Bloodstained Oath: English

Chapter 9: Battle Of Eldoria

The morning sky appeared grim, as if the universe held its breath, waiting for the inevitable fate to unfold. Eldoria, once sought as a sanctuary, had now transformed into a battlefield. The Crimson Blades stood at the forefront, led by Caelum, clad in gleaming silver armor—a symbol of their leadership, but also a burden heavier than the metal itself. It wasn't just his life at stake, but the future of the entire rebellion, a hope tied to every piece of armor he wore.

Before them stood the Imperial forces, the Black Guard, renowned for their brutality. They were neatly organized, like a merciless war machine. Zarek, their commander, stood at the front, his massive axe gleaming sharply in his hands, ready to crush all who opposed the Empire, as if this war was a fate that could not be avoided.

Caelum gazed at the gleaming Raedan sword in his hand, gathering strength in silence. His firm voice broke the tension, speaking to the fighters facing him with determined gazes, "We are not just fighting for ourselves, but for those who have fallen. We fight for a better future—for freedom."

A burning spirit ignited in the eyes of every member, not just for revenge or freedom, but for a world yet to be realized—a world they dreamed of, though shrouded in the mist of uncertainty.

---

The assault came faster than anticipated. Elira, the leader of the archers, signaled. Fire arrows shot into the air, creating a rain of fire that struck the Imperial forces, who began advancing with confident steps. Daryn and Torren led the close-quarters troops, slipping through with incredible speed, like shadows darting between the enemy formations. Caelum stood among them, Raedan sword raised high, as if calling for destiny.

However, the Imperial forces did not stand still. Zarek led his men with unmatched brute strength. His axe swung, crushing everything in its path. The Black Guard moved with precision, as if nothing could halt their momentum. The sound of metal clashing with metal, blood mixing with the dust of the battlefield, created a symphony of destruction.

Caelum knew this battle was not just about fighting. It was a grander game of chess—a game that could only be won with cunning and patience.

---

The Crimson Blade forces and the rebels were well-trained in combat, but to face the larger Imperial forces, they needed more than just bravery. Caelum understood that victory was not determined solely by physical strength, but by the right tactics and decisive choices.

"Daryn, take your forces to their right flank! Use the terrain to circle them. Torren, get ready behind them. We need to break their formation!" Caelum commanded, his voice filled with calculation.

Daryn nodded, his troops flowing through the rough terrain, unstoppable like a river. Torren moved quickly, bringing a portion of the forces to support a counterattack.

"Strike in the center!" Caelum shouted, his eyes sharp, observing every movement. "Don't let them form ranks!"

He knew that behind Zarek's brutal strength, the Imperial forces had a weakness—their leader himself. Without Zarek, their forces would splinter, adrift without direction. Caelum focused on one thing: destroying their center of power.

---

While Daryn and Torren fought to break the Imperial ranks, Caelum pushed forward towards Zarek. Zarek saw him coming and laughed cynically, "You want to be a hero? Come, prove you're more than just a rebel dog!"

Caelum didn't respond to the words. He focused solely on one thing: this fight must end quickly. His sword gleamed brightly, hinging the fate of the battle on one strike. Zarek swung his massive axe with incredible speed, but Caelum dodged with agility, leaping to the side and striking with the Raedan sword at Zarek's flank. But Zarek only grinned, his axe spinning rapidly to block the blow.

Caelum continued to strike, patient, not rushing. Each strike was measured, like a tactic carefully thought out. Zarek, though well-trained, began to show signs of fatigue. Caelum's sword found gaps in his defense, slowly but surely.

With a powerful movement, Caelum knocked Zarek's massive axe to the ground, and swiftly struck. Zarek fell with a loud crash, his body jolting. As Zarek screamed, his soldiers, witnessing their leader's fall, began to waver. Zarek's defeat became an inevitable turning point—the Imperial forces began to lose their direction, their morale shattered.

---

With Zarek fallen, the Crimson Blade fighters launched a counterattack, breaking the enemy's wavering formation. Daryn led his forces, chasing down the retreating enemies, confusion in their wake. Elira and Carl fired arrows, destroying the enemy's strategic positions.

Caelum directed his forces with deep calm. He used the battlefield to his advantage, splitting the Imperial forces with perfectly executed maneuvers.

---

The battle finally reached a decisive turning point. The Imperial forces, losing their leader and their confidence, began to retreat, realizing they could no longer win against the increasingly organized and coordinated rebel forces. The Crimson Blade, along with the rebels, seized the momentum, chasing down the retreating forces and claiming a vital victory.

However, even though this victory felt sweet, Caelum knew it was not the end of their struggle. The Raedan sword, still firmly gripped in his hand, now felt heavier than ever. This victory was only the beginning of the long journey they had to endure.

With blood staining the earth and sweat dripping down, Caelum stood amidst the battlefield, watching the Imperial forces retreat. "This is not over," he said softly, his voice full of resolve, almost like a whisper from a future full of battles. "There are many more wars we must face."

Their first victory was the beginning of something bigger. A first step toward a goal unimaginable.
