Chapter 86: Chapter 86 : Undercurrents
"Now let's see what's in this mystery box " Felix muttered as he glanced at the black box in the system space.
Felix stared at the mysterious black box and issued a command in his heart to open it. As soon as he did, the black mystery box burst into intense bright light causing him to squint.
The light started to fade after a while, a few moments later the light completely faded away. Felixooked inside and saw three items inside: a white and gold broken piece of metal, a torn piece of paper, and a golden ticket.
Felix looked at the three items in confusion especially the two of the three items as for the golden ticket he knew it was a Wheel of Industry Lottery.

"System what are these two items?"Felix as the system.
[ The host will have to find on his own ]the system nonchalantly responded.
Felix rolled his when he heard the system. He shook his head, he knew that if the system can't say exactly what these two items are then there is no need to force it to say it.
Felix issued a command in his heart and the two items appeared in his hand, looking closely at the broken piece of metal, he didn't find any interesting about it, it was just like a random broken piece of metal found in a trash can.
Shaking his head, he looked at the piece of paper.when he saw the paper,Felix furrowed his brows because the paper was completely blank and some parts of the paper was torn looking old and worn.
Felix was slightly speechless as he looked at the two pieces of trash in his hand, he didn't expect the mystery box to contain such weird items and trash items.
Among the three items only the Wheel of the Lottery is valuable for this piece of scrab metal and old and worn out piece of paper he didn't have ding anything interesting about them.
Felix rubbed his nose and put the two items in his storage ring, at least it came from the system, who knows it might come in handy sometimes.
Felix stood up and glance at the sun which was high in the sky and thought for a moment before shaking his head.
"Let's wait till night time" He muttered under his breath.
---------------------------
Time flew by and in a twinkle of an eye, night had fallen. The three massive silvery white moons as always have taken their rightful places high above the night sky, shining brightly in the sky, illuminating everything below.

"Hey big bro, what are you doing here?" Zephyr looked surprised as he walked into the huge dark hall seeing Felix standing in front of the dark throne with his hands behind his back.
Felix turned to Zephyr with a smile, "Nice place you've got here, Zephyr. Looks like you're doing well and you even have a throne, nice."
Zephyr chuckled and scratched his head, feeling a bit sheepish.
Felix shook his head and asked, "So, how are things going so far?"
Zephyr's expression immediately turned serious as he replied, "The Abyss Gate has taken control of the underground world in three districts. We've run into some trouble with other gangs, so we've put a hold on expanding for now."
Felix nodded and inquired, "How's the development of the intelligence network coming along?"
Zephyr grinned and said, "I've got my men working on it. By the end of next month, our network will cover the whole city."
"Good," Felix smiled and nodded. "And how strong is the Abyss Gate now?"
Zephyr chuckled, "Thanks to the resources you provided, the number of Mana Cultivators in our ranks is increasing day by day . We'll have Tier 3 Knights among us soon."
Felix nodded in satisfaction, "Looks like you're doing a great job. Just make sure no one connects the Morningstar Family to the Abyss Gate."
Zephyr nodded, puzzled, "But why keep it a secret, big bro?"
Felix shook his head, "It's not the right time."
Zephyr nodded in understanding and asked, "So big bro, what brings you here? I believe you didn't just come to see how the Abyss Gate is doing, right?"
Felix nodded, "You're right about that. I came here to give you a task to complete."
"What task?" Zephyr looked at Felix and asked.
"I want you to send some of your strongest members to Greevale City, Anostmarch City, and Fallmoore City," Felix said.
Zephyr was confused, "Why do you want me to do that?"
"Currently, the Morningstar Restaurant has opened three new branches in those cities, and I want you to send some of your men there to secretly monitor those branches," Felix explained.
Zephyr nodded in understanding, pondering for a moment before replying, "But big bro, you know we currently have our hands full here and we can't afford to send some of our members to other areas. Besides, our current strength is not enough."
