Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Castle Town Kikka (Mini R-18)
(A/N: Here you go you degenerates. The first R-18 chapter. Although its a mini one. Also I apologize for the delay.)
The next morning, I woke up early as usual. As my eyes adjusted to the dim light in the room, I felt the soft warmth beside me. Luna was still asleep, her silver hair cascading over the pillow, her peaceful expression making her look even more ethereal. Smiling, I leaned in and gave her a gentle morning kiss. Her golden eyes fluttered open, and she let out a small, satisfied hum before burying her face into the pillow.
"Master… morning already?" she mumbled sleepily.
"Yeah, I'm heading out for training," I said, stroking her hair. "Go back to sleep if you want."
She only hummed again in response, so I chuckled and got up. Stepping outside, I started my morning training—first my usual physical routine, strengthening my body before focusing on refining my control over Chaos Magic. After completing both, I returned to my room, where Luna had already gotten up and was waiting for me with a small smile.
After freshening up with a warm bath, I stepped out, drying my hair as Luna helped me get dressed. It had become a natural thing for us, though I could still feel the occasional teasing glance from her as she adjusted my coat. Once ready, we headed to the cafeteria for breakfast.
While eating, I was lost in thought about what to do on my day off. It was rare to have free time like this, so I wanted to make the most of it. I glanced at Luna, who was happily enjoying her food, and an idea struck me.
"Luna," I said, making her look up. "How about we go to the Castle Town today? Just the two of us."
Her golden eyes sparkled at the suggestion. "A date?"
I smirked. "Yeah, a date."
Hearing that, she beamed, nodding excitedly. Now determined, I quickly finished my breakfast and made my way toward Fuegoleon's office, with Luna following closely behind.
Upon entering, I found him, as usual, buried in stacks of paperwork. Without wasting time, I spoke up. "Captain, could you give me my month's salary early? I'm planning to walk around the Castle Town with Luna today."
Fuegoleon looked up from his documents, glancing between me and Luna before a knowing smile formed on his face. Without saying much, he reached into his desk and pulled out a pouch filled with coins, tossing it toward me.
"Don't spend it all in one day," he said in amusement.
Catching it with ease, I smirked. "Thanks, Captain. I won't." With that, I turned and left, Luna following beside me.
After leaving the base, I summoned my broom, and we both took off toward Kikka. Since this was a date, I didn't bother calling Leopold or Erwin, who were probably still enjoying the chance to sleep in. I could make it up to them another day.
As we approached the town, the sight of its bustling streets and towering buildings became clearer. Soon, we landed just outside the gates. With a flick of my wrist, I opened my personal storage space and stored away my broom.
This was something I had created just this morning—using Space Magic to create a personal storage dimension. As far as I knew, I was the only one able to use Space Magic in this way. However, I was still trying to figure out how to apply this ability to jewelry, so I could store and retrieve items with just a touch. My progress was slow, but perhaps learning runes in the Heart Kingdom could help improve this technique.
After securing everything, Luna transformed back into her normal size, retracting her wings before intertwining her fingers with mine. From an outsider's perspective, we must have looked like a couple—a tall, handsome man walking hand-in-hand with a breathtakingly gorgeous woman. Judging from the stares we were getting, we were definitely an eye-catching pair.
We strolled through the lively streets of Kikka, taking in the sights and smells of the various food stalls. The air was filled with the aroma of grilled meats, freshly baked bread, and sweet pastries.
"Master, look! That looks delicious," Luna said, pointing at a stand selling chocolate-covered fruits.
Chuckling, I led her toward the stall and bought some. She eagerly took a piece, biting into it before her eyes lit up with joy.
"It's so good!" she exclaimed.
Seeing her so happy, I smiled and took a bite myself. The sweetness melted on my tongue, mixing with the slight bitterness of the chocolate. "Not bad," I admitted.
As we continued walking, we stopped by different stalls, trying all sorts of foods. Fried skewers, fluffy pastries, and even a special roasted meat dish that was apparently a local specialty. At one point, Luna fed me a piece herself, giggling when I raised an eyebrow at her playful behavior.
"Come on, Master, say 'ahh~.'"
I sighed but played along, letting her feed me. The moment I bit down, she grinned mischievously. "See? Isn't it more fun this way?"
Shaking my head, I flicked her forehead lightly, making her pout before she laughed again.
We continued our exploration, visiting different shops, looking at trinkets and rare magic items. At one point, we came across a small accessory shop selling handcrafted jewelry.
"Would this suit me?" Luna asked, holding up a delicate silver bracelet with a small crescent moon charm.
I examined it for a moment before smirking. "Everything suits you, but that one especially."
Hearing that, she blushed lightly but smiled. "Then, I'll take it."
I took out some coins and paid for it before gently placing it around her wrist. She admired it for a moment before squeezing my hand. "Thank you, Master."
Spending time like this, away from battles and missions, felt refreshing. It was a reminder that despite the path I walked, there were still moments like these to cherish.
As the afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the town, we continued strolling through the streets, exploring more of what Kikka had to offer. Luna's curiosity led us from one interesting place to another—a small bookstore filled with old tomes, a blacksmith's forge where weapons gleamed under the firelight, and even a fortune teller's tent that she playfully insisted we visit.
