Blade of the Goddess

Chapter 260

"Has Zion taken over the middle world yet? I have to train him with Authorites and that shit is not an easy ability to learn. Tell him to hurry up!" Lilith complained as she ate grapes on her chair while talking to Erebosa.

"Relax Lilith, he's almost done there. He only needs one more month until things are complete on his end." Erebosa was also eating grapes while sitting in a chair, leaning back as she looked at the sky with sun glasses on.

"I gotta say though, this holo pad that Zion gave me is so fun to use."

"Right!" Lilith shot up. "At first, I wasn't interested in his trinckets, but now, my god these things are so fun! I need to have him mass produce this for us demons. Oouu, a demon holo pad, yeah, that sounds great!"

"Maybe I should ask him to make a God and Devil holo pad. You know that, yeah, I'll do that."

"Pfft" Lilith spit out her drink while laughing. "What would you need a 'Devil' holo pad for? It's not like you're a race with an entire culture and way of life. Should a normal holo pad be fine for you?"

"Well, yeah, I guess. But these movies, shows, and games are so fun to watch and play. A devil version will be cool. You know, with devils instead of the mortals."

"Yeah, I want you to think about what you said right there. At least we demons have a civilization. You," Lilith shook her head. "You won't even have devils to keep you company, seeing how we're going to be killing them and all."

Erebosa thought about her words for a bit, and her shoulders slumped after the realization. "Damn, you're right. I guess this is fine, then."

"Better be fine. Speaking of being fine, Zion better be ready to train because he won't be fine if he fights at his current level of power."

"Oh, don't worry about that." Erebosa took a sip of her drink. "He's a daemon now so he's around your strength currently."

"HE'S A WHAT?!" Lilith shot up from her chair, her holo pad dropping to the ground, drink spilling, and her sunglasses falling off her face from how fast she stood up.

"Yeah, happened a few days ago. My sister and I put him through the 'trial' to become one, and he succeeded. If I'm not mistaken, he also had a slight clash with the Divine Apostle of Hylaea, Circe."

Lilith's body shuddered. Every strong person in the demon world knew of the name Circe. She was the only dragon to actually force the demons to retreat 10,000 years ago. Many of her kind lost their lives to her; even Azmorath, the strongest Archdemon, couldn't beat her.

This made sense, though; she was, after all, the Divine Apostle of the strongest god, Bahamut, ascended the boundaries of morality and became a demigod, and finally, she was the Hero of the Dragons who wields an ancient relic and who fought alongside the other heroes during the war 10,000 years ago.

"Circe, that bitch. She single-handedly wiped up every demon that crossed her path! And that was before she was granted a divine relic." Lilith couldn't contain the negative emotions she had for the dragon.

"Oh yeah, I remember that. Before the war and before she became an apostle, she was still a powerhouse. No other dragon came close to her strength. Then, when Bahamut made her his apostle, she became a beast. Then she became a demigod, and soon after, you demons attacked. I remember laughing so hard because of the one-sided massacre that was going to happen."

Lilith frowned. "And still with all that power, your sister gave her an ancient relic which made her even more powerful."

"Blame that dumbass Azmorath for sending your people to their deaths. Maybe if you all had listened to me, your husband would still be alive. Poor Lyzaroth." Erebosa sighed

Lilith's power exploded, and her anger rose. The bloodlust from her was so intense that the room started to decay. "Don't you dare mention his name!"

"Oh, stop it. That tickles. Sit down and let's continue our lovely conversation."

"You-"

Erebosa cut her off, pulling up her sunglasses to look Lilith in the eyes. "Sit down!" Her power boomed, shaking the entire world with its might. No matter how strong Lilith was, she was still nothing compared to Erebosa.

"Y-Yes. I'm sorry. I got carried away." Lilith sat down and relaxed her mind.

"Is that why you wanted to take care of him?" Erebosa asked

Lilith looked confused. "What are you talking about?"

"Zion. I know you told him that I wanted to meet with him to help you out in your crusade, which is half true. But is that truly the reason why you wanted to help him? The reason why you couldn't hold yourself back and had to meet him even when I told you to wait?"

Lilith looked down at her newly poured drink, slightly shaking it around, trying to avoid answering her.

Erebosa smiled. "He looks like him, too. Did you think Zion was Lyzaroth when you first saw him?"

"I did. He even had the same demonic scent Lyzaroth had. But I guess that makes sense, he is Zion's father after all."

"Indeed. This is also why he was able to handle demonic energy so well. He probably doesn't even know why he can handle holy power so well either, no, why his mother had no problems helping him out once he revealed everything."

Lilth looked up as she remembered the reason why. "Oh yeah, that's right. Isn't his mother from that clan? The original followers of you and Luminera? What were they called again? The bright clan?"

"The Radiant Tribe. The first group of humans to exist in the world, back when every race, demons, and angels included, lived together. Ahh, the simpler times." Ereboas reminisced about the old days.
