Chapter 15: End of war 1

Ryan moved smoothly, like a shadow in the night, thanks to his mastery of light sprinting. He slipped through the walls like a ghost, leaving behind a sea of blood and enemies who had fallen beneath his sword. It was a sight that was both terrifying and impressive. The soldiers who saw him paused for a moment, stunned by his ferocity and precision.

From afar, General Kylos watched the scene, astonishment written all over his face. "Is that Ryan?" he wondered to himself, seeing the young man's courage and determination. In the blink of an eye, Kylos issued his orders:

"Don't let them near the gate! Archers, target the siege soldiers!"

"Bring more oil and light the ladders! There's no turning back now!"

As the soldiers listened to the orders, Kylos' voice caught their attention as he pointed at Ryan.

"See that boy fighting over there? That's Ryan... our king!"

For the first time, Kylos recognized Ryan as king in his heart.

"The king is fighting?" one of the soldiers asked.

"Wait, I've seen the king before, but I didn't recognize him because of the blood!"

When the soldiers learned that the king was fighting beside them, their fighting spirit was reignited. They fought with unprecedented ferocity.

"What? Can I upgrade skills in this world?" Ryan asked in amazement. "I thought I could only upgrade in the Hunter Realm due to the lack of experience from killing enemies in battle!"

Suddenly...

BAM!

A thunderous sound echoed around, announcing that the enemies had broken through the gate.

Kylos cursed loudly and rushed to the front to face the threat head-on. From the other side, two hostile generals, Kai and Caster, appeared, leading thousands of soldiers.

"Haha! We're finally going to end this war!" Kai exclaimed with a wry smile.

"You're right, Caster. It's time to go home!"

Kylos approached with steady steps, facing them with a defiant glare.

"Haha! See you again, assholes!"

Kai replied sarcastically:

"Hahaha, finally out of your shell, turtle! I'm ready to bury you myself in your honor!"

But Kylos replied coldly:

"Don't get too excited, Kai. You just broke through the 3-star level. Are you ready to see your end?"

Caster interjected:

"Hmmm, it's two against one. It's a foregone conclusion."

Kylos smiled wickedly and said:

"Then let's have a battle of the generals. If you dare, two against one, winner takes all. What do you say?"

Kai mumbled skeptically:

"We have the advantage here. Why should we?"

But Caster interrupted:

"I agree. We've lost too many soldiers, and if we continue this for no good reason, we'll be blamed even if we win. Fighting among generals would be more honorable."

"Don't worry, Kai. You'll fight against Kylos since you're both warriors, and I'll support you from behind!" Caster said.

The confrontation began at lightning speed. Kai stepped forward first, his sword gleaming in the sunlight, while Caster stepped back, ready to fire his deadly arrows. Kylos stood in the center, sword in hand, his eyes watching every move.

Kai attacked with power, his blows swift and fierce, but Kylos deftly dodged each strike, using his superior fencing skills.

"You're fast, Kai, but you're not fast enough!" Kylos said as he countered with a powerful blow that forced Kai to retreat.

At that moment, Caster fired an arrow at Kylos, but the latter quickly dodged it, using his sword to block the arrow.

"Caster, you need to improve your aim!" Kylos said sarcastically.

On the other side, Caster watched intently. He fired a new arrow, charged with fire energy, toward Kylos. The arrow hit his armor, causing a small explosion that disoriented him for a moment.

Kai took advantage of that moment and delivered a powerful blow to Kylos' shoulder, severely injuring him.

Despite his wounds, Kylos held on. He refocused and attacked Kai with all his might, delivering a decisive blow to his armor. The metallic sound of the sword hitting Kai's armor was deafening, forcing the latter to retreat with stumbling steps.

But Caster, who didn't stop supporting, fired a decisive arrow into Kylos' chest. The arrow pierced through his armor, causing him to fall to his knees, gasping in exhaustion and pain.

"It's over..." Kai said as he raised his sword toward Kylos.

No, it's not the end.

Amidst the din of battle and the shouts of the soldiers, Ryan moved like a shadow in the darkness of the night. He moved with incredible agility, utilizing all the stealth and light sprinting skills he had learned. His eyes were fixed on his target: Caster, the famous archer, who at that moment was distracted and busy observing the battlefield, unaware of the approaching danger.

Ryan, seeing an opportunity, gripped his sword tightly. He felt the weight of the moment but did not hesitate. He darted like an arrow, aiming his sword at Caster's chest with all his strength and focus, determined to end the battle with one fatal blow.

But Caster, with the experience of a seasoned warrior who had survived hundreds of battles, sensed something was wrong. He had a gut feeling, an instinct that woke up at the crucial moment. Before the sword pierced his chest, he instinctively waved his hand in front of him, a desperate attempt to deflect the blow.

The sword, thrust with deadly force and determination, slammed into Caster's arm. A metallic sound followed, accompanied by a thunderous scream as his arm was completely obliterated, flying away from his body. Caster survived, but at a great cost: the loss of his hand, the most important tool in his profession as an archer.

"Agh!" Caster screamed as he fell to his knees, clutching his bleeding shoulder. His pain-filled eyes met Ryan, who stood over him, his sword still dripping blood.