"Master, let's get our fortunes read," Luna said with a mischievous smile.
I raised an eyebrow. "You believe in that stuff?"
She giggled. "Not really, but it sounds fun!"
Sighing but unable to say no to her excited expression, I let her drag me inside. The old fortune teller peered at us with a knowing gaze, muttering cryptic words as she shuffled a deck of mysterious-looking cards. Luna watched in fascination, while I just crossed my arms, listening halfheartedly.
The reading was vague—something about fate intertwining, a powerful destiny, and a path shrouded in chaos. Fitting, but nothing I didn't already know. Still, Luna seemed amused by it, so I let her enjoy the moment.
After leaving the tent, we continued wandering through the bustling streets, stopping by an open plaza where street performers were putting on a show. A small crowd had gathered, and Luna pulled me closer to watch. The acrobatics and magic tricks were impressive, and at one point, a fire juggler nearly set himself on fire, making everyone burst into laughter.
Luna clapped enthusiastically. "That was amazing!"
I chuckled. "Not as amazing as him almost burning his eyebrows off."
She giggled, clearly enjoying herself.
We continued walking around, lost in our own little world, when someone called out from behind.
"Hey, Ryo! Luna! What are you both doing here?"
Turning around, I saw none other than Asta walking toward us, accompanied by two women. One had silver hair tied into twin pigtails and striking purple eyes. She wore a sleeveless, backless purple dress covered by a silver blazer with gold-colored cuffs, extending slightly beyond her elbows. There was an air of arrogance around her—something I had seen in Leopold when he interacted with others, a certain royal pride. That meant she was most likely a noble, maybe even royalty.
The other was a tall woman with a voluptuous figure, wavy pink hair reaching her mid-back, and deep purple eyes. Her full lips curled into a relaxed smile, giving off an easygoing vibe. She wore a sleeveless red-violet top designed to flaunt her curves, with a V-shaped opening that left most of her cleavage exposed. It clung to her body, accentuating her figure perfectly, and paired with a matching miniskirt that barely covered her thighs. Topping it all off was an unmistakable witch's hat.
Recognizing them, I smiled at Asta. "Asta, what a coincidence. I didn't expect to see you this soon. What brings you here?"
Asta grinned. "We finished a tough mission yesterday, so Captain Yami gave us the day off. And guess what? I even got a star from the Wizard King!"
I chuckled. "Great job, Asta." Then, glancing at the two women, I added, "And who are these two beauties with you?"
Asta quickly introduced them. "Oh, right! This is Noelle, and this is Senior Vanessa. They're both my squadmates in the Black Bulls."
I nodded at them. "Nice to meet you both. Thanks for taking care of this idiot. I'm Ryo—like him, I'm also from Hage. And this is Luna, my spirit and my girlfriend."
Noelle tossed her hair with a huff, feigning arrogance, but I caught the way her eyes lingered on Luna. As a royal, she must have heard of the legends surrounding spirits, and seeing one in person piqued her curiosity. Vanessa, on the other hand, smirked and sauntered closer, placing a hand on my shoulder while poking my cheek.
"What a handsome young man. Asta, how come you never told me about him?" she teased before turning back to me. "Forget that—how about I treat you to a drink, as your senior?"
Grinning, I wrapped an arm around her waist and teased back, "Sure, but I'm warning you—I might just drink you bankrupt."
She faltered for a second, a light blush dusting her cheeks, but quickly regained her composure. Then, as if remembering something, she glanced at Luna, who was watching with a playful smile, clearly unbothered. Vanessa seemed momentarily taken aback—most women would have gotten jealous, but Luna was simply enjoying the interaction.
Vanessa smirked, rubbing a finger against my cheek. "Alright then, I'll take you up on that later. But since it's your day off, why don't you two join us? We're heading to the Black Market. Bet you haven't seen it yet, have you?"
I exchanged a glance with Luna before shrugging. "Sounds interesting. Alright then, lead the way."
I removed my hand from Vanessa's waist, and for a brief moment, she seemed almost disappointed. But she quickly brushed it off and started walking ahead, taking the lead like a proper senior.
As I walked behind Asta, watching Luna chat with Noelle and Vanessa up ahead, I couldn't help but think—damn, girls sure get close fast. It had barely been a few minutes, and they had already gone from acquaintances to friends. It was a bit surprising, but at the same time, I was happy for Luna. She spent most of her time with me, so seeing her talking and bonding with other girls was a good change.
Before long, we turned into an alley. Asta, noticing the dead end ahead, frowned. "Isn't this a dead end?"
Vanessa smirked at him, a playful glint in her eyes, before casually walking straight into the wall. Just as we thought she was about to crash into it, she disappeared right through.
"Huh?!?" The three of us stared, stunned.
A moment later, Vanessa's head peeked back through the wall, her smirk widening. "Come on now!"
Asta was the first to step forward, cautiously walking through. Noelle hesitated for a second before following, and finally, Luna and I walked in together, our hands intertwined. As I passed through, it felt like sinking into water for a moment, only to be thrown out the other side.
The moment I stepped through, I was greeted by a chaotic yet lively scene—rows of stalls lined the area, selling all sorts of magical goods, from enchanted trinkets to dangerous-looking relics. The air was thick with the scent of old parchment, burning incense, and something metallic—probably the scent of magic-infused items. Many of the shopkeepers had a shady air about them, their beady eyes darting around as they eagerly watched the potential customers passing by.
