Bound sovereign: Reincarnated with the lust system

Chapter 20: PIERCING LIGHT

NEXT MORNING...

Eran jolted faintly, a twitch in his chest dragging him out of heavy sleep. His breath caught, his body still aching from the night before, yet what truly shocked him awake was the heat wrapped around his cock.

"Mmmhhh…"

He groaned low, head tilting down, and there she was. Selene.

Her robes clung to her form, the perfect Ice-Serpent professor ready for the academy. Every fold was in place, her gown hugging her curves with austere discipline, her mantle flowing around her shoulders yet beneath all that, on her knees by the bed, her lips glided wet and slow along his shaft.

Slrk… glck… slrk…

Her cheeks hollowed, her lashes fluttering low. When her eyes flicked up to him, shimmering with secret heat, her lips stretched into the faintest smile around his cock.

Eran blinked, still caught between sleep and disbelief. "You're… already dressed?"

She let his length slip free with a wet pop, saliva glistening down her chin, and chuckled, voice hushed and raw.

"Of course. I can't neglect the role they all expect of me."

Then her tongue flicked over his tip, and she swallowed him again with a sinful moan. Glckk…shlk…

Eran's hand drifted lazily to the window, pushing it open. Morning light poured in, golden and cruel, spilling across the bed. He squinted against it, a smirk tugging his lips. "I'm not even in my own chamber…"

Selene's mouth worked faster, her robe swaying faintly as she moved. She pulled back, licking him clean with slow strokes of her tongue, her voice husky.

"You don't need to rush. Let them wait. Clean yourself after I leave, then come later when you're ready. I'll handle what must be handled until you arrive."

Her smile lingered, soft and broken beneath the Ice-Serpent mask. Her fingers stroked his base, coaxing another twitch out of him as she whispered, "But don't keep me waiting too long… Eran."

Eran's breath hitched as Selene drew back, lips glistening, chin wet with his taste. She wiped it delicately with the back of her hand, then leaned in, her hair brushing against his thigh.

Her voice was low, almost a purr. "Last night…" She let the words hang, her eyes heavy-lidded. "It was…" Her lips parted, the faintest quiver touching them. "Belov—"

Her emerald eyes widened, glassy with the slip, and she stopped herself. Her gaze darted up to meet his, catching the way his smirk deepened. A faint smile curved her lips as she corrected softly, "…Eraaaan."

The way she dragged his name was its own caress.

Eran chuckled, the sound rough in his throat. "Slipping already? Careful… or they'll see more than the Ice-Serpent today."

Her cheeks flushed crimson, though her smile never faded. "Hmph. Watch your tongue," she teased, but her voice betrayed a tremor, like she wanted to say more and dared not.

He leaned back on the sheets, studying her as she rose gracefully to her feet. Every motion was deliberate, controlled yet he could see the faint aftershiver in her thighs, the trace of last night still burning in her body. Her gown clung to her like water poured over marble, accentuating every curve. The robe flowed long behind her, sweeping the floor in clean arcs as she moved toward the door.

At the threshold, she paused, turning her head just slightly. That faint, serene smile crossed her lips, practiced for the world, but softer for him.

"Don't be late," she whispered.

The door clicked shut behind her, and Eran was left with nothing but the echo of her steps, the lingering heat of her mouth, and that slip of a word that refused to leave his mind.

Beloved.

His smirk returned, sharper this time.

Eran let his head sink back against the pillow, the ghost of Selene's warmth still clinging to the sheets beside him. Her scent—sweet, sharp, faintly metallic.. lingered in the air, the reminder of last night's storm painted into the room itself.

And then...

Ding!

The system's voice slid into his skull like a silken blade.

SYSTEM NOTIFICATION!

The words burned bright across his vision, almost mocking in their neat lines... reminding him.

Eran exhaled slowly, a smile curling across his lips. So the system rewards carnal conquest as well as combat… His gaze shifted to the rumpled bed, where Selene's imprint still marked the sheets. The faint slick sheen glistening faintly at the corner of the mattress almost made him laugh.

He dragged a hand over his face, crimson still faint on his cheeks from how violently she had broken beneath him. Her gasps, her cries.. they rang in his ears, replaying themselves like the sweetest curse.

But then, unbidden, another face came into his mind.

Miyu.

Her cold eyes, her sharp tongue, her untouchable pride. He could see her standing tall in that lecture hall, chin raised as though no man alive was worthy to breathe the same air. Eran's smile deepened, darker now.

If Selene, the Serpent, melted so easily… then how much sweeter will Miyu taste when her pride finally cracks?

His fingers curled into the sheets. The thought of her lips trembling, her body twitching against her will, whispering his name with that same slip Selene had made Beloved.. it set a fire deep in his chest.

He chuckled low, shaking his head. "Soon… you'll beg without even realizing it."

The system purred faintly in response, as if acknowledging his vow.

He rose at last, stretching his arms until the joints cracked. His body was sore, but in the most satisfying way. His thighs still carried the dull ache of last night's relentless rhythm, and yet his core felt sharper, his mana steadier. Even his breathing came deeper, fuller, like every part of him had drunk from Selene's release.

Walking toward the window, he pushed the heavy curtain aside. The light of morning spilled across him in full, warm and accusing. He wasn't in his chamber. He wasn't even dressed. The academy was already stirring, he could hear the faint echoes of students moving through the courtyards, the distant chime of class bells.

He sighed, smirk tugging at his lips again. "Late, then. Let them bark."

Turning away, he moved to the wash basin, splashing the cold water over his face. It stung against his skin, grounding him. He stared into the warped surface of the mirror above it, his reflection smirking back, hair messy, eyes bright with that dangerous gleam.

The commoner who dares to sit among them, he thought, the words tasting of iron and defiance. Let them laugh now.

The memory of Selene's last glance.. soft, emerald, betraying something she herself hadn't meant to say—slid back into him like a whisper. Beloved.

He smirked wider.

Today, he would play the weakling again. they would mock and jeer. But today step by step, just as Selene had told him… he would build. And when the tower was high enough, all of them.. nobles, serpents, even proud Miyu herself would be his to break.

With that thought anchoring him, Eran dressed slowly, piece by piece, savoring the calm before the storm.
