Chapter 60: Axel's Assessment / Ruinton Dungeon
{I hope the recent couple of chapters have been better on the editing side of things; I am using a program now to help me correct what I miss, so I hope it is better. Have a great day!}
*Axel's POV*
I walked back towards the group as Silvara let the trembling Elf down to the ground. She looked directly at me as she licked the woman's juices off of her fingers.
"She is really sweet, my love. You should try her."
"Hey, don't try to set him up with more women already, Sil! Leah and I haven't even gone all the way with him yet."
"Ladies, I think I can make my own decisions..."
"Yeah, besides that, Elf is a total slut. She still can't take her eyes off of him."
"Axel, come over, and we will take care of your assessment now.
"Thanks, Kayla."
"Mhm."
"Yeah, look at her. She is still trying to touch herself!"
"Mia, you have that giant picture of Axel getting out of the bath hanging in your room that you mas-"
"Hello! No, nobody needs to know about that, Taylor! Besides, he is right there. I had shown you that in confidence..."
I left the women to bicker as I followed Kayla to the assessment crystal. I could see her shaking her head while glancing at the women and me.
"To think that you would be in a relationship like this. You were so hard up in the last world..."
"Correction, I was not hard up; I just picked who I was intimate with very carefully... I thought that I was going to come home and find you but... You were gone..."
A moment of melancholic silence passed before she seemed to snap out of the mood she was slipping into, though I could see a slight blush on her cheeks.
"Ok, then I need you to press your hand against this stone and pour a small amount of mana into it so the device can read your status."
"I got it. Thanks again for your help, Kayla; seeing you here is amazing."
I pressed my hand to the device before she could speak anything else, pouring an infinitesimally small amount of my mana into it. Instantly, it showed a bright light that I noticed when the girls did their assessments.
Slowly, a golden and silver aura was emitted from the crystal device before a small beam of light shot up into the air, which displayed my status page. Seeing that Sylph wasn't around made him flinch, though, because Sylph wasn't around, nobody could hide what needed to stay hidden.

The screen that appeared in the air before us was gold and silver in color. I watched in horror as it started showing everything, but with all of my will, I forced it to stop showing the following lines as they were personal, and no one needed to know which of the women I considered my mates... Which is every girl in my harem so far. I don't know what they would do, finding out that it is not necessary to mate with me to become my mate and earn benefits from me. Once again, my lack of trust and having been used too many times have reared their ugly heads at me again.
The assessment hall went silent as everyone present read my statistics. The first to break out of her head was Silvara, as her eyes instantly zeroed in on my position.
"Axel, why does this look so different from the normal page you show us?"
Her question was a hard one to answer for me, so I spent the next 20 minutes explaining to them about my time with Goddess Ayla and how I received super blessings pretty much. I also told them that Sylph usually would hide most of my status page so I don't bring untoward attention to myself before I can defend myself.
Thankfully, the girls didn't make too big of a stink about the situation. It didn't take the Elf much longer to get herself together, and she stopped trying to touch herself in front of me. My ladies all giggled at her antics, having concluded that it was hopeless to try to stop the Elf from trying to be with me.
"Well, Axel, here are your passes. On the card, you will see your clearance level for the level of strength your party possesses. I took the liberty to hide some of the titles and unnecessary things like your blessings."
"You are a lifesaver, Kayla; thank you so much. I don't know how I can make things up to you. From, well, everything we have been through to now, just helping me with this anyways, I hope you have been living a good life here..."
I trailed off, recognizing that I was rambling because I didn't honestly want to leave Kayla, considering we just met back up after a decade and a half.
"Don't mention it, you big lug. This is my job, ya know; they didn't make me the lead receptionist for all of the ADA for no reason, you know."
"That is true. Kayla has been revered in the ADA for her paperwork skills and amazing strength. There have been a couple of times that Kayla had to smash some punks face for tr-"
"That is enough, Serene; if you can't talk right, please keep your mouth shut."
Kayla's face had gone red as Serene talked, and she quickly covered her mouth with her hands."
I laughed at the two's antics; it seemed they were dear friends.
"I have an idea..." Leah spoke up softly but still drew everyone's attention to herself. I saw as she puffed up her chest slightly, probably hyping herself to talk about her plan in front of many people. It can be a bit intimidating, even for a cultivator.
"Why don't you just start to court the two of them? That way, you will be able to spend more time with Kayla. You will also get to know Serene for who she is behind the lusty Elf she is showing you right now."
I pondered Leah's suggestion momentarily before concluding my thoughts and responding.

As we walked down the street towards the dungeon after leaving the ADA Guild Hall, I kept thinking about the crazy situation I had found myself in since being in this world.
It still blows my mind that I have these six beautiful women all with me on this crazy journey we call life. I feel fortunate, though, knowing that they are all here for me, and I am there for them.
This mutual relationship I have with them makes me feel like there are butterflies fluttering in my stomach. It is so amazing that I would die without a second thought to preserve their love for me.
While ruminating on my thoughts, I felt a small hand grab one of my own and interlace our fingers.
I looked over to see Leah looking at me with a soft smile that made my breath hitch. Once again, I was blown away by her beauty.
"Stop getting lost in your head, my love; you must be present right now."
She spoke so softly and had such a warm tone that I felt all of my worries wash away, at least for the time being, and it was a good thing, too, because it was right then that I heard Mia's bubbly voice echo out.
"There it is, Axel, that is the dungeon entrance."
I looked away from Leah's face to see a chaotic sight. Adventurers were all over the place, buying and selling with hundreds of kiosks set up in the square before a towering cathedral-like building.
There had to be hundreds of kiosks set up out here. As we walked through the crowded square and approached the cathedral building, I could see its enormity rather clearly. This building seemed about as large as the ancient Roman Colosseum from history.
Just as we were getting ready to approach the entrance, someone called out to our group.
"Miss Taylor, is that you?"
I looked over to see an extremely handsome Centaur man walking towards us with a large smile on his face.