"Welcome to the Black Market!" Vanessa announced with a grin. "It's a teeny bit dangerous, but they've got some pretty effective stuff here."
I nodded in understanding, scanning the surroundings. Asta, unsurprisingly, was looking around with wide-eyed curiosity, while Noelle seemed much less impressed.
Vanessa noticed and raised an eyebrow. "You don't seem that excited."
Noelle crossed her arms, sighing. "Not really."
Vanessa chuckled knowingly. "Can't really blame you. Nobles and royals usually don't set foot here. Too many prejudices." Then, with a teasing look, she added, "Well, you still can't control your magic properly, right?"
Noelle visibly tensed, then, almost instinctively, glanced in my direction. I caught the look, noting the slight hesitation in her expression.
Feigning surprise, I raised an eyebrow. "Wait, you're a royal, and you can't control your magic?"
Her body stiffened, as if bracing for some kind of mockery, but I simply continued. "Well, not like I can blame you. Not everyone can control vast amounts of mana. Hasn't Asta told you?"
Noelle frowned. "Told me what?"
Vanessa also looked curious, shifting her gaze between Asta and me.
I shrugged. "That I couldn't control my magic either." Seeing their reactions, I went on, "I had an insanely high mana pool, and when I awakened my magic, I had no control over it whatsoever. I even killed someone back then… though, to be fair, he deserved it."
That made Noelle's eyes widen slightly.
I waved it off. "Point is, it took time for me to get where I am now. So don't beat yourself up over it. Train hard, and maybe one day, you'll be able to control it like I do."
To emphasize my point, I raised my hand and effortlessly wove tendrils of multicolored mana through my fingers, creating a mesmerizing display of controlled chaos. Every movement was fluid, precise—an extension of myself.
Then, placing a reassuring hand on Noelle's shoulder, I said, "Believe in yourself. Anyway, I won't bore you both with this. There are plenty of magic items here. Maybe you'll find something to help with your control."
Noelle, still taking in my words, nodded slowly. There was something different in her eyes now—maybe a bit of hope.
Vanessa took the opportunity to back me up. "Ryo's right. There are plenty of magic items here. Maybe you'll find something that helps you adjust your powers and slowly gain control over them. How about we take a look?"
Hearing this, Noelle seemed more hopeful. A small but genuine smile formed on her lips as she nodded. "Okay."
Meanwhile, Asta had been glancing toward a particular section of the market with interest. His eyes lit up as he pointed toward a lively-looking building. "That place looks fun!"
Vanessa followed his gaze and let out a knowing chuckle. "That's the casino. But you all are a bit too young to go in there. Amateurs need to be careful, or they might end up losing everything they have before they even realize it."
Seeing this, an idea popped into my head. I smirked and said, "Alright, you guys look around. I'll be right back." Then, without waiting for a response, I turned and headed straight for the casino.
Vanessa blinked before reacting. "Hey, wait a minute—!" She reached out to stop me, but Asta put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her.
Vanessa looked at him in confusion. "Why are you stopping me?"
Asta sighed, rubbing the back of his head as he recalled some rather 'traumatic' memories. "Vanessa, just hope that when Ryo leaves, at least some people in there still have their underwear."
Vanessa's eyes widened. "What?"
Asta nodded seriously. "Let's just say that if there was a god of gambling, Ryo would be it. His luck is so ridiculous that it completely ruins anyone else's chances. One time, back in the village, our church was running low on food, so he made a gambling bet with a farmer. He won without even breaking a sweat. After that, he did it so many times that eventually, whenever he asked someone to make a bet, they'd just give up right away and leave."
Vanessa stared at Asta, then looked toward the casino, realization dawning on her face. "...So you're telling me he's about to completely rob that place blind, huh?"
Asta simply nodded. "Pretty much."
Hearing this, Vanessa looked toward the casino with a newfound sense of pity for everyone inside. She sighed, shaking her head. "Well… good luck to them, I guess." Deciding not to concern herself with the incoming disaster, she turned back to Noelle, focusing on helping her find something useful for her magic control.
Meanwhile, inside the casino, I walked around, scanning the various tables and games, trying to decide where to begin my fortune-filled journey. Luna, walking beside me with a knowing smile, chuckled softly. "Master, are you planning to rob this place clean?"
I smirked, shrugging. "Of course not. I'm just trying to win all the money here."
Luna giggled, golden eyes filled with amusement. "That is robbing, Master."
To which I replied, "Yes, but it's legal robbery."
The moment I stepped up to the first table, I could feel the atmosphere shift. Gamblers, merchants, and even a few nobles eyed me like easy prey. Too bad for them.
I started small—just a few rounds of dice, letting the house think they had the upper hand. Then, I slowly turned the tide, raking in win after win, watching as the confidence of the others crumbled like brittle glass.
From dice to cards, roulette to a game where you had to guess enchanted symbols, I "robbed them clean." Every round ended with stacks of gold coins piling up in front of me while the crowd grew more restless. The pit bosses whispered among themselves, casting wary glances my way. Dealers were sweating, their hands shaking as they shuffled cards.
