Building A Business Empire From Scratch In Another World

Chapter 103: Chapter 103 : Getting Out

"Look! Big Brother Arthur is almost done!" Nixie's voice broke through Felix's deep contemplation.

Felix turned to see that nearly half of the treasures in the hall had already been neatly packed away into a shimmering silver box.

"Arthur really is fast, isn't he?" Zephyr remarked, astonished.

"Big bro, how are we going to get out of here?" Brixton suddenly asked, looking around nervously.

"Let's wait until Arthur finishes storing everything," Felix suggested with a wave of his hand as he scanned their surroundings. The others nodded in agreement and continued watching Arthur work diligently.

"Hmmm... Big bro, I've been meaning to ask," Brixton said thoughtfully. "How come there are so many treasures here? I doubt it was just the person who sealed the Drake who put them here."

Felix paused for a moment; he hadn't considered that before. The others exchanged curious glances as well.

After some reflection, Felix replied, "From what I know about dragons, they have this peculiar hobby: they love collecting shiny and precious objects!. Since this Drake has some dragon blood in its veins, it probably shares that same fascination."

"But where did it get all these treasures?" Brixton scratched his head in confusion. "If it was sealed and couldn't move much, how could it gather so many?"

"Well," Gwendolyn chimed in thoughtfully, "this Drake has been imprisoned on this dungeon floor for ten thousand years! Over those millennia, countless powerful Mana Cultivators have attempted to raid this place, most didn't make it out alive. Those who did were no ordinary cultivators; their wealth was on another level entirely!

It's likely that over time, this Drake collected treasures from all those fallen adventurers' storage rings."

She paused for effect before adding, "And remember, it's been happening for ten thousand years! It makes sense there would be such an enormous hoard."

"And we're benefiting from it!" Zephyr chuckled.

Felix exchanged amused glances with Brixton and joined in on the laughter.

"Yeah! We're reaping the rewards, what a world we live in huh!"

Felix shook his head and glanced at Arthur. "Huh, looks like Arthur is done."

The others exchanged surprised glances as they watched Arthur soar toward them, his main body radiating pride.

Before them lay a vast hall brimming with treasures now all the gold coins and artifacts had been swept clean, leaving not even a single coin behind.

"Master Felix, I'm done!" Arthur floated in front of Felix and bowed deeply.

Felix reached out to touch Arthur's main body and sent his consciousness inside.

To his astonishment, all the treasures were meticulously categorized and organized into distinct sections.

A massive hall had transformed into multiple smaller chambers, each dedicated to different types of treasures.

One chamber housed neatly stacked gold coins, while another showcased weapons sorted by their levels, a truly convenient arrangement!

Felix nodded in satisfaction; this organization would make it easy for him and the others to retrieve what they needed. "You've done well, Arthur," he praised.

"That is my duty, Master Felix," Arthur replied with a smile as he bowed once more.

"Arthur, have you found what I asked you to locate?" Felix transmitted his voice directly to him.

"Yes, Master Felix! I've found it. Would you like me to retrieve it for you?" Arthur responded eagerly.

"No, let's wait until we're out of here," Felix decided.

"Understood, Master Felix." With that, Arthur transformed into a stream of light and entered the silver box.

The box then shot up into the air before drilling into Felix's brow and settling deep within his consciousness.

"Okay everyone," Felix said as he gathered the group's attention. "Let's find our way out of here! I'm sure the kids are worried sick by now."

"Yeah! We should hurry back; it's been over a month!" Trinity added anxiously.

"But I wonder if the the Beast Tide and Dungeon Breaks is over?" Zephyr pondered thoughtfully.

"We'll find out once we escape," Felix assured them as they quickly made their way back to where the Drake had been sealed.

Minutes later, they arrived at their destination only to be greeted by a swirling black portal in the center of the magic circle where the Drake once stood bound.

"Big bro! I think this might be our way out!" Nixie exclaimed excitedly.

"Hmmm…" Felix nodded thoughtfully as he studied the spinning portal.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Suddenly, everything began to tremble violently, the dungeon shook as if caught in an earthquake.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

The surrounding space cracked like shattered glass but was eerily mended almost instantly.

Stunned by this bizarre phenomenon, Felix shouted urgently: "Quick! Everyone inside the portal now!".

His command snapped everyone from their daze as they hurriedly entered without looking back.

Felix was last; he took one final glance around when suddenly something dark flashed at the edge of his vision before vanishing entirely.

"What was that?" Felix exclaimed, confusion etched across his face.

