I yelled at the man that is supposed to be the king of our nation. I had just received an order to bring Axel to the capital to meet with the king even though I expressly told him to leave Axel alone and to not bother him.
"What of it Byron? I am the king of the nation he lives in, if I want to meet the boy there is nothing that anyone can do to deny me." I watched the screen as he showed and arrogant expression on his face.
Seeing him act this way made me want to slap the fool. It seemed after all these years he has forgotten what would happen when he didn't follow orders when we were younger.
"Mathias, I specifically told you not to bother Axel, does this mean that you don't take my words to mean anything anymore?"
"Byron, what this means is that I am the King of this nation. My words are literally the law. Bring Axel here so I can assess him myself with in two weeks or I will directly declare that he is an enemy of the state. Is that what you want Byron?"
Once again he started talking like that to me, acting as if it wasn't really me and Darren holding his kingdom together.
I glanced up at my brother who had been sitting silently this whole time as I spoke to Mathias. Seeing me looking in his direction he gestured for the phone. Handing it to him I was curious as to what he would say.
"Matty, listen there is something you need to understand."