At one point, a bulky noble in rich robes slammed his hand on the table. "There's no way this is just luck!"
I simply grinned, tossing a gold coin and catching it midair. "Guess the Goddess of Fortune likes me better."
Luna, stood beside me, giggled. "More like the God of Chaos is tilting the odds."
The crowd around me thickened. Some whispered in disbelief, others in anger. By the time I reached the final table, winning a jackpot that nearly broke the casino's funds, the entire place was ready to riot.
A man in a suit, probably the owner, stomped toward me, his face red with fury. "YOU! There's no way this is normal! You're cheating, aren't you?!"
I simply pocketed the last batch of winnings and stretched. "Nope. Just really, really lucky."
Then, the whole room exploded into a chorus of angry voices.
"Give our money back!"
"This bastard took everything!"
"Stop him!"
Yeah… time to go.
Grabbing a large sack overflowing with gold, I bolted for the exit. Luna, now in her small form, sat comfortably on my shoulder, laughing in delight. "Master, this is the most fun I've had in centuries!"
Behind us, a mob of furious gamblers and merchants roared in pursuit.
As I ran through the market, weaving past confused shopkeepers, I quickly opened my storage space and shoved the entire sack of money inside. The weight vanished instantly. Perfect.
Ahead, I spotted Asta standing by an elderly woman, handing her a small pouch of coins. His usual self, helping out whoever he could.
No time for explanations.
I skidded to a stop, grabbed Asta, Noelle, and Vanessa by the arms, and shouted, "Time to leave!"
Throwing my hand up, I called out, [Chaos Magic: Unstable Summoning].
A cloud of swirling chaos formed in the air before warping into a massive, flaming red phoenix. Without hesitation, I jumped onto its back, dragging the others with me, and the bird shot into the sky, carrying us far away from the chaos below.
As we soared through the sky, Luna laughed in my ear. "Master, you really are the worst."
Down below, the angry mob burst out of the wall, searching frantically for me.
An old woman stood nearby, watching the commotion with innocent curiosity. A gambler ran up to her, panting. "Hey, old lady! Have you seen a kid wearing a Crimson Lion robe come out of here?"
The old woman blinked before pointing in the opposite direction. "He went that way."
"AFTER HIM!"
The mob roared and took off in the wrong direction.
As soon as they disappeared, the old lady's form shimmered, transforming into a tall, middle-aged man with messy blond hair and sharp purple eyes. The most distinct feature on his face was the blue six-pointed star on the left side of his forehead.
The 28th Wizard King, Julius Novachrono, smiled as he gazed up at the sky. "Chaos Magic, huh? Sounds interesting. I wonder what other things it can do?"
As we soared through the sky, the trio of Asta, Noelle, and Vanessa stared at the mob below, still charging in the wrong direction. For a moment, none of them spoke. Then, in perfect sync, all three slowly turned to look at me.
Vanessa was the first to break the silence, smirking as she crossed her arms. "You clearly just robbed that place blind."
I huffed in protest. "It's not robbing. It's called winning fair and square."
The three of them exchanged glances before deadpanning in unison. "You call that fair?"
Asta, ever the curious one, leaned forward. "Alright then, how much did you win, Ryo?"
Grinning, I reached into my storage space and pulled out the large sack of money, setting it down with a heavy thud. The sudden shift in weight made the phoenix chirp in protest. I patted its side. "Sorry, buddy."
The fiery bird let out another small chirp before refocusing on its flight.
At that moment, Luna returned to her full size and took a seat beside me, resting against my shoulder with a playful smile. "A lot. About 2.6 billion yuls. Master pretty much emptied the vault and made the entire casino bankrupt."
The moment those words left her lips, the three of them just… froze. Their expressions shifted from shock to disbelief before, all at once, they burst into laughter. Even Noelle, the one who usually kept her noble composure, let out a small, amused chuckle.
After a moment, she shook her head, looking at the heavy sack of gold. "That's almost the yearly income of the entire Silva family."
Hearing that, I grabbed a few smaller pouches, filled them up with gold, and tossed one to each of them. "Here, consider this your share."
Asta caught his and immediately tried to hand it back. "We don't need it, Ryo. After all, you were the one who won it."
I smirked. "Then take it as compensation. I may have put you all on the casino's watchlist too."
There was a beat of silence. Then, all three of them exchanged knowing looks before nodding and accepting the money.
After flying around for a while, enjoying the cool evening air and the breathtaking view of the kingdom, Vanessa suddenly snapped her fingers as if remembering something important.
"Oh, right! I still owe you a drink!" she said, turning to me with a grin.
I blinked before recalling our earlier conversation. "Oh yeah, you did say that earlier."
"Damn right I did," she smirked. "I said I'd treat you to a drink as your senior, and I always keep my word. So, once we land, we're heading straight to a bar."
Luna giggled beside me, her golden eyes twinkling with amusement. "Master's luck really is something else. He wins big at the casino and gets free drinks afterward."
I chuckled and glanced at Vanessa. "Well, can't say no to a free drink."
Vanessa smirked, crossing her arms. "Good. 'Cause you're drinking with me tonight."
Hearing that, I adjusted our course, steering the flaming phoenix toward Kikka. With a mighty cry, it descended, the town lights flickering to life below as nightfall slowly approached.
