NOVEL NEXT New Story Is Out
Hi, I'm back. New story is out, with 20 chapters and 50k words upfront. I've added a link to the pre-chapter note.
I've tried taking feedback from 'To Devour The Crawling Gods' and addressed their issues. This was a work that had been going on in the background for a while, so I was well aware of 'To Devour the Crawling God' failings by that point.
The story is more focused on the main character, both in his power progression and his character growth. Side characters are still around, but they are far fewer, and they serve to narratively support the MC, while hopefully still retaining the uniqueness that made them special in my previous work.
Progression is far faster both in plot and power, unlike in 'To Devour The Crawling Gods'. The character starts as a child, but quickly grows over the first few chapters with time skips. I've also heavily avoided interludes, lengthy expositions, and multiple chapters spent on a single 'in-story' day. (So no more 50-Chapters Acts that revolve around events on the same day; story progresses over days and weeks when it's not using multi-year time-skips).

Worldbuilding is more moderated, but I wrote with the intention to preserve the mystery and scale from 'To Devour The Crawling Gods'. No more post-chapter exposition; this time, the worldbuilding is intertwined with the story telling.
The story is technically a LITRPG, but the progression is more reminiscent of Xianxia. Kind of. In case you're worried, I've made sure to prioritise the story's plot over System numbers/jargon so that a fast-paced narrative flow is preserved.
As for fight scenes, there's going to be more of them. If you enjoyed the few written in 'To Devour The Crawling Gods', you are probably going to like the ones here.
As for romance, there won't be any in the early chapters (for reasons that will be obvious). That will come later. Once again, if you liked what 'To Devour The Crawling Gods' offered, you can look forward to more of it down the line in future chapters.
I will be uploading 20 chapters on the first day. That's 50k+ words of content right from the start, so there's no need to wait for it to build up. After that, I will be posting chapters daily.
