Chapter 984 984 Hunting
Chapter 984 984 Hunting
"Show me my character sheet, Nancy." These were our bored gamer's first action in the day.
It was a bright new morning outside and he was already out before his usual time to scour some more evil points. This was a testament to his will to finish off this world as fast as he can.
"Affirmative, host!" Nancy replied almost immediately as if she was reading the mind of our very own protagonist.
"DING!"

"Almost there." Clark was happy with his progress so far. He had learned no techniques whatsoever and just focused on upgrading his cultivation base.
He only needed might and magic to spell doom to his enemies and so the techniques were not required at the moment.
The daos he could manipulate at the moment with his cultivation base was more than enough to one hit those cultivators below in power level compared to him.
"Time to get me more of them evil points!" Our bored gamer said and he was thrilled to do just that.
"BANG!" He went outside with his improved retinue in tow and the rest was history.

"Make way and open up! Don't you know that my master is visiting today?! You should all be on your knees and beg for your life before you lose it needlessly!"
The remains of a shattered gate preluded these haughty words in the mix. The owner of these words was an old man wearing plain white robes.
Still, the aura of his body denoted that he was a respected powerhouse in his own right. It would be suicide to affront such a considerable opponent in the field.
At least this was how this poor clan guards analysed the situation.
"Summon the Elders quickly!"
"We are under attack!"
"It's the Wen Family!"
"They dare!"
"Open the Light and Dark Defensive Formation at once!"
"Chop off their heads for me!" A melee of conflicting emotions and voices rang over the clan grounds.
What was not surprising was that no one possessed the balls to kill themselves off for free by barging into the personal space of old Wen Patriarch.
"DING!" A huge barrier sprang into play and it was made of both epic dark and pure light. It covered the clan grounds in a massive display of qi.
A spectacular pentagram appeared on all sides before everything else returned to its original state.
Nonetheless, the hum of power and suppression signified well enough that something big has happened in the immediate area.
"You may begin the siege, boy." Clark ordered like a true commander. He beckoned for a high chair and Lady Wu Tian's maidservant Ming'er dragged one from her storage ring.
It was obvious that this little girl also had a humble cultivation base to be proud of.
A slight pink covered her face as she looked at our good gamer when she remembered the words of her young lady the night before.
'If the Lord has accepted the Lady's offer, I should have been already a woman through and through. I wonder how would that feel like?"
Ming'ers blush deepened even further as she imagined herself getting ploughed roughly all night. What happened next woke her up from her delusions.
"BANG!"
"BANG!"
"BANG!" The heavy mighty fist of an old man rocked the formation and tested its limits to the extreme.
"Snow Canopy Secret Art!" Patriarch Wen whispered but his voice seemed to burst the eardrums of everyone nearby. This was even more punishing unto the target of his technique.
"BOOM!" A blanket of white snow melted in the scene and it transformed into millions of fists in an instant. This barrage covered the land and everything else beyond.
"HELP!"
"Don't kill us!" The millions of normal people of the city could not help but cry out loud when they had an illusion of being crushed into a pulpy mess because of promise of desolation that threatened their senses.
Luckily for them, Patriarch Wen's target was only the defensive formation before him.
"BOOM!"
"BOOM!"
"BOOM!" And so the siege started in full. It continued for 10 minutes straight before something else happened.
"WHOOSH!" A giant sword sliced through the snow white punches and completely shattered them into pieces. The mar in the sky continued to fall until it was directly atop the head of old Wen.
If it had stricken down further, it would have no doubt decapitated the old man's head from the rest of his body. Alas, the unstoppable sword art vanished just before it could accomplish its intended target.
"GULP!" Old Wen swallowed a healthy saliva down his throat since he realized that he would have died without him knowing.
He looked at our bored gamer and realized that his master never lifted a finger to help him at all. It was the sword caster herself that dispelled the technique before it could kill him as easily as breathing itself.
"This is a surprise. It appears that you have found yourself a patron, Wen Zhelan." A melodious voice resounded all over the city.
This voice came through before a figure of her body even had to grace everyone's eyes.
"It's City Lord Lu!"
"She's come to save us all!"
"Long live the City Lord!" The normies rejoiced at this entrance. The legend and myth of the City Lord has graced Nomery City for tens of thousands of years already.
Thus, the populace had absolute faith unto this great character.
"We do what we must." Patriarch Wen replied and wisely blinked away from the forefront. This time around he smartly placed himself behind the sitting form of our very own protagonist.
His actions spoke volumes about his allegiance.
"Interesting. A traveller. Someone from out of this continent. You are far away from home, Fellow Daoist." The unseen female voice commented as she divined the origins of our bored gamer.
"Oh… It seems like I have found my first mate on this world." Clark replied. His eyes pierced unto the distant hiding spot of the female speaker and unveiled all shadows and illusions of the act.
He stood up from his throne and prepared himself for the hunting process.