After we landed, I was about to cancel the summoning when the phoenix chirped in sadness. Since I didn't speak Phoenix, I looked at Luna for an explanation.
Luna smiled and translated, "Master, the phoenix doesn't want to go back. It says it wants to stay with you."
I blinked, caught off guard. "Huh? It wants to stay?"
Luna nodded. "Yes, Master. It seems to have taken a liking to you."
I looked at the phoenix, which gazed back with what I could only describe as hopeful eyes. Did I just get myself a pet…?
"Say, Luna, where do these summons even come from? And… are they all this sentient?"
She shook her head. "Not really, Master. Most of the beings in that plane are only partially sentient. This phoenix is one of the few fully sentient ones, so you were just lucky. As for the plane itself… well, I imagine it gets quite boring after staying there for so long."
Hearing this, Vanessa took the lead, placing a hand on her hip. "Poor thing. Must have been lonely there." Her voice carried a hint of understanding, as if she could relate.
I thought for a moment before shrugging. "Alright then, you can stay."
The phoenix let out a joyful chirp before shrinking its size and perching itself on my other shoulder.
"Well, looks like I've got a mount now. And a strong one at that," I smirked.
With that settled, we headed into town, following Vanessa as she led us to a tavern.
Inside the tavern, the atmosphere was lively, filled with the chatter of patrons and the clinking of mugs. The scent of roasted meat and ale lingered in the air, mixing with the faint trace of pipe smoke. Vanessa, being a regular, led us to a good spot in the corner and waved at the proprietress, who greeted her with an amused chuckle.
"Vanessa, you bringing fresh recruits to your bad habits now?" the woman teased.
Vanessa smirked. "Oh, come on, don't make me sound like a bad influence! I did promise him a drink as his senior."
The woman shook her head but didn't argue, quickly taking our orders. Soon, food was set on the table—juicy roasted meat, freshly baked bread, and a variety of side dishes that smelled amazing. But the real highlight was the drinks.
Vanessa, in true Vanessa fashion, ordered three bottles of booze straight away. She also got juice for Asta and Noelle, though they still looked skeptical about the whole drinking part.
I was about to get juice as well, but after mentioning that I had already had some drinks back at the Crimson Lion HQ, Vanessa raised an eyebrow before smirking.
"In that case, a bottle for you too," she declared, as if throwing down a challenge.
Luna, sitting beside me, giggled. "Master, she looks like quite the drinker."
I chuckled, pouring myself a drink. "Oh, I can more than keep up. Haven't you seen it already? I was still sober even after drinking the whole HQ under the table."
Luna chuckled, recalling how we stood wide awake while everyone else passed out.
As the night went on, the lively energy in the tavern only grew. With each bottle emptied, Vanessa got noticeably looser.
At first, it was just casual drinking—some laughter, some teasing. But by the third bottle, Vanessa had reached the handy stage, draping herself over my shoulder as she leaned in close.
"Hah~ Ryo, you're way too pretty for a fighter, you know that? Got that whole dangerous but handsome thing going on," she muttered, poking my cheek.
Asta snorted into his drink, while Noelle's face twitched slightly.
"Didn't take you for a flirt when you're drunk," I mused.
Vanessa waved a hand lazily. "I'm not flirting. I'm just appreciating the view." Then she turned to Luna, squinting. "Hey, Luna, you got some serious competition."
Luna just smiled knowingly, sipping her drink without a word.
By the fourth bottle, Vanessa had completely lost her personal space awareness. She leaned against me, arms wrapped around my neck as she laughed at her own jokes. At one point, she even booped my nose with her finger and giggled.
Noelle groaned. "Ugh, this is so embarrassing."
Asta, meanwhile, was just enjoying the show. "I don't know, I think this is the best part of the night."
(A/N: I guess Ryo had a bad influence on him then. He corrupted this poor boy.)
Then, somewhere between finishing her fourth bottle and starting her fifth, Vanessa attempted to stand up—only to trip on absolutely nothing and nearly face-plant onto the table. If I hadn't caught her, she would've taken all our drinks down with her.
"Whoops~" she laughed, then just stayed there, hugging my arm like a pillow.
By the time she reached the bottom of her fifth bottle, she was completely out of it. At this point, she wasn't even speaking properly anymore—just murmuring random nonsense while clinging to me like a drunk cat.
I chuckled at her antics, shaking my head. 'What a handful…'
That was when Noelle huffed and crossed her arms. "Now how will we return to the hideout?! It's all your fault!"
I raised an eyebrow. "Can't you both go back yourselves?"
Asta sighed. "I don't have magic, so I can't fly with a broom."
Noelle looked away, her voice small. "And I can't control my magic…"
I stared at them for a second before sighing, rubbing my temples.
The phoenix on my shoulder chirped as if laughing at my predicament.
"…Fine. I'll drop you three off."
With that, I paid the bill and walked out, wrapping an arm around Vanessa while Luna nestled against my other side. Asta and Noelle followed behind as we stepped into the cool night air. Looking up at the starry sky, I couldn't help but smile.
"This is a sight that can only be seen in this world."
I shifted my gaze to the phoenix perched on my shoulder and said, "It's your turn, little one."
The phoenix chirped in response, leaping off my shoulder before expanding into its majestic full form. Its crimson flames danced beautifully against the night as I climbed onto its back, helping Vanessa and Luna up before Asta and Noelle followed suit.
