Blood Warlock in Danmachi

For the next 2 weeks Sanguinius continuous with his usual daily routine of training his combat skills and diving into the dungeon but this time with the addition of Welf following along in his training and dives

Every day they compete against each other in sword skills rapidly improving their technique and skills along with lots of physical training "Hey are you sure this will make us stronger" asked Welf while running around a mountain with weights strapped to his back, his face flushed with blood showing his exertion 

"Yeah but it will take some time for this type of training to show effect, gaining Excelia isn't only about fighting monsters in the dungeon" replied Sanguinius with a similar flushed face as they have been training for a while already 

Strapped to Sanguiniuse's back is significantly more weight due to him being a lot stronger as a level 2 compared to a level 1. This type of training is meant to mainly help increase their endurance so that they don't tire out easily while in the dungeon and have to take fewer brakes in between floors

Sitting down in a makeshift tent with Welf, Sanguinius washes the sweat from his face with a towel and drinks some water "How much progress have you made in what I asked you for last time"

"Oh you mean that barbell and those dumbbells, I haven't finished it yet as It is unlike anything I have ever made, it requires a special forging method that I still need to practice with but they should be ready in maybe a week or less"

Satisfied with the reasoning Sanguinius discusses in-depth with Welf on how he would like this new project to progress feeling a sense of excitement at getting closer to bringing modern workout equipment to this magical world 

If this project ends up successful it would revolutionize how adventures train themselves in Orario along with modern-day training methodologies adventures would find a safer and more secure way to grow stronger without risking their life daily in the dungeon.

Of course, this would only work for lower-level adventurers as the higher-level ones are too powerful to feel any strain even with magically enhanced metals but even then this would increase the number of level 2 and higher adventures over a long period.

After discussing with Welf for some time, Sanguinius parted ways with him so that he could get ready for the Denatus, which would be around four hours from now.

The first thing on his agenda is finding a suit as the Denatus is a highly formal event where everybody is very well dressed and well groomed which leads him to call Rose to help him find something suitable.

She has become his go-to when it comes to matters related to fashion or social gatherings, always helping him choose what would look the best in every given situation.

Meeting her she asks him what requirements he has for his suit resulting in him giving a sly smile and saying that he would like it to have some form of red as it is his favourite colour.

Rose nods and then starts leading him to every tailor shop in Orario looking for something that matches his body size and looks satisfactory. 

"Merlot, garnet, and blush red is a no, ruby red maybe but it doesn't match" mutters Rose under her breath, taking this very seriously by making Sanguinius wear different combinations of suit jackets, trousers, waistcoats, and ties she can tell which ones will work well together and what colours will look best.

They run around Orario for a couple of hours and eventually find the suit that Sanguinius will be wearing for the Denatus it consists of a bright crimson suit jacket and tie along with dark red trousers and a black waistcoat.

Putting on the final touches Sanguinius takes a step back and admires himself in the mirror "Wow Rose you really outdid yourself this looks great, it really grabs attention while also being easy on the eyes"

"Thanks but It wouldn't have taken this long if the tailer shops had more clothing that matches your size, I recommend you buy some tailor-made suits for any future Denatuses and other gatherings so that we don't have to go through all this again"

Agreeing he orders some custom-made suits after getting his measurements taken and then leaves for the Denatus alone because it is usually only for the Gods and some Familia members others aren't invited 

The Denatus is held on the 30th floor of Babel which easily breaks through the clouds and overlooks Orario.

Entering the 30th-floor Sanguinius witnesses a large gathering of Gods and their children interacting freely with wine or other food in their hands almost seeming to be a ball instead of a meeting to discuss the recent happenings in Orario.

He walks around the floor observing all the different types of gods until he eventually locks eyes with Freya causing him to smell a familiar scent and be reminded to 3 months ago when he first came to Orario

Approaching him Freya flashes him a smile " Looking good that suit matches you well"

"Likewise Goddess you are looking even more eye-catching than usual" compliments Sanguinius while eyeing her crimson red dress feeling that it is a lucky coincidence that their attires happen to match so well.

"Ganesha has really put in a lot of effort this time for this Denatus, everything with him always has to be a little more than you would expect" spoke Freya while being uncharacteristically not followed by Ottar due to him being busy with a matter regarding the dungeon at this time.

Tapping her shoulder Sanguinius whispers in her ear that he would like to ask her something personal.

They move to a more Private area where Sanguinius readies himself "Goddess do you perhaps have a hidden identity as a waitress within the Hostess of Fertility?"

Surprised Freya's eyes widen and she asks him how he came to that leading to him saying that he could smell that her divine Blood smells the same as Syr Flova from the Hostess of Fertility which should be theoretically impossible 

Making sure nobody is watching Freya leans forward " Yes Syr Flova is my alter ego but I would like you to keep it to yourself, the fewer people that know the better"

Accepting that he feels relieved after solving the mystery of why the most powerful Goddess in Orario came to recruit a random boy who only recently arrived in Orario, all this time he always felt that maybe she somehow knew of his otherworldly origins and was only biding her time

Suddenly a loud sound catches the attention of everyone on the 30th Floor causing them to focus on a man with an elephant mask standing in the middle of the floor.

I …. AM.... GENESHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

"Well that's one way to introduce yourself," thought Sangunius before focusing on what the man in the elephant mask had to say

"WELCOME EVERYONE!! I have been assigned as the host and mediator for today's event ARE YOU READY!!"

Everyone on the floor as if entranced by his energy loudly exclaim that they are ready for what's up next

"First up is the talented new recruit of the Ikelos Familia Draven known for his skill in the dagger and speed which few can rival, what would be a suitable alias for an assassin like him?"

The Gods start bantering among each other, each of them offering up their own aliases some better than others with some of the Gods offering joking or condescending names. 

Eventually, after lots of discussions they agree upon a suitable alias or a name that matches their unique sense of humour for each adventurer that has levelled up within the last 3 months 

At last, Ganesha finally arrives upon Sanguinius "For our last adventurer we have the obscure and new adventurer Sanguinius Void from the Freya Familia who only registered as an adventurer 3 months ago and leveled up after 2"

"WHAT that's absurd"

"How is that possible!!"

"Are you maýbe mistaken Ganesha?"

The Gods and even their children are shocked by what Ganesha has said each one of them being in disbelief at his achievement.

"Be not mistaken my fellow Gods this has been proofed and double checked, it is as real as can be"

Having to accept the fact that Ganesha was not mistaken the only feeling left within the hearts of the Gods is a sense of deep Jealousy at Freya for having caught yet another talent before anyone else could even act.

Freya takes the silence as her que raising her hand she suggests that his level 2 alias be The Blood Warlock

Every other God is either too shocked or afraid of going against Freya leading to them unanimously agreeing on the Blood Warlock as his alias with only a couple of exceptions. 

On the other side of the floor, Ishtar can be seen tightening her hands in anger causing her wineglass to break while wearing an unsightly expression before exiting the Denatus early with her entourage following her into the darkness of the evening.

Similarly, Allan Fromel can be seen with hidden anger in his eyes and closed fists even after knowing that it is his own Familia member who leveled up "Tsk! Just another obstacle"

After this Sanguinius has become well known across Orario bringing with it lots of Opportunities but even more Danger
