Chapter 49
Wu's gang members were either holding down Bai Ying'er or fantasizing about their turn next.
They didn't notice that Qin Qi had already stealthily approached from behind!
"Die for me!"
Qin Qi smashed a brick onto the back of Wu's head.
Wu was struck hard with the brick, and with a thud, fell to the ground.
However, he didn't pass out like in the movies but instead turned around, shocked, looking at Qin Qi, "Where did this bastard come from!"
"Brother!"
Bai Ying'er, upon seeing Qin Qi, immediately displayed a joyful glow in her eyes.
Upon hearing Bai Ying'er call him brother, Wu quickly became clear-headed, "Oh, you've come to save her. Just alone? Guys, kill him for me!"
In the next moment, several of Wu's gang members charged directly at Qin Qi.
Qin Qi knew he couldn't withstand a hard fight, so he quickly retreated, adopting a strategy focused on delay.
However, these gang members weren't pushovers; within moments, they flanked him on both sides, trying to forcibly pin Qin Qi to the ground.
Seeing this, Qin Qi was quick and agile, first dodging the attack from a gang member on the left.
Then, he smashed a brick onto the head of the gang member coming from the right.
"Ah!"
A cry of agony escaped from that gang member's mouth.
Without a word, Qin Qi repeatedly smashed his head with bricks, only stopping once the guy was bleeding and completely incapacitated, then stood up.
"Damn you!"
The other gang members weren't pushovers either, and were ready to come at Qin Qi right away.
But Qin Qi's reaction was exceptionally quick.
So quick that even he was surprised at himself.
"Is my speed really this fast?" Qin Qi thought to himself.
Initially, he intended to be surrounded and beaten up until Tang Xueli's people or the police arrived.
He had some fighting experience since childhood, but never imagined that he could knock down one of them without getting hurt despite being surrounded.
"How does it feel after the physical enhancement?" The mysterious woman's playful voice echoed in Qin Qi's mind.
Qin Qi suddenly realized something.
The mysterious woman had mentioned before that conquering a woman would enhance his body to some extent.
He hadn't expected the change to be so significant.
Realizing he was more powerful than expected, Qin Qi immediately gained more confidence.
Spotting an approaching gang member, he smashed him with a brick, then kicked him hard in the stomach.
With that kick, the guy fell clutching his stomach, unable to get up.
"Damn!" Wu looked astonished.
He couldn't believe Qin Qi could fight so well.
Wu pulled out a flashy knife from somewhere, holding it ready to strike when his gang members kept Qin Qi distracted.
Within a moment, Qin Qi had taken down three gang members.
Seizing the opportunity, Wu lunged with the knife, "Kid, die now!"
"Brother, watch out!" Bai Ying'er reacted, opening her lips to shout anxiously.
Though Qin Qi reacted in time, he hadn't prepared adequately.
Even though he instinctively dodged, the knife still stabbed into his arm.
He felt the pain immediately, but it was followed by a surge of astonishing rage. He punched Wu hard on the head in return.
Wu, already injured, fell to the ground, losing his combat ability again.
The remaining two gang members, looking at Qin Qi, were filled with disbelief.
This Qin Qi seemed young, yet unexpectedly skilled at fighting.
Tang Xueli, hidden on the side, also widened her eyes, her gaze glowing.
"Amazing..."
By now, Qin Qi was fighting relentlessly.
The adrenaline brought by the blood made him forget the pain, rushing towards the two remaining gang members.
Tang Xueli seized the moment, quickly running to Bai Ying'er, helping her untie the ropes.
"Ying'er, it's over!" Tang Xueli held the vulnerable Bai Ying'er in her arms.
Bai Ying'er clung tightly to Tang Xueli, feeling a substantial sense of security.
At this moment, the rigid relationship between the two noticeably eased.
Both were staring at Qin Qi unblinkingly.
Their eyes filled with surprise, awe, and a gradually deepening admiration!
Meanwhile, Qin Qi took about two to three minutes to knock down the remaining two gang members.
Then he realized that a knife was still stuck in his arm.
"Clatter!"
Qin Qi tossed the knife to the ground.
"Darn, that hurts!"
Before he could think, Bai Ying'er rushed towards him with tearful eyes, both scared and grateful.
She wrapped herself around Qin Qi's waist, hugging him tightly, fearing losing someone extremely important once she let go.
Qin Qi patted Bai Ying'er on the head, "All right, be good. It's over now!"
Only then did Bai Ying'er let go of Qin Qi reluctantly.
Her eyes still showed some grievance, but more than that was pure admiration for Qin Qi.
Qin Qi knew that maybe at this moment, he truly conquered Bai Ying'er.
