Born Into Villain's Family: I Have a 200% Rebate System

Chapter 355: Revelation

Aurora's smile faded. Her eyes narrowed in confusion. "What do you mean?"

Olivia walked further into the room, her voice calm but tired.

"You can't be Light. Light is too famous, too powerful. You must have learned a trick or two, and now you are pretending. But it is dangerous. Light hates imposters. If the real Light finds out, she will be furious."

Aurora frowned deeply, her gaze steady and calm. "I am the real Light," she said firmly. "And if you want proof, I can show you."

Olivia raised her brows. "Proof? What do you mean?"

Aurora's fingers began to move. Faster than before, so fast that Olivia's eyes could hardly keep up. She typed lines of code, one after another, the screen flashing.

Olivia watched in horror as Aurora's screen shifted to another device. It was Eleanor's phone. Aurora had broken through the security in only seconds.

Lines of text appeared. Aurora opened Eleanor's messages. In less than a minute, she altered all of them, twisting every conversation.

Then she shifted back, and Olivia's own phone buzzed. She looked down and saw her own messages being changed in real time.

Olivia's hands shook. Her mouth opened but no words came out. She pointed at Aurora, her voice trembling. "You… you really are Light."

Aurora leaned back in her chair, folding her arms with a soft laugh.

"Now do you still want to say nonsense?" she asked, her voice playful but dangerous. "Because if you do, I might just kick you out."

Olivia's knees felt weak. She shook her head quickly, almost too fast. "No! No, I believe you now."

Aurora chuckled again, her lips curving into a smug smile.

"Good. Then remember. You are the first person who has ever discovered who I am. Do not waste that trust."

Olivia sat down on the edge of the bed, her chest rising and falling. She stared at Aurora, still unable to believe the truth.

Aurora turned back to her laptop, her fingers still moving gracefully.

"You wanted Light's help," she said calmly. "Now you have it."

Olivia could hardly believe what Aurora had just said. She took a deep breath, her chest rising and falling as she stared at her younger sister.

"Does anyone else know?" she asked in a quiet voice. Her tone was shaky, almost like she was afraid of the answer.

Aurora tapped her finger on the keyboard a few times, then stopped to think. Her dark eyes turned toward Olivia. She hesitated, then shook her head slowly.

"No. You are the only one who knows."

Olivia's heart thumped. She leaned back a little and let out a breath she had not realized she was holding. "So it really is just me…" she whispered.

For some reason, that truth made her chest feel heavy and warm at the same time. She was the only one trusted with this enormous secret.

Her eyes flickered with curiosity. She leaned forward again and said,

"I read somewhere online that Light's net worth is around twelve million dollars. Is it true?"

Aurora chuckled. She covered her mouth with her hand and shook her head. "That is not true."

Olivia let out a long sigh of relief.

"Good. For a second, I thought you had secretly become a millionaire. I mean, I would have been happy for you, but I would have been so worried too. With that much money, there are too many problems. People would come after you. There might even be traps laid for you just because of money." She placed her hand on her chest and tried to calm her racing thoughts.

Aurora looked at her calmly, her lips curling into a faint smile.

"You do not need to worry about that," she said softly. Then she leaned back in her chair and added,

"Because my net worth is not twelve million dollars. It is closer to twenty five million."

Olivia's eyes widened so much that they almost popped out. Her mouth opened and closed like a fish that had been pulled out of water. "What did you just say?"

Aurora nodded seriously. "And if things continue the way they are, it might reach fifty million soon."

Olivia felt her knees weaken. She pressed her palm to the side of the desk to keep from falling. Her throat went dry, and her voice came out in a whisper.

"We… we have a millionaire in our house. And that millionaire is you. And you are only seventeen!"

She shook her head in disbelief and asked quickly, "You are not lying, right?"

Aurora smirked, her eyes glittering with confidence. "I am not lying."

Olivia gulped and her emotions exploded. Her excitement was too much to contain.

Suddenly, without thinking, she dropped down on her knees in front of Aurora.

"My little sister has truly become so smart and amazing!" she cried. Her hands pressed together like she was praying.

Aurora rolled her eyes at the dramatic gesture, but she could not hide the smile tugging at her lips.

Olivia quickly pulled out her phone and said,

"Then I am going to shop however I want now. Finally, I can buy everything on my wishlist!"

Aurora shook her head and chuckled. With a flick of her fingers, she typed something on her laptop. A moment later, Olivia's phone buzzed. She picked it up and gasped.

Her bank account had increased by ten million dollars.

Her hands shook violently. The phone nearly slipped from her grip.

"What… what is this?" she stammered. Her heart raced as she tried to breathe properly.

Aurora smiled like it was nothing. "A gift."

Olivia let out a laugh that sounded too high-pitched.

"No, no, no! I was just joking! You cannot give me this kind of money!"

She fumbled with her phone, her fingers trying to press the buttons to transfer the money back.

Aurora leaned back in her chair, her eyes narrowing with amusement as she watched her sister panic.

But then something sparked in her mind. As she glanced at Olivia's shaking hands, her own eyes brightened.

Oh. She had just realized something.

She had Light, her second identity. With Light, she could give money to her siblings openly, without anyone questioning it.

They would not suspect anything strange. Why had she not thought of this before?

She crossed her arms and smirked.

Suddenly her phone let out a 'ding' and the next moment she received a message stating that 20 million dollars has been debited in her rebate account.

Meanwhile, Olivia was still panicking, her cheeks red. "I cannot accept this. It is your money. You worked for it."

Aurora reached out and patted Olivia's back softly. "You do not need to give it back."

Olivia shook her head firmly. Her eyes, normally playful and teasing, were now sharp with determination.

"No. I cannot take it. This is your hard work. Your risk. Your life. I cannot take advantage of you."

Aurora's smile faded a little. Her voice turned serious. "You have already given me a lot, Olivia."

Olivia blinked. "What do you mean?"

Aurora's tone softened.

"When I was in critical condition, it was you and our family who gave everything for me. All of you paid for my surgeries. All of you gave up money, comfort, and peace just so I could live. Even when I was a burden, none of you treated me badly. You cared for me."

Her lips curved upward into a teasing smile. "Though you did beat me often."

Olivia, who had been moved by the emotional speech, immediately froze.

"What did you say?!" she shouted, glaring at her younger sister.

Aurora lifted her hand quickly. "Fine, fine. Not beat. You just… showed your love in a very strange way."

She chuckled lightly. "But you were still my sister. And I want to make sure you never lack anything."

Olivia's throat tightened. For a moment, she truly felt that her younger sister had grown up. She had become mature, strong, and capable.

Tears pricked at her eyes. She took a deep breath, then smiled softly.

"That is very sweet. I am touched. But still, I cannot take the money."

Aurora nodded slowly. "Alright. Then I will take something else. I will take out the bone marrow you gave me and return it to you."

Olivia's eyes widened in shock. She slammed her hand on the desk and shouted, "Why are you even saying such a thing?!"

Aurora tilted her head and rolled her eyes. "So you really think I do not know?"

Olivia's heart skipped a beat. Her voice trembled. "Know what?"

Aurora's gaze grew steady and calm. "That you donated your bone marrow to me."

Olivia went pale. Her lips parted, but no words came out. She stared at Aurora as if she had seen a ghost.

Aurora, on the other hand, spoke in a quiet, steady tone.

"The family never told me. But I know that when I was very young, just a year old, I needed bone marrow. You were only two years older than me. The doctors advised against it because it would be painful for you. But you still did it."