Unfortunately he have any entered the portal, but the scene of the black shadow have been etched into his memory.

As Felix and his companions stepped through the portal, a dark shadow materialized before them, standing utterly still.

"Still too slow," it muttered under its breath before vanishing as quickly as it had appeared, like smoke in the wind.

-------------------------------

Meanwhile, deep within Dragonskull Dungeon, Lucien Netherfrost stood frozen alongside the Fifth Elder and other members of the Netherfrost clan.

Their eyes widened in shock as the ground trembled beneath them, and space itself began to crack apart like shattered glass.

"Fifth Elder, what's happening?" Lucien asked urgently, glancing at the elder with mounting dread.

"I don't know," the Fifth Elder replied, shaking his head as panic set in.

Suddenly, a brilliant beam of light engulfed them all. In an instant, they vanished from their spot, gone without a trace.

----------------------------

Elsewhere in Dragonskull Dungeon, members of the Royal Family faction were equally stunned.

They stared wide-eyed at the chaotic scene unfolding around them—the very fabric of reality splitting apart with terrifying intensity.

"Your Highness! We need to get out of here!" A General urged respectfully as he bowed before the young man who led their group.

The young man frowned deeply at the devastation surrounding them; fear gripped him tightly.

Before they could react further, another radiant beam enveloped them too. Just like that, they disappeared from where they stood.

And it wasn't just these factions; everyone present in Dragonskull Dungeon found themselves caught in this mysterious light and vanished into thin air.

Moments later, all those raiding Dragonskull Dungeon were gone, leaving behind nothing but echoes of confusion and uncertainty.

---------------------------------

On top of a desolate hill, the ground suddenly cracked open, releasing a flurry of figures who tumbled out just as quickly as the fissure closed behind them.

These individuals are naturally Trinity, Felix, Gwendolyn, Brixton, Zephyr, and Nixie.

Their faces were as pale as sheets of paper. Nixie immediately crouched in a corner and began to vomit violently.

Felix felt queasy too; his face mirrored her pallor as he fought back the urge to join her but managed to regain his composure.

"Looks like we're out?" Zephyr gasped after catching his breath.

"Yeah, but where *are* we?" Brixton scratched his head in confusion.

The group glanced around and realized they stood atop a barren hill with no signs of life or greenery in sight, just an endless stretch of desolation.

Zephyr turned to Felix, whose brows were knitted together in deep thought. "Big bro, are you alright?" he asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm good," Felix replied absently. "Just thinking about something."

"So... do you know where we are?" Zephyr pressed again.

Finally snapping out of his reverie, Felix surveyed their surroundings, a vast expanse devoid of anything familiar for at least ten kilometers.

Speechless for a moment, he called out to the system: "Hey system! Do you know where we are?"

"1000 BEP," came the curt reply.

Felix's lips twitched in annoyance. "Damn! What a greedy system. Just take it."

"Host, you are currently fifty miles north of Brigdemoor City. With your current strength and route taken into account, it will take three days to reach there," the system informed him matter-of-factly.

Nodding thoughtfully at the holographic map projected before him, Felix finally spoke up: "Okay guys! I've found our way back to Brigdemoor City, it'll take us three days at our current pace."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Nixie exclaimed eagerly as she jumped up from her spot.

"Good!" Felix smiled back at her enthusiasm.

With renewed determination fueling their steps, they set off toward Brigdemoor City together.

---------------------------------

Just a few miles away from where Felix and the others had mysteriously appeared, another scene was unfolding. Multiple beams of light erupted from the ground, revealing figures who looked utterly bewildered.

"Are we… out?" Lucien Netherfrost stammered, his eyes darting around in confusion.

"It appears so," replied the Fifth Elder, standing beside him with a contemplative expression.

"But what about the Dragonskull Dungeon and the Saint Core?" Lucien's bewilderment deepened.

BOOOOOM!

Suddenly, an earth-shattering boom echoed through the air as a massive golden beam of light sliced through the clouds above.

The Fifth Elder and Lucien exchanged wide-eyed glances before vanishing from their spot in an instant.

When they reappeared, they found themselves standing at the entrance of the Dragonskull Dungeon.

To their shock, they weren't alone; all those who had entered with them were there too, but their numbers had dwindled significantly, leaving only a handful behind.

The expressions on everyone's faces mirrored their disbelief as they took in the scene before them: what was once the formidable Dragonskull Dungeon now lay in ruins, a mere pile of rubble.

"The Dragonskull Dungeon is destroyed!" someone finally exclaimed, breaking the stunned silence.
