Chapter 25

The media was taken by surprise when the first photos of Scott Jenner, Scarlett Johansson, and Rose began to circulate. Paparazzi had captured some moments of the family in Greece, especially during a boat trip and while walking through the picturesque streets of Santorini.

The images showed Scott and Scarlett laughing together, and Rose happily playing alongside them, which quickly triggered a flurry of headlines and speculation.

"Scarlett Johansson and new boyfriend Scott Jenner enjoy family vacation in Greece!" read a headline in a celebrity magazine, accompanied by several photos from the trip.

Scarlett had spent years alongside actors such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo, forming a bond of friendship that continued even after the end of the franchise. Now, with Scarlett in a serious relationship, it was natural that they would want to meet the man who had won the heart of the "Black Widow".

Scarlett organized an intimate dinner at her home in Los Angeles, bringing together her closest friends. Scott was a little apprehensive, but Scarlett reassured him.

"They're going to love you," she said with a smile, holding his hand.

Mark Ruffalo, always friendly, hugged Scarlett and introduced himself to Scott. "So, you were Delta Force, huh? Impressive. We're all curious to know what it's really like to be a hero, as opposed to us who just wear funny costumes."

Scott gave a modest laugh, appreciating the lighthearted tone of the conversation.

Chris Evans, one of Scarlett's closest friends, was also there. He eyed Scott curiously, but as soon as they started talking, it was clear that there was mutual respect. "I'm not gonna lie, man," Evans said. "We know how to hold a shield and act in front of the camera, but what you did… well, that's on a whole other level. Thank you for your service."

Scott nodded, feeling at ease among the group. "I just did what any of my friends would do," he said humbly. "I'm lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people."

Throughout the night, the group shared inside jokes about the Avengers movies and behind-the-scenes stories, and Scott quickly became part of the dynamic.

Robert, ever the jokester, even suggested that Scott should appear in an upcoming action film. "I'm sure the audience would love a real ex-Delta Force cast member. Let's make it happen!" he said, winking at Scarlett, who laughed and shook her head.

Later, as everyone was relaxing on the couch, Scarlett looked at Scott with pride. She knew how important it was for him to be accepted by her friends, and he had done it with grace and confidence.

They shared a look that said more than words could ever say, and Scarlett knew that her relationship with Scott was only growing stronger by the day.

At the end of the night, Chris Hemsworth approached Scott and said, "If you and Scarlett want to spend some time in Australia, you have a place to stay. The kids would love to meet a real action hero."

Scott laughed and thanked her for the offer.

As the guests began to say their goodbyes, Scarlett and Scott were left alone in the living room. "See? I told you they would love you," she said, smiling.

Scott smiled back, feeling at peace. He was no longer just the ex-military man who had lived in the shadows, but someone who was building a new life with people who truly valued him.

Chapter 27

Christmas 2023 has arrived with a special aura for Scott Jenner, Scarlett Johansson, and their daughter Rose. This year, the couple decided to spend the holidays with the big and lively Kardashian-Jenner family at Kris Jenner's house.

Since Scarlett had been introduced to Scott's family, and Scott had already met Scarlett's family, the two families coming together for Christmas seemed like the next natural step.

Everyone was excited to spend the holiday together, making memories in an environment of love and celebration. Kris's house was dazzlingly decorated for Christmas, with twinkling lights and a huge tree covered in fancy ornaments, presents under it, and the traditional table filled with delicious treats prepared by the matriarch.

Rose was delighted with the decorations and kept running around the house, while Scott's sisters, Kendall, Kylie, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe, laughed and played with the little one. Rose had already bonded with her aunts, who spoiled her and showered her with gifts.

Kris, as always, greeted everyone with a warm smile, happy to see the house full of life. "Welcome to the family, Scarlett and Rose!" Kris said, hugging them both. Scarlett, a little shy, smiled and thanked Kris for her hospitality, while Rose hid slightly behind her mother's legs.

"You're going to love Christmas at my mother's house," Scott whispered to Scarlett as they entered the living room. "Get ready for the full Kardashian-Jenner experience." Scarlett laughed nervously, but she could already feel the warmth in the air.

Shortly after, Scarlett's parents and her brother Hunter arrived. It was the first time the two families had been together for such an intimate celebration, and the atmosphere was light and relaxed from the start. Kris made a point of getting close to Scarlett's parents, talking about their grandchildren and exchanging childhood stories.

In the living room, conversation flowed naturally. Scott, as always, kept a low profile, but he was amused to see his family and Scarlett's getting along so well.

Scarlett watched fondly, seeing how comfortable and happy her daughter was in the environment.

Everyone raised their glasses and toasted, while Scott looked at Scarlett, pleased to see how much she was already a part of his life and his family. "She's always been the adventurous one," Hunter said with a laugh. "Now that I look at who she chose as a boyfriend, it makes sense. Scott is the kind of guy I always imagined she would end up dating."

Scarlett blushed slightly, but smiled at Scott, who returned the look with affection.

After dinner, the families settled into the living room to exchange gifts. Rose was particularly excited to open her packages, and Scott's sisters laughed at her excitement. Scarlett, already feeling at home, smiled back. "Me too. He's amazing, and Rose loves him."

Christmas continued with laughter and tender moments, as the two families got to know each other better and strengthened their bond. At the end of the night, Scott and Scarlett went out into the garden for a quiet moment.

"That was amazing," Scarlett said, holding Scott's hand. "I never imagined we would spend a Christmas like this, with our families together."

"Me neither," Scott replied, looking up at the starry sky. "But now that we're here, it feels like the right place to be."

And so, with their families united and surrounded by the spirit of Christmas, Scott and Scarlett felt that this It was the first of many memorable Christmases together.
