Chapter 106: Get Away
“Pardon me, I felt immense Reiatsu here and rushed here right away out of worry for my Captain. I was hiding because I was afraid of disturbing the Captains. Complete to my surprise, Lieutenant Suzuki found out. I’m really sorry.”
In addition to the reputation he has built up until now, his expression was really convincing, as if he was seriously worried about his Captain, so the Captains in the vicinity didn’t doubt him at all.
“It’s alright. Come here, Sōusuke-kun.”
Ukitake Jūshirō said with a faint smile.
“Thank you very much, Captain Ukitake.” Aizen bowed before walking towards Ukitake Jūshirō.
Kyōraku, however, eyed him warily. Some of the Captains didn’t even realize that Aizen was hiding nearby and based on what Muyang said to him earlier, Aizen became even more suspicious in Kyōraku’s eyes. Even if he didn’t conceal his presence just now, Kyōraku believed that he must have other secrets.
Although Muyang was in the middle of a fight with Yamamoto, he made sure to keep track of Aizen. After all, no one knew what that guy was planning by coming here, and he was really worried.
However, there was one more thing that concerned Muyang right now. Even though the Captains in the vicinity didn’t thoroughly scan the area, it was a fact that they couldn’t detect Aizen was lurking around, so he believed that Aizen must be using Kyōka Suigetsu to mess with the Captain’s senses. However, Kusu managed to find Aizen. Could Kusu’s ability cancel out Aizen’s Kyōka Suigetsu?
Muyang’s heart beat faster when he thought of this probability. If he had someone who could cancel out Aizen’s Kyōka Suigetsu, then the battle with Aizen would be easier for sure. Even though Muyang let Aizen did Kyōka Suigetsu’s activation requirement in front of him on purpose and fought Aizen in order to find a hole in his Zanpakuto’s ability, it sure gave him a run for his money.
Suddenly, Muyang’s complexion changed. If Kusu could really cancel out Aizen’s Kyōka Suigetsu, then Aizen would definitely get rid of her with any means necessary.
And sure enough, as Muyang turned his head towards Aizen that was standing behind the Captains, he saw Aizen was looking at Kusu with evil eyes. Shortly after, Aizen looked towards Muyang as if taunting him.
Shit!
Seeing the look in Aizen’s eyes, it seemed that Aizen was also aware that Kusu could cancel out his Kyōka Suigetsu. It seemed like Aizen would eliminate Kusu at all cost. Muyang at first planned to leave Kusu behind, but that didn’t seem like such a good idea now. She would definitely die at Aizen’s hands if he didn’t take her along.
Provided the current situation, Muyang knew he couldn’t afford to keep his cards hidden. He wouldn’t be able to escape if he didn’t use his new power at this rate even though he knew he hasn’t completely mastered it.
With that in mind, Muyang firmly held his Zanpakuto, and Muyang’s body was covered by a small breeze. However, with each passing second, the wind circulated faster and faster, and it became bigger and bigger. In just a few seconds, a whirlwind was blown around Muyang, with him as the eye of the storm
Yamamoto stood squinting opposite Muyang, and the robe rustled because of the wind, but Yamamoto himself stood tall before the whirlwind without batting an eye.
“Amazing! So this is the famous strongest Wind-Type Zanpakuto’s power.” Even though Yamamoto was unfazed, the same couldn’t be said to other Captains. Kyōraku saw the raging whirlwind around Muyang and was speechless for a second.
Muyang suddenly waved his hand, and the whirlwind around him suddenly dispersed. The dispersed whirlwind traversed through Sōkyoku Hill, covering every nook and cranny.
Suddenly, Muyang fiddled around with his finger as if there was something in the air, and then a slight smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.
Judging from the information he felt through the wind, Kisuke had already evacuated with Shinji nd the rest. In addition, Yoruichi was hiding in the vicinity! With that information, Muyang was a little more relieved. With Yoruichi’s help, he would have a higher chance of escaping. She was, after all, the best at Shunpo in Soul Society.
Now that Muyang found the light of hope, he raised his Zanpakuto, and massive Reiatsu was concentrated on his Zanpakuto to the point that it glowed in azure color. The whirlwind that originally enveloped Muyang was like being drawn to his Zanpakuto too.
Bzztt~ Bzztt~ ~~~
Now, all the wind around Muyang had converged on the blade, causing a buzzing sound..
“What an intense Reiatsu!”
Although the wind around Muyang Zanpakuto was invisible to the naked eye, Ukitake could clearly feel the concentrated Reiatsu on Muyang’s Zanpakuto. Even though he knew that Yamamoto wouldn’t lose, he couldn’t help but doubt his own judgement once he saw Muyang’s Zanpakuto.
Muyang looked towards Yamamoto that was just watching him without a care as Muyang prepared his big move.
“Are you just gonna watch until I’m done preparing my big move, Captain-Commander?” Muyang coudn’t help but ask as he found it so strange that Yamamoto just let him get away with such an advantage.
“I’m just curious to see what kind of attack you’re going to show me after taking this long.” Yamamoto said before the flame enveloped him and his Zanpakuto.
“You may be disappointed, you know.” Muyang murmured before swinging his Zanpakuto at Yamamoto.
A raging storm burst out instantly.
“Haaa!!”
Yamamoto swung his Zanpakuto, and its flame got even bigger as if trying to devour Muyang’s whirlwind whole.
Bang!!
As the flame and the whirlwind collided, the fire became even fiercer that it covered the entire Sōkyoku Hill, and the whole Sōkyoku Hill was covered by dust as the aftermath, obstructing everyone’s field of vision.
Right after the flame burst out, Muyang used Shunpo and reappeared beside Yoruichi.
“Who’s there!?”
Sensing someone approaching, Yoruichi instinctively attacked with her elbow.
“It’s me.” Muyang blocked Yoruichi’s attack with his palm.
“Kimura?”
“You must take Kusu away now.” Muyang immeditely went straight to the point without wasting even a single second.
Yoruichi was taken aback at first but immediately nodded, “I got it.”
Yoruichi was ready to move out, but she glanced back at Muyang and said: “be careful.”
“Yeah.”
Now that he could leave Kusu in Yoruichi’s hands, Muyang was a bit relieved. With this, he would be able to escape more easily.
Bang!
A pillar of flame rose into the sky, and as it subsided, Yamamoto’s figure in the flame was revealed, blowing away all the dust on the Sōkyoku Hill.
“Is that all you got, brat?” Yamamoto was quite disappointed since Muyang’s attack didn’t do anything to him.
“Of course not.” Muyang Zanpakuto slowly raised his Zanpakuto that gave off a terrifying aura that intrigued even Yamamoto.
Muyang slightly swung his Zanpakuto, but it left a creepy black crack in its wake.
“Old man Yama, what do you think about this one then?”
