Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 146: Memory of the Deity

The Holy Emblem of the Ring Cross slowly emerged behind "Haral," then gradually transformed, finally mutating into a golden sun symbol.

The platinum Divine Power was dazzling, showing no signs of decline despite the change in the Holy Emblem.

The Divine Power, originally controlled by Charlotte, suddenly reversed, transforming into chains that confined the deity, completely sealing Charlotte. High up in the sky, the golden-haired "Haral" once again raised the Moon Godhood in his hand:

"My dear 'teacher,' it's all... over."

Silver Divine Power erupted suddenly, and the Moon Dream Heart emitted an ethereal yet dangerous glow, pulling this world into the Illusion Dream World full of various illusions.

The Silver Moon hanging in the sky cast its clear moonlight, turning everything it touched to stone, and Charlotte's body gradually took on a gray hue as the crimson glow slowly dimmed.

In just a moment, Charlotte turned into a stone statue under that moonlight.

Moon Seal!

This is the most powerful sealing Divine Spell of the Moon Dream Heart, capable of depriving and sealing the vitality of any being bathed in moonlight, turning them into Moon Stones with "Magic Prohibition" attributes.

"Haral" looked indifferently at the lifeless Charlotte, then slowly walked forward.

The platinum glow gathered in his hand, gradually forming a golden dagger. The dagger was etched with intricate patterns that were dizzying to even glance at.

Blade of Punishment!

This God Slaying Divine Artifact, crafted by the Divine Royal Court, is a replica of the Sea King Trident. While it doesn't possess the God Slaying power of the Trident that reaches to the roots, it can easily send a deity into Eternal Sleep.

Of course, its most powerful ability isn't "God Slaying," but "Deprivation," allowing its wielder to strip anything they wish from other deities—this is the artifact of the Creator God punishing the Sin God in the myths of Mireya Continent!

Only seen "Haral" lifting the Blade of Punishment, stabbing it into Charlotte's chest!

Centered on the Blade of Punishment, tiny cracks spread across the stone statue that Charlotte had become, and crimson halos flowed like water along the cracks, glinting with gold specks—that was the erupting "Divine Blood."

"Haral" calmly carved out the chest of the stone statue, then extracted a constantly pulsing crimson crystal.

That was Charlotte's Blood Godhood.

"Finally got you..."

Looking at the burning Divine Fire within the Blood Godhood, "Haral" displayed a satisfied expression.

But the next second, he froze instantly.

Crimson glow spread over the Blood Godhood, like crimson tendrils, coiling up Haral's body along his arm.

The thorny rose pattern faintly appeared within the Godhood, and simultaneously, a faint thorny rose pattern manifested on "Haral"'s forehead.

"Finally caught you."

A cold, melodious voice echoed.

Dark Path·Blood Seal!

In the next instant, the crimson glow exploded, and the Silver Moon in the sky suddenly turned a blood red. The Moon Dream World, full of magnificent illusions, shattered, and even the floating Moon Dream Heart lost its luster, transforming into a small shrine!

"Mirick's Shrine!"

The artifact in the sky was not the Moon Dream Heart at all, but a space-type Divine Artifact, Mirick's Shrine!

Looking at the shrine in the sky, "Haral" finally changed his expression.

He quickly looked around, only to find that, at some point, the surrounding valley had turned into an endless ocean.

Feeling the spatial power different from that of the Mireya Continent, his expression became even more solemn:

"Mirik Divine Artifact Space? When?"

"Naturally, a long while ago."

An ethereal voice rang out.

Only to see the stone statue slowly shedding its gray hue, regaining vitality and transforming back into Charlotte's form.

However, Charlotte now did not appear to be in good shape.

A gloomy complexion, blood at the lips, and a deep bloody hole in her chest still oozing the golden-red Divine Blood, while the Godhood and Divine Fire within her chest had entirely vanished.

But "Haral"'s expression was not relaxed; instead... it grew more solemn:

"So, you... never intended to use the Moon Dream Heart from the start..."

"Of course, the Moon Dream Heart is a Divine Artifact of the Moon God, and you're the Moon God's brother, so naturally, I must guard against... The Moon God's Divine Form is also in your hands."

Charlotte stated calmly.

Charlotte had never used the Moon Dream Heart!

Indeed, everything around from the very beginning was an "illusion"!

Charlotte neither summoned the Moon Dream Heart nor attempted to seal "Haral" with it, rather, from the start, she utilized Mirick's Shrine, concealing with the power of the Moon Dream Heart to draw everything around into the Mirik Divine Artifact Space!

