"Don't attack! We surrender! We surrender!!!" Shiva's desperate plea echoed through the conference room.
Silence descended, the other Gods exchanging bewildered glances.
What had just happened? How had the mighty Shiva, the God of Destruction, been so thoroughly outmatched?
And why had he surrendered, even with two other powerful beings appearing in the sky?
The Gods recognized the newcomers.
Brahma, the God of Creation, and Vishnu, the God of Order—two of the three Hindu Trimurti, alongside Shiva.
With Shiva, they formed the Hindu trinity, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions in the world's power rankings.
The Creator, the Preserver, and the Destroyer—together, they could challenge even Ophis.
Even if the Red Dragon Emperor was unexpectedly powerful, surely the Trimurti combined could subdue him. So why surrender? If they surrendered, how could they claim their share of the Biblical God's followers?
Brahma and Vishnu, hovering in the sky, were caught in an awkward predicament. They'd come to Shiva's aid, only to be told to stand down. 'Should they intervene, or not?'
They knew Shiva's surrender had a purpose, that he must have a plan. That was why they'd obeyed his command to stop.
But… the leaders of every pantheon were watching them. Their pride, their reputations, were on the line.
As they hesitated, Haru lifted Shiva's head and slammed it back into the ground.
BOOM!
The impact reverberated through the air, another crater forming in the wasteland.
The Gods below winced, the sound like a hammer blow to their hearts. They stared at Haru, their eyes wide with a mixture of shock and… admiration.
He was openly humiliating Shiva, right in front of the Trimurti. They'd seen reckless behavior before, but this… this was on a whole different level.
Then, grins spread across their faces. Now the Trimurti would have to fight. And once they were finished, it would be time to divide the spoils.
No one believed the Trimurti could lose. They refused to even entertain the thought. The promise of two billion souls, the Biblical God's followers, had blinded them. Like a person feigning sleep, they refused to wake up from their pleasant dream.
Several Gods looked at Brahma and Vishnu, their gazes filled with mockery, silently urging them to act. After all, the Trimurti standing down wouldn't benefit them.
Perhaps provoked by Haru's continued assault on Shiva, or perhaps spurred by the Gods' taunts, Brahma and Vishnu's expressions hardened.
Golden light surged around Brahma, coalescing into a twelve-petaled lotus flower. As a gentle breeze swept through the air, the petals detached and scattered, transforming into a shower of weapons—swords, spears, axes—each radiating divine power.
Beside him, Vishnu chanted, "Demon Subjugation!"
His form shifted, growing into a hundred-meter tall giant, his head transforming into that of a lion.
This was Narasimha, Vishnu's fourth avatar, the Man-Lion, who had ripped apart the demon king Hiranyakashipu in Hindu mythology.
Narasimha, his feet planted on a twelve-petaled white lotus, his body radiating a holy light, his claws gleaming, charged towards Haru.
The storm of divine weapons, surrounding Narasimha, reached Haru in an instant.
Haru grinned. Four arms sprouted from his shoulders, each wielding a weapon—a trident, a conch, a water pot, and a drum—all radiating black flames of Power of Destruction.
BOOM!
The weapons clashed, the force of the impact shattering the surrounding space.
Brahma, hovering above, stared at Haru's weapons, his eyes wide with surprise. "Shiva's weapons? How…?"
Then, his brow furrowed. "Imitations…?"
As Brahma pondered, a third eye appeared on Haru's forehead, unleashing a torrent of black flames that engulfed Narasimha and the divine weapons surrounding him.
The flames sizzled and crackled, the scent of burning flesh filling the air.
Shiva, still dazed from the earlier beating, his nose twitched. "Roasted lion? A nostalgic scent… Though the flavor is… off. Not enough cumin, perhaps?"
Narasimha's lion face turned an angry shade of red. Divine power surged around him, his head transforming from lion to turtle—a different avatar—as water vapor coalesced around him, attempting to extinguish the flames.
Haru's four extra arms vanished. He appeared astride a pure white horse, wielding a three-foot sword wreathed in black flames, and charged towards Narasimha's turtle head.
"Kalki?! Impossible! That's… my avatar!" Narasimha's turtle face contorted in shock.
The white horse, the flaming sword—Haru's power perfectly mirrored Kalki, Vishnu's tenth avatar. He couldn't tell the difference.
Could it be… an avatar he'd somehow left behind in the mortal world?
As Narasimha hesitated, Haru's sword slammed into his face, driving his head into his shoulders.
Narasimha's body stiffened, and he crashed to the ground, his turtle face twitching.
Haru looked up at Brahma, a mischievous grin on his face. A golden, twelve-petaled lotus flower appeared behind him, its petals transforming into a shower of weapons.
Brahma's face paled, and beads of sweat trickled down his forehead. Suddenly remembering Shiva's earlier warning, he roared, "Shiva! What's going on?! What do you know?!"
Shiva, his face bruised and swollen, quickly explained. "He's immune to energy attacks! And he can copy our powers! We can't win!"
The other Gods gasped. If even Shiva, the Third Strongest, couldn't defeat Haru one-on-one, and energy attacks were useless, preventing them from ganging up on him… they were out of options.
Brahma, looking at the weapons shimmering behind Haru, sighed in defeat. With a wave of his hand, the divine weapons around him vanished.
"We surrender! This time, we really surrender!"
Haru tilted his head, looking at the assembled Gods, a playful glint in his eyes. "One at a time? Or all together?"
The Gods glared at him, their faces dark, but under Haru's menacing gaze, they slowly lowered their heads.
Then, Michael, a malicious glint in her eyes, turned her attention to a certain figure among them.
Hades, feeling her gaze upon him, paled.
