BEYOND THE BLAZE

The followers widely opened their eyes as they witnessed the most intimidating aura ever; they shook in their boots while they were hiding behind trash cans.

"What is that in front of Akirion?" Liberty asked, his eyes glued to Akirion's side.

"I don't know; my question is, what was that, the thing that made a strong falling sound?" Anda replied, her body trembling.

"I don't know; my mind is totally blank. That thing looks scary. It's sending chills down my spine every time I set my two orbs on it!" Liberty replied, his eyes trembling as he spoke about his feelings.

Erlin remained silent, fear getting her two feet to wildly shake as she got overwhelmed by the scary and overwhelmingly intense aura that was looming around her sister's side.

"Wait, what's happened to Erlin?" Renn asked, his lips vibrating.

"She's so quiet!" Liberty added as he turned his eyes towards Erlin, who was on his right side.

"Yeah, I don't blame her; I can't even stop my knees from shaking." Anda added.

Renn looked stressed a bit and said, "I'm even struggling to breathe, and I wonder if I can stand!"

Anda added, "I'm feeling it too; I'm feeling like lying down on my back."

The followers discussed, their noses closed as the smell prevailed and increased too. Their eyes were trembling while glued to Akirion's side, where the monster was.

Meanwhile, on Akirion's side. He made a conversation with the monster while Elina was down on her knees, unable to collect herself since she had no strength to stand up or move a muscle.

Akirion's lips were stretched, a grin printed on his face, while it was the same for the monster that was slowly going towards Akirion and Elina.

"So what are we supposed to call you?" Akirion asked out of curiosity since monsters never introduced themselves before, so Akirion was more like blessed since he was about to get to know its name.

It responded, its smile still stuck on its face. Akirion's eyes widened as he finally received its real name instead of calling it a monster.

"Me and my kind, we are called…Draies! And I'm a Drai, not a monster. That's disrespectful to me!" The monster said as it prepared a cool stance to be seen as a hero somehow.

Akirion grasped the name and replied, "Ohh, that's good to know, Drai! I'll keep this name in my mind until I meet another type of a Drai!"

"That's totally ridiculous. You should be begging for your life, not having hope of meeting the other me. Today, this is your last day alive, human, or more of a monster killer."

"What? I'm not a monster killer!" Astonishment filled Akirion up.

"You killed one!"

"It was to save my skin, not just to murder it," he said, his hands folded while he looked away.

"It's not the first time! Tch, you know what? Just forget it and plot your last words before I finish you." The monster got annoyed and swiftly attacked Akirion.

He started dodging every punch without sending another attack.

They continued their conversation while they fought.

"Ohh, before you die then…!" Akirion said, a scary grin on his face as he glared and observed every move of the Drai.

"No, you die, not me!" It replied, a bit more annoyed.

"Yes! You die. Would you mind telling me about you guys? You are confusing me a bit. At school, I saw one with a brown aura and…" He paused as he barely dodged the punch that was initiated against him. He then continued after he was in safety, "That was a nice attack, Drai; I'm loving your moves!"

"Tch, shut up, you pest!" It angrily said, its blazing gaze on Akirion as it attacked.

"Huh, 'Did he just call me a pest?' Okay then, as I was saying, its color was brown too, but you have this orange aura, and your color is different; you are too blackish compared to that one."

"Such a big question on your death day, human? Super foolish if you ask me. If I have to reply to that, I'll say you should make me say so before your last breath." The Drai replied, its attacks flying towards Akirion. It continued saying, "By the way, should I play with that girl too, since you like to dance?" It sneered since it had a clear shot at Elina while Akirion dodged to a place a bit far away.

Akirion made a scary glance at the Drai, and it sneered intensely. Akirion swiftly appeared infront of Elina for defense and sneered at the Drai.

"Aww man, I didn't make my move!" the Drai muttered and that time, Elina recollected herself, and before she scanned the monster twice, Akirion asked for a favor.

He looked behind him and saw Elina's eyes on the monster, and that's when he said, "Hey, can you do me a favor?"

She replied and said, "Imhh" while her eyes were fastly observing the Drai.

"May you go around these shops and search for a blacksmith, we don't have time, this thing can be super stronger than the one at school, so since I left my sword at.…." Before Akirion finished talking, the monster clenched its fists and charged towards Akirion and Elina.

It said, "Hey Hey, stop gossiping, I thought maybe women were the ones capable of doing that maybe!" it ran towards Akirion while talking.

"Shut up you foolish Drai!"

"Grrr, what did you just say? You'll regret your behavior damnit."

"Go go go and fetch me a sword!" he softly said to Elina and instantly, she moved away to safety, living Akirion fighting the Drai.

The monster attacked Akirion, and suddenly, Akirion formed a rock sword and blocked the punch from the Drai.

"Hey, where's she going, we are just getting started, we should enjoy altogether." it said, it's lips widely stretched.

"Ohh, if you can face me then I guess you can face her and enjoy with her."

"Ohh yeah, human girls are super beautif….. kueeewk!" Suddenly, Akirion sliced it's stomach and left the blood flowing down it's right side.

It turned and looked at Akirion, a intense grin on it's face, suddenly, Akirion got taken aback as he saw the Draemori back to normal, with no scratch on it's body.

"So, how did you feel, slicing through my stomach."

"Tiring!" Akirion replied, his eyes closed, his neck bent, hinting tiredness.

"What?"

"Do you think I enjoy fighting?"

"Of course, monster killer!" it yelled at Akirion while standing.

"Don't call me that you fool!"

"Grrr, you are still moving forward with your fool words, I told you what I was and your tongue keeps skipping the right words."

It charged towards Akirion, it's eyes scarily narrowed. Fear filled Akirion's heart, a simple gulp was heard, but he was able to block the attack.

He blocked the attacks , his face suddenly changed as he grinned while he exchanged shots with the monster.

"Let me tell you something you loser! Your name is like the whole eternity!" Akirion dissed.

"What?!"

"It's longer than a river damnit!"

"Grrr, stop calling me names dumbass. And I gave you a shorter one, the real name is Draemori!"

"Nobody got the guts to call me that you drae…. whatever!" Akirion said as he replied to dumbass.

The too raged a war, their bodies fastly defending and attacking at the same time.

Akirion was using his rock sword while the monster was proud of it's fists as it punched the air and Akirion's sword.