"Hold on!" I grinned before the phoenix let out a sharp cry, its wings flaring as it took off. Under the stunned gazes of the townspeople, we soared into the night, heading toward the Black Bulls' hideout.
The journey was smooth, the cool breeze brushing against us as we glided through the sky. After a while, the Black Bulls' base came into view—an asymmetric, multi-story house made of stone and brick, with several chimneys spewing out smoke and a single wooden gate marking the entrance.
As we landed, the phoenix chirped again before shrinking back down to its small form, hopping onto my shoulder.
Asta stretched and grinned. "Welcome to the squad's hideout!"
I followed him inside, and the moment I stepped in, I immediately understood why this was the most chaotic squad in existence.
In one corner, a guy with a creepy grin was staring into a mirror, murmuring, "My Marie~" while clutching his bleeding nose. Another corner had a massive, plump guy just sitting there, steam rising from his body for no reason. At a nearby table, a short, dwarf-like girl was demolishing food as if the world was ending tomorrow.
At the center of the room, a young man wearing sunglasses bickered loudly with a blond-haired guy, the latter laughing like a lunatic. And on the couch, a rugged man with a muscular build sat casually, smoking.
Captain Yami.
Asta began introducing me to everyone when suddenly, Magna shot up from his seat, pointing at me. "You bastard! You completely bankrupted the casino! How the hell am I supposed to multiply my money now?!"
I smirked. "At least now you won't end up losing everything instead."
"Tch," Magna clicked his tongue in frustration.
Luck, meanwhile, was staring at me intensely. "You're strong. Fight me!"
I exhaled. "Some other time."
Spotting Noelle, I turned to her. "Do you know where Vanessa's room is?"
Noelle nodded and led the way. We reached Vanessa's room, and the moment I pushed the door open, I was greeted with—
A mess.
Clothes were scattered everywhere, empty bottles rolled in the corners, and the whole place screamed organized chaos.
I chuckled. "Fitting."
Gently, I laid Vanessa down on the bed after clearing a spot for her to sleep. Just as I was about to step back—
She suddenly grabbed my collar and yanked me down.
Before I could react, her lips crashed against mine.
I froze.
The faint taste of alcohol lingered on my lips as Vanessa murmured something incoherent, her warm breath tickling my face.
Luna, watching from the side, was momentarily stunned—before bursting into laughter. "Pfft—Master, looks like you've been claimed."
Regaining my senses, I carefully pried Vanessa's arms off me and shook my head. "This little vixen…"
I turned to Luna, who was still laughing.
So, naturally, I walked over, grabbed her by the waist, and pulled her close. "Was that funny?" I teased.
Before she could respond, I kissed her.
Unlike Vanessa's drunken ambush, this one was slow, deliberate—her soft, cherry-flavored lips pressing against mine.
When I pulled away, Luna pouted and punched my chest playfully. "Master, you bully."
I smirked and ran a hand through her silver hair before finally stepping out, closing the door behind me.
After returning to the hall, I found the place still lively, laughter and chatter filling the space. But suddenly, I felt something—an urgent pulse through my magic. My expression darkened.
I had left a small trinket with the children at the church, an emergency beacon of sorts. If they ever faced danger, all they had to do was input magic into it, and I would sense it immediately.
Without wasting a second, I bid farewell to Asta and the others, stepping outside before opening a portal. In an instant, I was back at the church.
The moment I appeared, the children rushed toward me.
"Brother Ryo!" They surrounded me, their faces filled with worry.
Father Orsi quickly stepped forward, his expression grim. "Ryo, Yuno was here earlier with two of his squadmates… and a young man. They had dinner with us, but then Sister Lily was kidnapped."
Hearing this, my gaze sharpened.
"Yuno immediately chased after them," Father Orsi continued. "His squadmate—a girl—used her magic on Salim, and he started screaming that it was all his doing… something about revenge. We all ran after them, but by the time we arrived, Yuno was already fighting them."
I took a deep breath, suppressing the rising anger within me.
"Don't worry," I assured them. "I'll bring them back."
Releasing my magic sense at full power, I quickly locked onto Yuno's location. Without another word, I launched myself into the sky, flying at full speed toward the battlefield.
By the time I arrived, the fight was almost over. Yuno stood firm, but his enemies had already been subdued.
As I landed, Yuno turned to me in surprise. "Ryo? What are you doing here?"
"The kids from the church called me," I replied simply before glancing at the captured individuals. They were bound tightly, their grimoires floating nearby. Even Salim wasn't spared—his body restrained by thick plant magic.
Summoning my grimoire, I stepped forward.
Seeing this, Yuno immediately held out a hand. "Ryo, don't kill them."
I chuckled. "I won't. But I will make them suffer."
With that, I unleashed my magic.
A surge of Chaos Magic filled the air, crackling ominously. The captured individuals gasped as they were suddenly lifted into the air by an invisible force, their grimoires following suit. The plant magic binding Salim disintegrated effortlessly.
Before anyone could stop me, I raised a hand. A single bolt of chaotic energy shot forward—hitting their mana cores directly.
In an instant, their grimoires crumbled into particles.
They fell back to the ground, gasping in horror as realization dawned on them.