Both the Moon Dream Heart and the Moon Seal were illusions crafted by Charlotte using her knowledge of the Moon Dream Heart, projected through Mirick's Shrine!

The real Moon Dream Heart was actually sealed within her consciousness, releasing just enough power during the illusion to mislead "Haral"'s judgment!

Had Charlotte not possessed the Moon Dream Heart, "Haral" might not have been deceived.

But with the Moon Dream Heart in Charlotte's possession and "Haral" not being its true owner, and given the space characteristics of Mirick's Shrine and the sealing attributes of the Moon Dream Heart were so similar, all these misdirections truly fooled "Haral"!

Of course, what truly convinced "Haral" was Charlotte's condition...

She truly suffered that stab, truly allowing "Haral" to extract her Divine Position!

But "Haral" did not celebrate.

The Divine Position is the essence of a deity. At the level of the mythical, the physical body is not that important; the true Divine Soul and consciousness have long merged with the Divine Position.

Depriving a deity of their Divine Position in a sealed state is completely different from "depriving" a deity of their Divine Position in a normal state.

In other words, Charlotte's true form is no longer that stabbed shell.

But rather, the Blood Godhood held in Haral's hand!

And, taking Haral by surprise, Charlotte's move [Blood Seal] directly turned the tables and confined "Haral", although it could only confine for a few moments, it was already enough.

A blue radiance erupted, and a golden trident descended from the heavens, severing "Haral's" left arm with a single strike. The silver Moon God's Divine Form fell, swallowed directly by the surging sea waves.

And in the next moment, silver light blossomed, and the true Moon Dream Heart... finally emerged.

Moonlight as fluid as water draped over "Haral" in that shocked and angry gaze, and grey petrification began to spread over their form.

At the same time, crimson radiance burst forth, as the Blood Godhood in their hand unleashed an unprecedentedly majestic Divine Power, all surging into their body!

...

Charlotte arrived in a golden world.

Countless fervent prayers came from all directions, with praises, confessions, zeal, and confusion...

Mysteriously, she seemed to see pious believers kneeling and praying beneath the majestic Divine Lord's statue.

It was the prayers of the Holy believers.

And this place was none other than "Haral's" spiritual realm.

Oh, no.

More accurately, it should be called the Divine Soul world.

Of course, Charlotte preferred its other name projected in the mortal world—

The Faith Network of the Holy Royal Court.

In this golden world, divinity and light were the main themes.

Boundless ethereal clouds and brilliant light shone as if it were paradise, and beneath her feet, white steps twisted upwards, reaching far into the distance.

Charlotte ascended the steps and walked forward.

With each of her steps, the clouds on both sides morphed, transforming into various scenes.

Standing high above the Holy City, receiving the worship of all life.

Being in the sacred palace, wielding command over all gods.

And in the endless crimson, battling against the Blood True Ancestor...

These scenes were Haral's memories.

Charlotte saw Haral, saw the gods who once thrived on the Mireya Continent, and saw... her past self.

The scenes changed with her advancement; the further she climbed, the more ancient the time she retraced, and Charlotte saw the Bloodline gods turning against each other, witnessing Haral and others' assault on the True Ancestor, and clearly seeing in that Bloodline civil strife... the visage of the Blood True Ancestor.

It was herself.

Her adult self.

Only now this "she" looked mad.

Charlotte paused briefly but did not cease her steps.

She continued forward, and the scenes on both sides grew more familiar.

She saw Haral fighting alongside her.

And saw herself bestowing Bloodline power upon Haral.

She also saw Haral leading humans to resist the dominion of the Elves, establishing the Free City State Alliance, saw Haral unleashing divine power, demolishing the Elf Tower that imprisoned the entire Northern Border.

Of course, she also saw that familiar northern tribe, saw the shy, introverted child following at the heels of a blonde girl, respectfully and excitedly addressing her as teacher...

The experiences crossing through history replayed like a film on both sides of the steps, bringing Charlotte feelings of both familiarity and strangeness.

The familiarity lay in the fact that a considerable part of those experiences were past events she had once lived through after crossing history.

The strangeness was that Charlotte found, in all of Haral's memories, someone who should have existed was entirely absent—

Lilith.

Charlotte continued forward.

And next, she saw not Haral's memories.

But rather... the memories of the Sun God "Helios".

Or more accurately, the memories of "Haral" before "reincarnating" as "Haral".

And "Helios's" memories began with that catastrophic event that obliterated the entire West Continent...
