NOVEL NEXT Chapter 66: The First
*Axel's POV*
"Grah,*Cough* *Cough* You mother fucker I am goi-"
"To do nothing, you broken piece of shit. Look at you; you can't even get up from the ground anymore."
After what seemed like an eternity, the fight between myself and the Hobgoblin Chief was finally ending. I had been beating him senseless for quite awhile. He could barely stand after all the punches he took to the body.
I used a simple method to wear down his defenses thoroughly. I was using a tried and true method from my old world. Pound the fuck out of his guts, give him internal bleeding, and hopefully displace organs to try and shred him from the inside out. To top it all off, I was forcing mana through his body with each hit of my own. It had the effect of amplifying the bodily harm done with each punch by literally forcing the foreign mana through his body making his regenerative systems shut down.
I glanced around to see the opposing side starting to dwindle to the last few dozen goblins. Then I glanced at my women, who all looked worn out from the prolonged battle.
Seeing an opportunity to try something, I picked the Hobgoblin up and moved him towards his subordinates. I tossed his limp body into the thick of their group. They all started scrambling to help their Chief, but I wouldn't give them the chance to help him.
I gathered power at an intense rate for the next attack while I moved to stand beside my women.
"All of you brace yourself; I have not used this attack before and don't know how it will act, so just to be safe, please stay behind me."
"Of course."
"Sure."
"If you say so, love."
"Just make it fast, please." X2
"Sure, but you will owe me you, big lug."
They all had their reactions to my words, but all were supportive. Mia's words at the end made me raise a brow at the beautiful woman.
I nodded at her with a silly smile on my face. I still hadn't done anything more than oral with Mia and Leah. They both wanted more time to get to know me and the girls. I didn't quite understand, but I respected their wishes all the same. After all, we all came from a world where relationships that worked took ages to become solid enough to do those kinds of things.
"I will give you something to remember, Mia, I promise." She blushed at my meaning but held my gaze fervently.
I winked before focusing on the group of goblins in front of me.
I took a deep breath to calm my nerves before I whispered the name of the skill I wanted to use.

*Dirk's POV*
{It is the captain from the last two chapters. I decided to give him a name finally, even though this will most likely be the extent of his POV... Maybe...}
I felt like I had become numb to the sight before me. The man just pummeled the Chief with relative ease. It certainly was a sight to see.
Watching as the last hit landed and the Hobgoblin was smashed into the ground again, I heard bits and pieces of their conversation. Never in my life would I think that the man would pick the thing up and throw it back to his subordinates.
I was about to say something when I watched him jump to a closer location. He landed amidst his lovers, and I heard him say something that made my whole body shiver in fear for some reason.
"All of you brace yourself; I have not used this attack before and don't know how it will act, so just to be safe, please stay behind me."
Every member of my party had a pale face when they heard his words. I didn't hesitate, turning in the opposite direction and running as fast as possible. My party followed right after me, all sensing the danger in his words. This was not a place to stay and watch anymore. We had to get to cover.
Just as I was reaching one of the towering trees, I heard the sound of death behind me. His voice was quiet, but even miles away from them, we all heard his words clearly.
"Star Fall."
Just two simple words darkened the entire world around us before multiple bright lights lit up the sky again. The lights quickly got closer and closer, giving off an aura so powerful that I didn't think the dungeon could handle it.

*Mia's POV*
I watched as the man I loved summoned literal stars for his next attack. The other day, he had told me about 'Star Fall', saying it was an (AOE) attack skill. He thought it would be something simple like forming balls of light above an opponent's group and peppering them with it.
I knew something he could do would never be that simple, especially with a name like 'Star Fall'. We both agreed he should try it in the dungeon, and I could see he had found his opportunity.
I could only smile as I looked up at the stars falling from space, shooting straight at the group of goblins. They all had different colors. I could also only count six enormous stars falling.
Granted, that was plenty, but it seemed more than a coincidence. I felt like each star represented each of the women in his life. They even seemed to have our personalized colors among them.
Pink, purple, violet, red, green, and gold colors showered down on us with gentle rays that seemed to give us more energy. However, when the rays of color showered on the goblin horde, it was like they never existed.
Everything went silent momentarily, like the world was holding its breath. It wasn't until the stars in the sky receded that the dungeon came back to life. Then, like the guy he was, Axel broke the mood with his words.
"Huh, I thought it would be a big boom or something with a name like 'Star Fall'."
"Pfft, are you really saying that wasn't good enough for you?"

*Axel's POV*
"Huh, I thought it would be a big boom or something with a name like 'Star Fall'."
"Pfft, are you really saying that wasn't good enough for you?"
"No not at all, I just felt for my first time using it it would have been a bit more... Boom boom..."
All the girls laughed at my face as we walked towards the Goblin Village that had finally been cleared for the first time. I was imagining what kind of loot we would get when I heard a trembling voice from a few miles away that drew my attention.
"I-I a-am a-alive? H-how is this possible? I saw the stars falling from the sky..."
After listening, I smirked before turning away.
"Axel, that attack is ridiculously overpowered. You understand that, right?"
I heard Silvara at my side as she asked a question I was silently pondering.
"Hmm? Ah, yeah, I know. It is super OP, but it isn't cost-effective right now."
"What do you mean?"
I took a breath and gathered my thoughts before answering.
"Well, I guess it would be simple to say that it uses mana faster than I can regenerate it or take it from the surroundings without being in a meditative state. Whereas the majority of my other skills, I don't even notice when activating because I never feel the mana drain."
Silvara nodded along even though her eyebrows were in her hair at the revalation. I know that my stats are overpowered, but the more I live in this world, the more I have a feeling that if I act too cockily, I will eventually end up paying a dear price because of it. Not that I didn't have pride in myself, but that doesn't mean I have to be arrogant.
"That is amazing, Axel; you might have one of the highest mana regeneration rates in the e world then."
Listening to what we were talking about, Leah broke in with a happy tone.
I smiled as I nodded my head and reached back to pat her head softly.
"Yeah, I guess so. Hey, it looks like we need to get the gate open."
I went to smash though with my fist but roots lifted the gate from the ground before I could even get close. I was stunned for a moment before I felt Leah grabbing my arm and resting it between her breasts.
"Axel, I can do those things for you... But I want to have some alone time with you soon."
"Of course, but you know if you just asked, I would make the time for you."
"I know, but I feel like it is better this way..."
She fluttered her eyelashes at me, blushing. Then, it hit me that she was trying really hard. My Leah was trying to take the last step in our relationship. All I could do was lean over and capture her lips in a light kiss that conveyed my love for the woman.
