Born Into Villain's Family: I Have a 200% Rebate System

Chapter 353:

Eleanor sobbed softly as she showed the phone. "See? This is the truth. Olivia forced us. We had no choice."

The principal squinted, his anger still present but now mixed with suspicion. He leaned forward to look at the phone more closely.

Watching from Louis' phone screen, Olivia's hands clenched into fists. Her eyes burned with fury.

She had never sent such messages, and she knew Eleanor's so-called evidence was fake. But the scary part was how real it looked at first glance.

Louis' dark eyes narrowed as he continued to watch the live feed on his phone. He let out a soft laugh, though it was not full of humor.

"This proof she just showed is definitely fake," he said calmly.

Olivia blinked, stunned. "What?"

"Look," Louis said, tilting the phone so she could see Eleanor's screen more clearly.

"The video and messages do not flow naturally. They look forced. The edges of the video are uneven, the background shifts too strangely, and the messages were all created at once. This is not real. It is forged."

Olivia quickly unlocked her own phone. Her fingers shook slightly as she opened her chat interface. When the screen appeared, her heart stopped for a moment.

To her shock, the same messages really were there. They looked like they had been sent from her account. The same threats, the same video, everything.

Her throat went dry. "How… how is this possible?" she whispered.

Louis' expression turned serious for the first time since she met him. He crossed his arms and leaned closer.

"As long as someone hacked your app, they can insert anything they want. Messages, videos, timestamps… all of it can be changed. It would look like you sent them even though you did not. This is the work of a skilled hacker."

Olivia's eyes widened.

"Are you saying a hacker can change timestamps too? They can make it look like I sent something at a time when I never even touched my phone?"

Louis frowned and nodded.

"Yes. If they can access the app's inner data, then nothing is impossible. Timestamps, sender ID, even the whole conversation can be edited. Eleanor must have hacked your account. That is the only explanation."

But then his brows furrowed. He tilted his head in thought.

"Still… this raises a question. How did Eleanor know she and Mateo would get caught today? Why did she already prepare this kind of fake evidence? It is too precise. Too clean. She must have known in advance."

Olivia's chest tightened as she listened. She also did not understand.

How could Eleanor just pull out perfect proof at the exact moment they were accused? It made no sense. Olivia's fists clenched tightly at her sides.

She turned to Louis, her voice firm. "Do you have any hackers working under you? Someone who can prove this is fake?"

Louis paused, his expression shifting slightly. Then he shook his head.

"Unfortunately, my family's business has offended most of the big hacker groups. They will not work for us. Finding a hacker who would agree to help will be… difficult."

Olivia's shoulders dropped. For a moment, a heavy silence filled the air.

On the live feed, the principal's angry voice rang out again.

"Enough! I do not care about your excuses. These messages will be verified. If they are real, we will punish Olivia. But if they are false, then Mateo and Eleanor, you will both be expelled without hesitation!"

The room inside the feed fell into silence. Olivia's heart pounded in her chest. Her name had been dragged into the mud without reason, and she could not even explain herself yet.

How could Eleanor create such convincing evidence so quickly? It was unnatural.

She bit her lip in frustration. Her mind kept spinning with the same question over and over.

Louis noticed her stiff shoulders. He reached out gently and patted her on the shoulder.

His tone softened. "I am sorry. This is my fault. If I had not interfered earlier, you would not have been dragged into this."

Olivia shook her head immediately.

"No. You are wrong. Even if you did not report them, Eleanor would have done this someday. She clearly has some strange power or ability to make fake evidence appear on the spot. Next time, I might not even have a chance to defend myself. At least now the principal is giving us time. We can still look for proof."

Her voice was firm, though her eyes still showed her worry.

Louis chuckled softly, the corners of his lips curling. "You are smart, Olivia. Smarter than I expected."

Olivia rolled her eyes and muttered, "Now is not the time for compliments." But deep down, she was touched by his words.

Without wasting another second, Olivia pulled out her phone and quickly made a call. The line rang twice before a voice picked up on the other end.

"Hello?" the voice asked.

"Listen," Olivia said quickly. "Does your team have any hackers? Or connections to hackers?"

The person on the other side went silent. After a long pause, they answered, "We do have hackers. But it depends on what kind of request you are making."

Olivia took a deep breath. She explained everything that had happened.

How Eleanor and Mateo were caught, how fake messages appeared on her phone, and how the principal demanded proof.

The line went quiet again. Finally, the voice said,

"What you are describing… this is higher than what our hackers can handle. If you want to expose this, you will need someone far more skilled. Someone like… Light."

Olivia froze. Her heart skipped a beat. "Light?" she whispered.

"Yes," the voice confirmed.

"The famous hacker. The one who exposed dozens of criminals and destroyed their hidden empires. Light is on another level. But Light is also very aloof. They never help without reason. Unless you can convince them, it will be almost impossible."

Olivia's lips tightened. She had heard of Light before.

Everyone had. Stories of the hacker's legendary skills were all over the internet. But she also knew Light never got involved in personal matters.
