Chapter 105: Chapter 105 : Careless
Jarvis face was calm and still as water as he observed the disbelief etched on Felix and the others' faces. "But the one I killed was just a baby, not yet an adult," he added.
A collective sigh of relief escaped from Felix and his companions.
If Jarvis had truly slain a True Dragon, they would have struggled to believe it, no matter how powerful he was. But a baby dragon? That seemed more plausible.
"If it's just a baby dragon, then that's fine," Nixie chuckled. "How strong could it possibly be? Maybe Tier 8 or Tier 9 at most!" The others nodded in agreement, laughter bubbling among them.
Jarvis regarded them calmly and said, "You guys are like frogs at the bottom of a well. Do you even know how powerful a baby dragon can be? The one I killed was a Saint Realm Dragon, just in its infancy."
"What?!" Nixie's eyes widened with astonishment.
"Are you sure about that?" she asked, genuinely shocked.
"Don't forget who I am," Jarvis replied with a knowing look.
Nixie took a deep breath to steady herself.
"When dragons are born, they're already at Tier 9 Forbidden Realm. So just imagine how powerful an adult dragon is! The baby dragon I killed had only recently stepped into the Saint Realm, but even so, I had to use everything I had and risk my life to take it down," Jarvis explained.
He turned his gaze toward Trinity. "If she awakens her bloodline, she'll become incredibly strong."
"Wow! Big sis, don't forget me when you're all powerful! I'll need you to back me up in the future!" Nixie exclaimed with sparkling eyes.
"But what puzzles me is how someone like you has the bloodline of a True Dragon," Jarvis mused as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully while looking at Trinity. "Dragons are born from eggs and typically disdain transforming into humans or any other race, they take pride in their form."
"Do you know something?" Jarvis asked Trinity directly.
Trinity shook her head slowly. "All I know is that I grew up in a human family until slave merchants raided my home and captured me."
"Did your parents ever mention adopting you or where they found you?" Jarvis pressed further.
Trinity paused for a moment before shaking her head again.
"Hmmm… this is really strange," Jarvis said thoughtfully. "Awakening your bloodline will be quite challenging, really challenging."
"Why do you say that?" Trinity asked curiously.
"Since you're born human but possess True Dragon bloodline traits, awakening it might involve complications unless you're exposed to some high energy source or force it to appear " Jarvis explained.
"What do you mean by forcing the bloodline to appear?" Trinity questioned further.
"If you ever find yourself in a life-or-death situation, your True Dragon Bloodline might just awaken to protect you," Jarvis said, his voice steady.
Trinity fell silent, absorbing the weight of his words.
"You mean she has to start courting death now?" Felix blurted out, utterly speechless.
"Exactly. Every time she battles, she needs to put her life on the line if she wants to awaken her bloodline faster," Jarvis confirmed with a nod.
Felix and the others exchanged glances, unsure of how to respond.
"What about that high-level energy you mentioned?" Zephyr asked, curiosity piqued.
Jarvis explained further, "She'll need something to stimulate her bloodline, like the blood of another True Dragon or a rival bloodline."
Zephyr frowned. "But where are we supposed to find True Dragon blood? We've never even seen one!" Suddenly, he turned sharply toward Felix. "Unless…"
Felix caught on quickly. After pondering for a moment, he looked back at Jarvis. "What about the blood essence of a Drake? Would that work?"
"Blood essence of a Drake?" Jarvis raised an eyebrow in surprise as he regarded Felix. "You guys have that?"
Felix nodded calmly.
"Well then, it seems your adventure was quite fruitful!" Jarvis chuckled lightly.
Felix raised an eyebrow slightly as he looked at Jarvis small creepy smirk danced at the corner of his mouth.
"So will it actually work?" Zephyr pressed eagerly.
Jarvis shook his head. "Unfortunately not."
"Why not? Isn't a Drake still part of the Dragon Race?" Zephyr asked, puzzled.
"True Dragons are the pinnacle of this world, they embody strength," Jarvis explained patiently. "Their bloodline is among the strongest and most valuable out there. They guard their lineage fiercely; have you ever seen one mate with another race? No! They wouldn't want to taint their bloodline.
If Trinity tries to absorb Drake blood essence, her True Dragon Bloodline will reject it,and worse yet, she could die from it."
Disappointment washed over them as they realized their hopes were dashed; they had thought Drake essence might be the answer.
