"What, did you think only women lived in the Pink Blossom Tree Sect?" Chi Kai replied playfully. "Yes, we have male disciples—though they're few in number."

"Oh? And how do they survive in a sect full of essence-draining women? My fat friend said you all are witches who drain men's life force through cultivation. Is that not true?" Mo Han asked with genuine curiosity.

Chi Kai laughed. "Well… it's partially true. Women here can drain essence. But the men you see around—they stay safe by being violent. Lily and her gang stood sulking in frustration. Most of the women were still cooking up desperate plans to snatch Mo Han away from Chi Kai.

But Lily… she was quietly seething. She couldn't stand the fact that Chi Kai, of all people, had paraded off with the one man who had previously resisted Lily's seduction.

"Sister Lily!" Sony, the short girl, came running and gasping for breath.

"What now?" Lily asked, her tone sharp and irritable.

"Sister Lily… I saw that fat guy! The same one who escaped from me during the Burning Sun Peak recruitment! I'm sure he's connected to that handsome guy!"

"What did you just say?" Lily asked, eyes narrowing.

"Why don't we go capture the fat fellow and interrogate him? If we confirm he's linked to new guy, we might be able to use him to lure the guy away from Chi Kai!"

Before Sony could finish, Lily had already stood up and stormed toward the entrance gate.

The rest of the gang followed in confusion.

"She didn't say a word…" murmured the long-haired woman.

But all of them understood one thing—Lily had no intention of letting Chi Kai enjoy her victory for long.