"You'll live," I said coldly. "Just without magic."
The man with glasses—one of Yuno's squadmates—stepped forward. "You shouldn't have done that."
I met his gaze. "Anyone who even thinks of hurting my family and friends will suffer the same consequence."
Sensing another presence atop the giant skull, I turned my head. Without another word, I flew upward.
Arriving at the top, I was met with the sight of none other than the Wizard King, Julius Novachrono.
He stood there with his usual amused expression, watching the events unfold.
"Excuse me, Wizard King," I said. "You don't need him for anything, do you?" Gesturing at the guy who was tied up on the floor.
Julius smiled, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "You know, it's not good to be this ruthless."
I shrugged. "Only to those who deserve it."
Then, without hesitation, I repeated my earlier actions—shattering the last man's mana core and watching as his grimoire disintegrated into nothingness.
Julius's eyes widened slightly. Then, a fascinated grin spread across his face.
"I knew it," he murmured. "There really is a mana core in everyone's body… And that magic—Chaos Magic, wasn't it? Mesmerizing, yet terrifying at the same time."
I chuckled as he showed his Magic Geek side.
Just then, a white communication spell appeared in front of him. Within it, a stern-faced man materialized.
"Wizard King! How long are you planning to fool around?!"
Julius childishly covered his ears. "You're too loud."
The man's voice only grew louder. "You need to return at once! Your work is piling up!"
Julius sighed in defeat. "Alright, alright… It's not healthy to be angry all the time, you know."
"Whose fault do you think that is?!" he snapped.
Watching this, I smirked. "Now I'm really glad I don't want to be the Wizard King."
Julius turned to me, surprised. "Oh? And why's that?"
I gestured toward the communication spell. "That exact reason. I'm not about to spend my life buried under piles of paperwork."
Julius chuckled. "Ahh, a free spirit. I like that."
With one last amused glance at me, he disappeared in a flash of time magic.
After finishing up with the Wizard King, I returned to the others, dragging the last man along with me. Without a word, I tossed him toward the man with glasses—Klaus—who caught him with a deep frown.
Just as I was about to leave, Salim, still trembling but trying to muster some arrogance, glared at me with bloodshot eyes.
"You'll regret this," he spat. "Just wait till I complain to my father—"
Before he could finish, I turned to him with a smile.
A smile filled with pure, unfiltered killing intent.
The air around us grew heavy. Salim's breath hitched as my presence alone pressed down on him like a nightmare made real.
"Go ahead," I said, my voice unnervingly calm. "But if you do… there won't be a Hapshass family in the Clover Kingdom anymore."
Salim's whole body locked up in terror. My golden eyes, now glowing ominously, seemed to pierce straight through him. My grin no longer looked human—it was the grin of a demon.
"I really don't want to kill innocent people," I continued, my tone still gentle. "So, let's not make this harder than it has to be, hmm?"
Salim swallowed hard. He didn't even dare nod—he just stood there, shaking, barely able to breathe.
Satisfied, I withdrew my killing intent, the oppressive atmosphere lifting instantly.
Klaus looked at me with narrowed eyes but said nothing. Yuno sighed, while Mimosa watched with an unreadable expression.
With that settled, we headed back to the church.
As we walked, Mimosa suddenly approached me, her eyes filled with curiosity.
"You know," she began, "the church looks quite beautiful. At first, we thought it was just a small, simple place… but when we arrived, we were honestly surprised." She smiled warmly. "Later, during dinner, the children told me you were the one who renovated it."
I returned her smile. "I'm glad you liked it."
She placed a hand on her chest and gave a small, polite bow. "I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Mimosa Vermillion."
"Ryo," I replied simply.
Like that, we chatted while making our way back.
Once inside, we had a simple but hearty dinner—nomo-tatoes. It was nostalgic, sitting together like the old days.
Before leaving, I reached into my storage and pulled out a large sack of coins, placing it in front of Father Orsi.
His eyes widened in shock, and within moments, they welled up with tears.
"Ryo… thank you," he said, his voice thick with emotion.
I just smiled. "Take care of everyone for me."
After that, we all parted ways—Yuno left with Klaus and Mimosa, escorting the prisoners back to the capital.
As for me?
I opened a portal and stepped through—returning to the Crimson Lion HQ.
I wasn't too concerned about Salim's revenge—after all, the Wizard King would probably take care of it if anything came up. So, after entering,I headed straight for my room to freshen up.
But on the way, I ran into Leopold and Erwin.
"Hey, Ryo, where were you?" Leopold asked curiously.
I stretched lazily. "Just went on a date with Luna. Why? Something important?"
Hearing this, Leopold looked at me weirdly before shaking his head. "Nah, but my brother's looking for you."
"Got it," I nodded, changing direction toward Fuegoleon's office.
As I entered, Fuegoleon glanced up from his desk, his sharp gaze locking onto me.
"I received a report that a boy wearing a Crimson Lion robe robbed a casino," he said, his tone even but firm.
I blinked, then immediately put on my best innocent face. "Umm… Captain, I won that money fair and square. They're just slandering me."
Fuegoleon sighed, rubbing his temples. But then, to my surprise, he chuckled.
"I know that," he said. "But you still gave me a headache cleaning up the aftermath."