"But don't lose hope just yet!" Jarvis interjected suddenly.
"What do you mean?" they all exclaimed in surprise.
"While she can't absorb the essence directly, it can still help temper her body, and yours too! Using Drake blood essence for body tempering could lead to significant changes and greatly enhance your defenses," Jarvis elaborated enthusiastically.
"That sounds amazing!" Felix grinned and nodded in agreement.
"If you're interested in body tempering, I'll provide you with a list of resources to mix with the blood essence," Jarvis added with assurance.
"Great!" Felix replied eagerly.
Jarvis nodded thoughtfully and turned to Trinity. "If you want to awaken your bloodline, you'll need to do it on your own," he said, his voice steady and encouraging.
"Got it," Trinity replied, determination shining in her eyes.
Then Jarvis shifted his focus to Gwendolyn, pointing a finger gently at her forehead.
A brilliant beam of light shot forth, penetrating her mind. "Cultivate according to this technique," he instructed, "and you'll unlock your Ice Elemental Elf Bloodline."
For a brief moment, Gwendolyn's expression was blank as the information sank in. Then she snapped back to reality and nodded appreciatively at Jarvis.
Just then, Una dashed over to Felix with a pout. "Big brother Felix, I'm hungry!" she exclaimed.
Felix chuckled and scooped her up effortlessly. "Alright, Una! If you're hungry, let's go grab something to eat!"
With laughter and chatter filling the air, the group left the pavilion together, each step echoing their camaraderie.
Only Jarvis remained behind, watching them with a simple smile.
"What an interesting bunch of kids," he murmured to himself.

Night in Brigdemoor City: A Glimpse from the Morningstar Family Mansion
In the Edel District, Felix stood by the expansive French windows of his bedroom, gazing out into the distance.
Even from this luxurious vantage point, he could hear the distant barking of dogs and catch a whiff of death and blood lingering ominously in the air.
The destruction caused by the beast tide to Brigdemoor City have really killed a lot of people especially the commners, they were the ones who suffered the most.

With a heavy sigh, he reflected on his journey over the past six months. Since arriving in this world, he had tread carefully, always wary of attracting trouble he couldn't handle.
Yet now, as news of devastation swept through Brigdemoor City, where countless commoners had perished, he couldn't shake the feeling that fate had played a cruel trick.
Just half a year ago, he too had been among those vulnerable souls in the slums. If destiny hadn't intervened, who knew where he would be now? Perhaps lying lifeless among those lost.
"Nature is truly unfair," Felix muttered under his breath, shaking his head.
"Arthur," he called softly.
In an instant, a beam of light erupted from his forehead, revealing Arthur clad in an elegant white tuxedo, a vision of refinement and grace.
"Master Felix, you summoned me?" Arthur bowed respectfully.
Felix nodded gravely. "Retrieve what I asked you to find."
"Yes, Master Felix." With a swift wave of his small arms, Arthur conjured a massive glowing golden orb that hovered ominously in the room.
BOOM! CRACK!
But as soon as it appeared, cracks began to form around it like dark vortexes threatening to consume everything.
Suddenly overwhelmed with fear and pain, Felix spat out blood and dropped to one knee. "Arthur! Hurry! Put it back!"
Without hesitation, Arthur waved his hand again and made the golden orb vanish instantly. As it disappeared, the space around them began to mend itself; within moments, all signs of chaos were gone.
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the Morningstar Family Mansion's depths, Jarvis sat cross-legged with confusion etched on his face after sensing something strange ripple through reality.
"What was that?" he murmured before closing his eyes once more.
At the Netherfrost Clan Estate, the Fifth Elder's eyes flew open wide as he peered through his roof at the night sky above him, puzzlement clouding his thoughts.
Deep within a vast canyon at Atmos Forest's center, an enormous eye opened slowly and fixated on Brigdemoor City.
"Hmmm… what an unusual sensation," it mused as ripples coursed through its surroundings before settling down again.
This peculiar phenomenon echoed throughout Avalonia Kingdom, and beyond, as ancient beings stirred from their slumber to gaze skyward with solemn expressions etched across their faces.
Felix who was the culprit of all this was sitting in his bedroom which was devastated beyond recognition with a pale face.
" I was truly careless" He smiled bitterly and wiped the blood from the corner of his lips.
