NOVEL NEXT Chapter 1246: Plant Monster Queen Crown

I ended up being dragged into the middle of dozens of plant monsters! Although it wouldn't be completely impossible to defeat them with a lot of Fire, Ice, and Lightning, we've gathered more than enough monster corpses and cores, so I wanted to try something different and recruit them!
However, contracting them with me wouldn't be a good thing either, as it was shown with Mark, a soul wears down once enough contracts are made. I want something similar to the loyalty spirits have towards me and perhaps other beasts would within my Domain.
And I think Loki has found the cheat code for that, as she showed me that by feeding them her sap, they became more loyal, it is as if by getting them to like the sap they also like me and depend on me.
It is full of nutrients, so maybe it could help them survive, and that's the primary goal of most species. Seeing how they all gathered together in here, it means they have created a symbiotic bond to be able to survive together in this world.
"Shishishi!"
Loki pointed at her roots once more and then at the plants, and then at me.
"I know what you mean Loki, calm down. I'll do that then."
I quickly turned my hand into complete wood, to the surprise of Olivia.
"S-So you can turn your entire flesh into wood as well? How amazing, that's a high level of polymorphing!" she said. "You also know such magics?"
"Yes, yes Olivia…" I was growing a bit tired of her getting surprised about everything. I don't think I am that amazing, right? I mean she's pretty incredible herself, she should be less humble and not be surprised all the time.
Anyways, after turning my arm into wood, I grew it into several branches through my Physique Abilities and my Spells that helped me create, combine, or turn into wood.
The wood of my hand wasn't brown though, it was of a pale gray, if not slightly whiteish color, like ash itself.
I quickly spread it into many branches and used a small knife to crave through the branches, it hurt a little bit, but not that much.
Crack, crack…!
Once small holes were made, sweet golden-colored sap started pouring from the over ten different branches I made.
The plant monsters instantly gathered around me, flocking to taste the sap.
"Ooohh!"
"Graahh?"
"Giiiihh!"
They were all making very funny noises, but I believe they were enjoying it! They drank to their heart's contents as I turned my own blood into sap.
It was slightly tiring, but after I've grown so strong, it wasn't hard to restore my own blood, I'll probably eat a lot later to get all the energy again.
"Okay, that's enough!"
I quickly recovered back my arm, and the plant monsters seemed to want more and more, their bodies had grown larger after drinking so much sap full of magic and nutrients.
"Shiiiiii!"
However, Loki quickly hissed at them, calming them down. Their Auras quickly responded by growing smaller, and then, they all gathered together towards her.
A thread of green and gold was connected to her, which then she placed over my head, forming a small crown made of wood merged into my flesh and skin.
What is even going on anymore?
"Huh?"
FLAAASH!
And before I knew it, Loki was gone, her summoning already having ended. However, the plant monsters didn't try to attack us, they remained in silence in front of me.
"Oh! I think it worked somehow… I just have no idea what she did." I said.
"Maybe the crown signifies you're their queen or something?" Rita asked.
"Ooh! I think that's it!" Lily nodded, clapping. "Well done Elayne!"
"Yeah, that was amazing, though I don't even know what even happened," nodded Elena.
"I wish I could know more, but yeah it was strange," I said.
"Hmm, do you feel any different?" asked Jenny.
"Yeah, do you?" asked Anna.
"Nah I'm fine, don't worry girls," I said with a smile. "Olivia, I think we're done."
"Y-You are? But what about the monster plants?" Olivia asked.
"I think I can do this now… I somehow feel it, this crown that Loki left within me is special," I said.

Oooh! So that's a thing now? I can somehow "store" these monsters inside of me? It does sound a bit freaky in a way, but also quite interesting.
But aside from the weird part, this'll make it easy for transportation!
Also the crown became a Physique Ability somehow? That's interesting! I never thought I could get them in such strange and derived ways.
Maybe I should try doing more experimentations of these things later then.
"Anyways, I think I can bring them along like this!" I said to Olivia, transforming my internal body into wood and plants while my appearance outside remained normal.

All Monsters suddenly were literally absorbed into my own body, as if space itself was distorted and they were sucked inside of me.
It was as if their bodies had become tiny seeds that were deposited within my wooden skin, I could hardly feel them at all.
"Y-You…?! You stored them inside your own body…" Olivia muttered. "Oh my, Elayne, you sure have an assortment of incredible abilities. You're the first of your kind I've seen!"
"My kind?" I wondered.
"Yes, you're a Sage!" she said. "Aren't you?"