Scratching the back of my head sheepishly, I grinned. "Ahaha… sorry, Captain. Won't happen again."
"Hope you keep your word," he said, though the amused glint in his eyes told me he wasn't too mad. With that, he waved me off.
Leaving the office, I made a beeline for my room.
(A/N: R-18 Ahead. Tread with caution.)
As I settled into the jacuzzi, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relaxation wash over me. The warm water soothed my muscles, and I was just starting to unwind when the door opened and Luna walked in. Her silver hair cascaded down her back like a river of moonlight, and her golden eyes sparkled with an otherworldly depth that always seemed to draw me in. Her skin had a radiant glow that was simply captivating.
I was stunned, so I just blinked and said, "Luna?"
She didn't say a word, just slipped out of her dress, revealing her slender figure. Her breasts were a perfect C-cup size—full and round with delicate pink nipples that stood erect in the cool air. As she got into the jacuzzi beside me, I caught a glimpse of her pussy—a small slit between her legs framed by slender thighs, completely smooth since she was clean-shaved. For a brief moment, I saw her clit peeking out from beneath its hood like a tiny pink pearl.
Luna sank into the water up to her shoulders and looked at me with a sly smile. "What's going on?" I asked, still trying to process what was happening.
She slid closer, her body gliding through the water with ease, and sat next to me. Her breast brushed against my arm as she leaned in close, and her hand began to playfully dance across my chest. "Master," she said casually, "I've noticed you have a different kind of look for Vanessa and Mimosa. So I thought I'd take the lead in some things." Her hand drifted lower, teasing the edge of my abdominal muscles.
My heart started racing as I tried to wrap my head around what was happening. Before I could respond, she added, "Remember how I said we could cross that line after you turn 16? Well, since there are only two days left until your birthday... let's just say I'm taking an interest now." She slid her hand further down and rubbed my cock lightly with a gentle yet firm touch that sent shivers down my spine.
As she teased me, her hand began to move in slow, gentle strokes, wrapping around my cock with a firm yet delicate touch. I felt myself growing harder under her strokes as she smiled knowingly. "You're so big and hard already," she purred in a husky voice.
Slowly, she started increasing the speed, her hand moving faster and faster, pumping my cock in a smooth rhythm. I was gasping for breath, on the edge, losing control, when she stopped, leaned closer, her lips inches from mine, and whispered with a mischievous smile, "Not yet."
Without a word, Luna leaned closer, her lips brushing against mine in a deep, passionate kiss. Her tongue slid into my mouth, exploring its depths with an intense hunger and desire that left me breathless. I could feel our hearts racing, our chests pressed together, as we savored the moment.
As we broke apart for air, Luna's eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. She slid her body lower, her mouth closing around the head of my cock in an unfamiliar yet thrilling fashion. She was unsure how to proceed at first, but her uncertainty gave way to tentative exploration. She took small pauses, adjusting before resuming again, trying different techniques, taking me deeper before gasping softly at how much I was filling her, the sensation almost overwhelming, almost choking her with immense pleasure.
I felt a rush of sensations, breathless from the warmth and gentle suction of her tongue and lips sending shivers down my spine. Her tongue rolled and swirled, tracing the veins and ridges of my cock, waves of pleasure coursing through my body. The sensation of her mouth moving along the length of my cock was overwhelming, like a tidal wave crashing against the shore. I felt lost in the rhythm of her movements, the way her lips and tongue worked together to create a sensation that was both gentle and intense.
She took my cock deeper into her mouth, feeling the softness of her throat and the slight roughness of her tongue brushing against me, these mix of textures and sensations left me gasping for breath. She sucked stronger, more insistent, and I felt the building climax, the pressure growing inside me, becoming almost unbearable.
Finally, I came, the sensation of release like a dam breaking, the pent-up tension and pressure flooding out in a rush of pleasure that left me trembling. Luna pulled back slowly, revealing the cum inside her mouth before swallowing, her eyes locked with mine, making my heart skip a beat.
After stepping out of the bath, the warmth still clinging to our skin, we took our time drying each other off. My hands moved slowly over Luna, enjoying the softness of her skin, while she did the same for me. The gentle touch sent a few shivers up my spine, and I could feel her lean into me more with each passing moment.
Once we were dry, we slipped into our nightwear and climbed into bed. The cool sheets felt nice against our warm skin as Luna nestled up to me, tracing light patterns on my chest. I ran my fingers through her silver hair, enjoying the peaceful silence between us, just the sound of our steady breaths filling the room.
I tilted her chin up, stealing a slow, deep kiss—one that lingered, as if we were trying to make the feeling last forever. When we finally pulled apart, she let out a soft sigh and rested her head against me.
With our bodies close, wrapped in each other's warmth, sleep took over. My mind drifted back to everything that happened before this moment, but right now, all I cared about was Luna in my arms. It was a perfect way to end the day.
(A/N: Sheesh! 8k words, I'm completely drained after writing this chapter. I really hope those of you who came for the R-18 content are getting what you came for! Writing these scenes in first person with zero personal experience? Yeah, it's a lot. But hopefully, it was worth it for you all. Anyway, catch you in the next chapter!)
(P.S: Since you all are here, any thoughts on a name for the Phoenix? Drop your suggestions, I'm all ears!)
