"Randolph, Theophilus my old friends nice to meet you guys again" Chef Gideon also smiled and hugged them back.

The three of them separated and looked at each with relief and smils in theit faces.

Randolph is a tall man with aquiline nose deep set of blue eyes and a sharp chin, his eyebrows were also quite lonas well.

As for Theophilus he was the opposite of Randolph, he was much shorter and chubby, with a red nose, his eyes were green and honest smile on his face.

Her face was perfectly define, with deep red eyes thin red lips, skin as white as snow, she was truly beautiful.

"Humph!"Fiora looked at Chef Gideon from the corner if her eyes and snorted turning her head away.

Chef Gideon rubbed his nose with an embarrassed and awkward smiled, he turn ot Randolph and Theophilus.

"Come on, follow me inside," Chef Gideon said, leading the three of them into the mansion.

A few minutes later, they were all gathered under a small tree at a table. Chef Gideon looked at them gratefully, took a deep breath, and said, "Thank you all for coming on such short notice. I really appreciate it."

Randolph waved his hand, saying, "Don't worry, old friend. We're here for you."

"Yeah, Gideon, no need to thank us. We've been friends for over two decades. Just give us a call, and we'll be there," Theophilus laughed heartily.

Fiora, sitting across from Chef Gideon, whispered, "At least someone still remembers us."

Chef Gideon's face turned awkward as he rubbed his nose. "Fiora, you know I could never forget about you guys."

BANG!

Fiora slammed the table, leaving a palm print, and shouted, "If you really cared about us, you wouldn't have abandoned us and run off after your setback. Friends are supposed to support each other and what did you do you ran off without saying anything"

Chef Gideon lowered his head, guilt flashing in his eyes. Randolph intervened, "Fiora, calm down. Gideon has been through a lot."

Fiora sat back down, still angry. "Because of him, we've been under the cursed for the past two decades and haven't even advance. Our lives have been hell."

Chef Gideon looked at Randolph and Theophilus in shock, " You guys...."

Theophilus laughed bitterly and said,"Fiora is right the three of us were also put under the curse by that bitch and she made sure that none us do well in the Royal Capital ".

Chef Gideon's eyes were filled with guilt as he looked at the three of them. "You guys, I didn't know this would happen to you guys. I'm really sorry I didn't know I would implicate you guys to this extent. Please forgive me," Chef Gideon's eyes filled with self-blame as he apologized.

"Come on, old friend, you don't have to apologize. We never blame you for implicating us. We are friends after all," Randolph chuckled as he patted Chef Gideon on the shoulder.

Chef Gideon looked at Randolph, Theophilus, and Fiora with deep gratitude in his eyes. "Thanks," Chef Gideon wiped the faint tears in his eyes and said.

"Hahahahah! You guys don't need to make this atmosphere so sad," Theophilus laughed heartily and patted his chest.

"So, old friend, how have you been all these years?" Randolph asked.

Chef Gideon took a deep breath and said, "Well, during all these years, my life has not been good. I was still devastated by what happened all those years ago. Whenever I think about it, my heart seems to be torn apart. It's very excruciating."

"Don't worry about it, old friend. You don't have to think about all that happened. Forget about that," Theophilus also said.

Chef Gideon sighed ruefully, a flicker of sadness flashed in his pupils. He hesitated for a moment before saying, "So, how is she?"

"You're still thinking about the person who betrayed you, disgusting," Fiora sneered with disdain as she looked at Chef Gideon. A look of pain and disappointment flickered in her eyes before disappearing.

Randolph and Theophilus fell silent. Chef Gideon lowered his head as he also fell silent.

A few moments later, Randolph sighed as he patted Chef Gideon on the shoulder. "Old friend, that woman have before moved on with her life - she's now married with three children. Forget about her and move on ".

Chef Gideon's figure trembled slightly when he heard Randolph. He clenched his fist so hard that his nails dug into his palms, drawing out blood a look of intense pain filled his eyes.

Randolph gazed at Chef Gideon with a sympathetic look in his eyes as he shook his head.

"Okay guys, let's not dwell on that anymore," Theophilus waved his hand and said. He turned to Chef Gideon and remarked, "So, old friend, I can see that you're more spirited than we thought."

Chef Gideon raised his head and forced a smile, "Well, that's because someone talked me out of it."

"Who? Is it a new woman? Did you find yourself a new woman?" Theophilus asked eagerly.

Randolph also looked at Chef Gideon with curiosity in his eyes.

Fiora, who was sitting across from Chef Gideon, perked up her ears, though her expression seemed to say, "I don't care about you."

Chef Gideon smiled slightly and shook his head, "No, it's not a woman. It's my boss."

"Your boss!" They all exclaimed in unison, their eyes widening as they looked at Chef Gideon.

"Yes, my boss," Chef Gideon nodded.

"But didn't you say you wouldn't work for anyone in your entire life?" Theophilus asked.

Chef Gideon scratched his head, "Well, that was many years ago. We all grow, right? Besides, my boss is a really good person." Randolph and the others nodded in understanding.

"So, who is your boss?" Randolph inquired.

"That's why I called you guys here," Chef Gideon said, looking at the three of them. "Well, you see, my boss opened a restaurant in Brigdemoor. He hired me as the head chef, and now he's preparing to open three new branches. He needs spirited chefs for these branches, so he asked if I knew anyone. That's why I called you guys here."

Randolph, Theophilus, and Fiora listened with thoughtful expressions on their faces. "So, what's this restaurant like?"

"I'm sure you guys have already heard about it - it's currently the most luxurious and famous restaurant in the city," Chef Gideon said.

"You mean the Origin Restaurant?" Theophilus thought for a moment and asked.

"Yes, it's the Origin Restaurant," Chef Gideon nodded with a chuckle.

"Since we arrived here yesterday, we've heard some news about this restaurant. According to what we've heard, it seems to be the dining hub for all the rich and powerful in the city. The dishes there are also unique and expensive," Randolph said with a smile.

"We didn't expect that you are the head chef in that restaurant. Congratulations, old friend," Theophilus chimed in.

Chef Gideon waved his hand. "You don't have to congratulate me."

He looked at them and asked, "So, have you guys decided to work for my boss?"

All three of them fell silent, exchanging complicated looks.

Seeing their hesitation, Chef Gideon smiled and said, "I know you guys might be hesitating, but let me tell you something because of my boss, the curse placed on me has been broken."

"Wait, what?" All of them looked at Chef Gideon with shock in their eyes.

"Old friend, you mean your curse has been broken?" Randolph asked.

"Yep," Chef Gideon chuckled.

They all took in a deep breath, astonishment in their eyes.

"But isn't that curse difficult to break? I mean, it was created by a Tier 9 Forbidden Dark Mage, after all," Theophilus said in shock.

"Well, I don't know how my boss got the method to break the curse, but it's the truth. The curse on me has been broken, and I'm about to advance to Tier 2 Intermediate Knight. It won't be long before I become a 2 Star Spirit Chef," Chef Gideon said.

"Well, if what you said is true, old friend, then I would like to meet your boss," Randolph chuckled.

Chef Gideon smiled and nodded, then turned to Theophilus and Fiora and asked, "What about you two?"

Theophilus smiled and replied, "Okay, I would also like to meet your boss."

Fiora looked at Chef Gideon for a moment before nodding her head.

Chef Gideon grinned and said, "Great! I promise you won't be disappointed. Tomorrow, I'll take you to meet my boss."
