As Kuroka teased Koneko, a faint glow emanated from the Old Maou Lucifer's teleportation circle, which still lingered on the floor.

A petite figure materialized—a young woman with long, raven-black hair and delicate, otherworldly features.

Her expression, however, was vacant, like a doll's.

Dressed in a black, gothic-style dress, a playful purple ribbon tied at her back, a purple lace ornament adorning her forehead, she radiated a strange, unsettling aura.

Despite her small stature, the girl's presence filled the room, the very air around her seeming to ripple and distort under some unseen pressure.

She was a vision of captivating beauty, a presence that should have commanded attention, yet no one, except for Haru, seemed to notice her. Their gazes passed over her as if she were a ghost, her image failing to register in their eyes.

The moment she appeared, Haru had enveloped the entire Gremory mansion in his Authority of Heaven and Earth, but it had no effect on her.

The Authority of Heaven and Earth, which manipulated atmospheric energy to achieve various supernatural feats, was Haru's primary method of detecting his surroundings.

But now, this crucial ability had failed. The natural energies he commanded flowed through the girl as if she were empty space, his senses unable to grasp her presence.

If not for his enhanced Campione instincts and heightened senses, he wouldn't have even noticed her arrival.

Since she appeared, the girl's gaze had been fixed on Haru, her expression unchanging, her eyes devoid of any discernible emotion—no hostility, no malice, no curiosity, nothing.

Haru, looking at the impassive girl, his eyes narrowed slightly, a sigh escaping his lips. "I never thought… I'd actually meet you… Ophis…"

In the world of High School DxD, there were only two beings—no, two Dragons—capable of eluding his senses.

Great Red, the Apocalypse Dragon, who roamed the Dimensional Gap.

And now, standing before him, the Ouroboros Dragon, Ophis, the Infinite Dragon God, said to possess unlimited power.

"Ophis?" Rias's eyes widened in alarm.

"Oops, I almost forgot, nya~~" Kuroka said, lightly slapping her forehead.

"You were asking why I came here, right? Our Dragon God wanted to meet Haru, nya~~ That's all."

The others' faces paled, their pupils constricting as their bodies pulsed with uncontrolled magical energy.

...

(Only Haru can see her)

Akeno's hands crackled with lightning as she darted around the room, conjuring purple magic circles—amplifying her senses.

Xenovia and Yuto gripped their swords, their eyes scanning the room, searching for any sign of Ophis, protectively surrounding Asia.

But their efforts were futile. There was no trace of her in the room.

As the minutes ticked by, beads of sweat trickled down their foreheads. Kuroka had said Ophis was here, but despite their best efforts, they couldn't detect her presence.

A sense of dread washed over them, a heavy pressure weighing on their hearts.

Kuroka, watching their fear with amusement, grinned, her hand playfully petting Koneko's head.

But even the most amusing spectacle grows tiresome. Kuroka's smile faded, replaced by a look of boredom. "Ophis-sama, enough with the hide-and-seek, nya~~"

As if a veil had been lifted, Ophis's small form shimmered into view before Haru, as if she'd been standing there all along.

The others stared at her, terrified. Their gazes had crossed that spot countless times, yet they hadn't seen her.

"Is this… the power of the strongest in the world…? The difference is… unimaginable…" Rias's face was ashen, her lips trembling.

"You destroyed… my snake, didn't you?" Ophis asked, her voice flat, her expression unchanging.

Haru blinked, then remembered. During the Three Factions summit, the egg had annihilated the Ouroboros Maou Descendants had consumed.

And during his battle with Diodora, he'd also annihilated the demonic energy infused with Ophis's power.

Could it be that those actions had drawn Ophis's attention, leading to this unexpected encounter?

"Vali said the Red Dragon Emperor is strong," Ophis continued, as if reading his thoughts. "He suspected the Red Dragon Emperor destroyed my snake. I came to confirm."

"You… are strong. You… threaten me." A faint smile touched Ophis's lips.

Haru's eyes narrowed. He activated Steel Incarnation, summoning Divine Sword of Salvation, which radiated a platinum-gold light above his head.

"This… This is what threatens me. More so than… Great Red… It's a Dragon-slaying weapon, isn't it?" Ophis's eyes lit up as she looked at Divine Sword of Salvation, seemingly oblivious to the killing intent radiating from it.

Ophis could sense the power to end her life within Divine Sword of Salvation was both coincidence and fate.

Divine Sword of Salvation, the most powerful Divine Artifact in the Campione! world, was designed to slay immortal Earth Mother Goddesses—and in Campione!, Earth Mothers were often represented by winged serpents—Dragons.

After admiring Divine Sword of Salvation for a moment, Ophis turned her gaze back to Haru, her eyes seemingly piercing through his physical form, seeing directly into his soul.

"You carry the scent of my snake. But it's… weak. A pale imitation."

Haru's eyes widened slightly. He raised his hands, the Authorities of Sky and Earth swirling around them.

Wind, rain, lightning, mountains, rivers, earth, and stone—the elements intertwined, forming a sphere of energy in his Hand.

Ophis extended her slender arm, her hand reaching towards Haru. She opened her palm—
