"Then what do you think we should do?" she asked.

"We will send it like a normal letter, using courier services," Yu Tian said.

"But won't that take too long to arrive?" she asked.

Yu Tian thought that she was right. Normal carrier services aren't the best for this - they'll probably take longer paths to avoid monsters and bandits. He estimated that the letter would probably take two weeks to arrive.

But this should be a good time. He had already calculated and seen that these surrounding sects seemed to also be putting on airs and wouldn't come to greet them. That being the case, the demonic faction was more desperate and would make the first move in a week after watching the situation for some time.

He was planning to reject the demonic faction and kill them after they lash out because of the rejection. Then the demonic faction would watch the reaction of the three sects for another week, and when they notice no movement, they would make their move.

They would send the grand elder at the Golden Core realm to seek an explanation for the death of his subordinates. That's when the letter would be reaching the sect masters of the three other sects.

They would then realize his value, and when they are preparing a delegation, they would receive news that the grand elder of the demonic faction was attacking the sect. They would be extremely desperate and come here themselves.

After that, he just needed to create a situation where the other sect masters would have no choice but to kill the grand elder of the demonic sect. When this happened, the situation would become tense between the four sects.

The willingness of the three to kill the grand elder for him should openly show their stance in this matter, meaning that facing them is like facing the three sects. With this, other sects will hesitate to make a move.

He smiled wickedly. This plan was perfect. He just needed to refine a few details and they would soon have an invincible backer.

"Yu Tian?" she questioned nervously, noticing his evil grin.

He quickly regained his usual calm appearance and then explained his plan to Xueling.

"This plan is really incredible, as expected of you," she praised with an excited expression.

She thought that with the support of three seventh grade sects, she should be able to quickly advance this sect to seventh grade too and gain the qualifications to fight for the throne.

"Alright, I'm done," Xueling said as she passed the letters she had written to Yu Tian.

Yu Tian observed them and nodded. "Good," he said.

The way she wrote them was perfect. He had told her to write so he could teach her a little about being a leader, but it seemed she didn't need his help. To her, it came naturally. The tone was perfect - not too overbearing but not subservient either.

He folded the letters into envelopes and put the pills inside.

Xueling took the envelopes. "I'll go send Jingxing to the post office," she said as she left.

A week later, Yu Tian was sparring with Xueling. He parried her attack easily, redirecting her power.

"That was good. Do it again," he said, and she returned back to her position.

She thought to herself that with Yu Tian's help and the spirit stones, she had managed to enter the ninth layer of the Core Formation realm. This was unprecedented. Even with the spirit stones and Yu Tian's skills, she hadn't expected this at all - it seemed his skills had improved once again.

Another thing was... she looked at Yu Tian and saw the red lines from him that mingled with the blue lines from her. She had finally advanced her battle instinct. The blue lines were finally stable.

She roared and charged at Yu Tian.

Yu Tian was pushed back a few paces before managing to counter and push her back.

"Nice flow, but you let go at the final point. Although you need to leave room for yourself in case of surprises, this is something you keep in your subconscious. Don't neglect attacking just because of fear of a counter," he instructed, and she nodded.

"Alright, do it again," he said, and she went back to her stance once again.

As they trained, Yu Tian wore a bright smile. Her progress was really great.

Four days earlier, his mind level had finally advanced to level four. Using this, he had managed to help Xueling absorb all her share of the spirit stones, advancing her cultivation by leaps and bounds, from the fifth layer all the way to the ninth.

She could already breakthrough to the Golden Core realm if she wanted to, but she preferred reaching the ultimate peak first - the tenth layer. Yu Tian wasn't against it, as this guaranteed a better foundation.

But her cultivation wasn't the only thing that had advanced. Her body seemed to have undergone an upgrade too. Although this contributed greatly to her progress, it contributed even more so to his.

That combined with his level four mind allowed him to reach the tenth layer of Foundation Establishment in his water element. And for his other four elements, he had also reached the tenth layer thanks to his spirit stones.

Thanks to Xueling's body, he still had some stones left, but he was going to use them for the breakthrough to Core Formation tonight.

Now all their riches were gone and they'd be back to progressing like mere mortals soon.

He sighed. Those three sects better not disappoint him when the time comes.

As he thought of this, he blocked another one of Xueling's attacks and pushed her down. He then placed his sword on his shoulder and extended his arm to her.

She took it and he helped her up.

"Why don't we do some real sparring? Isn't that enough sword training for today?" she asked.

Yu Tian smiled. "You want to beat me up because I went a little hard on you?" he asked.

"A little hard, you say..." she thought, but she just smiled, playing innocent. "Whatever do you mean? I just want to spar with you as no one else is my match," she said.

"Alright, we'll spar tomorrow after my breakthrough," he said.

"Why not now?" she asked.

Yu Tian gazed in the direction of the sect gate.

"Because we have important guests."
