Bleach: The Outer God

Chapter 34: Chapter 34 That's why teachers were needed

Soifon left in frustration.

It didn't go as she had planned but it wasn't anything bad but it was just more than she had expected.

He was a genius. Absolute genius that never appeared in the history of Shinigami.

"Just a few years at most and he might be able to fight on par with me."

Soifon didn't feel jealous or anything.

It would be good for everyone if he became stronger faster.

Her captain would praise her and shower her with affection.

And when she thought about Yoruichi, somehow the face of Ichigo appeared.

"Big sis…"

That was the first time someone called her that. And it was very pure.

He didn't have any ulterior motive and was very grateful that she gave her time to teach him and even gave him a precious artifact.

And that made her feel so ashamed. She didn't have good in her heart when she taught him.

She even wanted to bully him to make him submit to her.

But his sheer will was too enormous as he would never fall down to anything that she put him through.

His mind was stronger than even the strongest steel.

She even doubted that he wasn't a five years old kid but someone else took his body. But when she checked on him.

She found that he was really five years old.

Shinigami had a technique that could tell someone's age by just a glance.

His soul was just formed five years ago. She could tell that much.

"Let's stop thinking about it and report to Yoruichi-sama."

She was sure that her captain would be delighted to hear everything in detail.

Tessai checked on Ichigo with a different method from Soifon.

He was now standing inside the mindscape that was in Ichigo's realm of consciousness.

The realm of consciousness was the result of mind and spiritual power.

Tessai came inside his mindscape because he wanted to know his character.

"This…is his mind."

He didn't teach him anything yet because he wanted to know his character first.

And this was the result. He couldn't tell a single thing.

"How is it sir. Is my mindscape good?"

Ichigo said with a smile.

He let him inside his mindscape because there's nothing to hide from him.

Everyone who practiced Kido would eventually form their own realm of consciousness.

He guested that his mindscape wasn't that impressive from the perspective of the master level.

Ichigo didn't know that the space inside the mindscape of the practitioner level shouldn't be this enormous.

Tessai didn't answer him.

'Something wrong with him. His soul is too strong for a five years old boy. If I let it be. It might be a problem for him in the future.'

He couldn't tell his character but he was sure that he wasn't a bad kid.

But he still couldn't teach him that.

"It's very good but… We need to seal it."

"Seal it? Why?"

"Because you are too young. Your mindscape would grow more and more so we need to keep sealing it until you grow enough to bear the burden."

"So it was like that."

Ichigo nodded. He also felt that it became harder and harder to control his spiritual power.

He now had three artifacts and one Asauchi but they still weren't enough to drain all of his excessive spiritual power.

"Don't worry I will tell you how to-"

Tessai was about to teach him how to seal a part of his realm of consciousness but Ichigo was already done it.

He sealed half of his realm of consciousness and felt the burden was lessened.

His mind became clear.

"Wow."

Tessai saw that he used a strange magic to seal his own realm of consciousness.

It became much smaller but was still bigger than that of the normal practitioner.

'Forget it. This should be enough for him to grow safely.'

This was why teachers were needed when someone wanted to improve.

They would point at where they would head to and tell them where it would have gone wrong with their experience.

They would set them right so they didn't waste their time or even their life.

After checking his mindscape. Tessai and Ichigo returned outside.

"Now that I have checked your mindscape and I know what I should be teaching you."

He would teach him only the basics and let him improve it on his own.

With that it should be enough for him to grow.

"Thank you very much sir!"

And that was enough to make Ichigo content.

Even if he was given a choice between learning the basics and creating his own path or learning the other path that had already been paved.

He would choose his own path a hundred percent.

Tessai didn't need much time in teaching him the basics of the expert level Kido.

Ichigo listened carefully and watched his demonstration.

He then got enlightened and stepped into the realm of an expert without even knowing.

'He is like Aizen and Kisuke… I now know why Yoruichi didn't want Kisuke to know about him.'

If Kisuke knew about him, Aizen too would know. And the kid's life would be full of trouble.