Felix shook his head, "I'm not asking you to go there and start fighting or killing. I want you to just send some of your strongest men there to lay low and keep an eye on those restaurants. And there is a reason why I want you to send your strongest members."
Felix narrowed his eyes, "The reason why I want you to send your strongest members is that I want them to lay down a solid foundation in those cities. They can slowly expand the Abyss Gate's influence there, and by the time you are done with Bridgemoor City, you can start with those cities. It will be easier for you after you decide to go to those three cities."
Zephyr sank into deep thoughts as he listened to Felix's explanation.
Just as Felix said, he only had to send some of the Abyss Gate members there to protect the three restaurants and slowly expand their influence in those cities.
"They just have to do it secretly and not to attract any attention to themselves while doing it " Felix added.
Zephyr glanced at Felix and nodded, "Okay, big bro, I'll send some people there in a few days."
Felix nodded calmly, "That's all. I'll be going now."
With that, Felix's figure started to look ethereal, and in a few moments, he disappeared from where he stood as if he had never been there at all.
Zephyr gazed at the spot where Felix had been standing, lost in deep thought.
"Big bro has become stronger again," he muttered under his breath, a smile playing on his face.
---------------------------
Time continued to pass, and Felix and the others went about their normal lives.
Trinity and Brixton had already formed the Morningstar Adventurer Team and were busy raiding dungeons and completing missions in the Adventurer District.
Zephyr was occupied with the Abyss Gate and was extremely busy.
As Gwendolyn, she was always training and receiving guidance from Jarvis, as they were from the same race.
During this time, she had been attempting to awaken her Ice Elemental Bloodline with Jarvis's help, but so far, nothing had happened.
Felix and Nixie were running the Morningstar Restaurant, with Nixie handling various tasks given by Felix.
Felix himself was managing the restaurant and teaching Nixie about Business Administration and other business knowledge.
However, during this period, the atmosphere in Bridgemoor City was becoming more intense and strange.
While the commoners couldn't see or sense anything, powerful Mana Cultivators and influential figures in the city could feel the tension brewing.
Felix was also puzzled by the tension in Bridgemoor City's atmosphere.
Firstly the number of soldiers patrolling the streets had doubled, and security had tightened.
According to the information he received from Trinity, the dungeons around Bridgemoor City have been acting strangely. It seems that the runes sealing the dungeons are starting to fade.
Additionally, while She and the Morningstar Adventurer Team were completing missions in the Atmos Forest, they noticed a sharp increase in the number of Magical Beasts, especially in the outer ring of the forest.
Secondly,Felix also noticed that there have been some new faces coming to Bridgemoor City, with an increase in the number of foreigners.
All of these factors have left him feeling confused and uncomfortable, as he is kept in the dark about what is happening in the city.
Luckily he has instructed Zephyr to start investigating to get to the bottom of things.
-------------------------------
"So you mean a few months from now on, there is going to be a dungeon break and a beast tide?" Felix looked at Zephyr and asked.
"Yes big bro " Zephyr nodded solemnly.
Currently he, Zephyr Trinity Gwendolyn Brixton and Nixie were all in the study room with serious expressions on their faces.
"Now that you have mention it, it seems I've heard about this dungeon break when we were in the Adventurer District but I didn't put that into mind " Trinity said.
"And also according to the information I've gathered, it seems there is something more than just Dungeon Break and Beast tide " Zephyr said.
"Oh what's it? " All of them looked at Zephyr.
Zephyr shook his head and said solemnly," I don't know what it is but according to pieces of information my men have gathered, it's seems it have something to do with the Dragonskull Dungeon ".
"What! You mean the only Gold Rank Dungeon in the surrounding twelve cities and also one off the twenty Gold Rank Dungeons in the Kingdom " Trinity looked at Zephyr with shock in her eyes.
Brixton was also looking at Zephyr with deep shock in his eyes.
