy early in the morning.

However, after gathering that morning, Instructor Dudley didn’t take them to run laps right away. Instead, he led them to the testing room.

“I want to see if there have been any changes in your data after all this training,” Instructor Dudley said sternly.

The new students also wore serious expressions, as this was equivalent to the instructor assessing their training results. If the results were good, they would be fine; if not, given Instructor Dudley’s stern demeanor, some of them were bound to face consequences.

At times like this, even the most unruly students knew to play along to avoid drawing attention. One by one, they obeyed Instructor Dudley’s arrangements and entered for testing, waiting quietly after they came out.

This time, it wasn’t Instructor Dudley himself conducting the tests, but a stranger—a military officer they hadn’t seen in the past few days and didn’t know where he had come from. This was the second officer they encountered since arriving at the training base. He appeared to be in his forties, had a refined look, and was only a Level 4 late-stage warrior, clearly a civilian.

Ruo Manni sensed that there were indeed more people at the base besides the new students, but since they hadn’t appeared, she chose to remain unaware of it.

After all ten new students finished their tests, Instructor Dudley emerged from the testing room and checked the results on his device. The students carefully observed his expression, but apart from his usual stern demeanor, they couldn’t discern anything else.

As Instructor Dudley raised his head, the new students instinctively straightened up, appearing poised for evaluation, while their hearts were filled with anxiety.

“Mina-Olli, Ruo Manni,” Instructor Dudley called out.

“Here,” the two girls replied in unison as they stepped forward.

“Both of you have reached a bottleneck in your warrior levels. Starting today, you will switch from meditation training to physical training. Push hard to break through in the next few days,” Instructor Dudley ordered.

“Yes, Instructor,” Ruo Manni and Mina-Olli replied sharply.

“The rest of you are doing well, especially Hua Deli, Dean Atchison, Gao Haitao, and Su forty-three, who have been particularly diligent, so their data has improved the most,” Instructor Dudley continued to praise.

The four boys who were mentioned showed some delight in their eyes.

“As for the others, you’ve made significant progress too, but your peers are at a higher level and are working even harder. Do you want to fall further behind them?” Instructor Dudley asked.

The four students who weren’t mentioned looked disheartened, but Instructor Dudley’s words left them stunned.

“Wanting to catch up isn’t enough; it requires double the effort. Can you do it? Do you want to? Do you want to stand on the same level as your peers?” Instructor Dudley continued to press them.

His probing questions left no room for answers, and after finishing, he sent them off to train.

Starting from that day, the training tasks for the new students changed significantly; they no longer completed similar tasks as before.

Now, each student focused on different aspects of their training, enhancing their weak points. Clearly, this training was tailored to each individual based on their data and performance.

However, the ultimate goal remained the same, if not more intense: to drain every last bit of their physical strength in order to unlock their potential.

As a result, after each day’s training, they ignored their appearances and even the dirt on the ground, collapsing onto it until they regained some energy before helping each other back.

Ruo Manni, not having experienced such systematic extreme training, was supported back by Dean Atchison each night, as Mina-Olli was no better off, but she had her fiancé to assist her. Thankfully, Dean Atchison still maintained his gentlemanly demeanor.

Perhaps because Ruo Manni and Mina-Olli had lower warrior levels, both girls made remarkable progress after focusing on physical training.

Especially Ruo Manni, who had never undergone such training before; her data growth was nearly double that of others. By the third day after Instructor Dudley said she could break through, she had advanced to an early-level fourth-tier warrior.

This gave her other peers a sense of urgency. After all, Ruo Manni was already an early-level fifth-tier psychic! If they didn’t work harder, a Psychic would catch up to them in warrior level. At that point, where would that leave their pride as elites?
