Bully Lord

Part-150

James blushed slightly. "It was no problem,I just don't like seeing violence," he replied while looking at Toya. Toya snorted at him as well.

There was a moment of silence as they all looked at each other. Finally, James decided to break the ice.

"Actually, we're here to talk about something else," he began, his voice filled with hesitation. "We're investigating a case of online scams, and we think it might be connected to your identity."

Mrs. Rahman's face turned pale. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice trembling.

James explained the situation, carefully choosing his words. He told her about the victims, the modus operandi of the scammers, and how they had traced the phone numbers to a group of women, including her.

Mrs. Rahman listened intently, her face a mask of shock and disbelief. When James finished, she was silent for a long moment.

"I don't know what to say," she finally said, her voice filled with confusion. "I've never been involved in anything like this."

James could see the genuine fear in her eyes. He knew she was innocent, but he also knew that her identity had been used for nefarious purposes.

"We believe you," he said, trying to reassure her. "We just need your help to catch these people."

Mrs. Rahman nodded, her expression determined. "I'll help you in any way I can," she said.

Before leaving Mrs. Rahman's apartment, James decided to ask one final question. "Mrs. Rahman," he began, his voice filled with concern, "have you ever shared your NID card with anyone? We understand that you recently moved to the city because of Toya's father's job."

Mrs. Rahman paused for a moment, her expression thoughtful. "Now that you mention it, I did share my NID card with someone," she replied. "I needed to buy a new SIM card when we first moved here."

A surge of excitement ran through James, Ryan, and Sourov. They had finally found a lead.

"Do you remember where you bought the SIM card?" Ryan asked, his voice filled with anticipation. James glanced at Ryan, who was acting like an FBI agent.

Mrs. Rahman nodded. "It was a small shop near the bus stand," she said, trying to recall the details. "I think it was called 'Mobile World' or something like that."

The trio exchanged excited glances. They had to find this shop and see if they could get any information about the person who sold the SIM card to Mrs. Rahman.

With renewed hope, they left Mrs. Rahman's apartment and headed towards the bus stand. After searching for a few minutes, they found a small shop called 'Mobile World'.

They exchanged surprised glances, recognizing that this was the same shop near Jenifer Talkuder's apartment where they had inquired about her whereabouts before. They hadn't paid much attention to the shop's name at the time and were unsure if it was Mobile World. Now that it was confirmed, everything fell into place.

Sourov's eyes lit up with excitement. "So, the shop owner is the real culprit. We've finally found the scammer!"
