Beginning Beyond The Horizon

Chapter 85: Chapter 85 The City Of Warriors Part 21

Yul watches as the bed with the dead soldier flipped over and Feng who was deeply asleep takes its place.

"We are in the same room as him," said Hui, pointing to the Feng on the bed.

Yul said, " Get him off of that bed."

Ping and Hui pulled Feng from the bed and put him on the floor next to the table. Ping pulled out a piece of cloth and looked at it. "I don't understand the written contents," he says, handing the cloth to Yul.

Yul took the cloth and knew right away that it was Abrafo who wrote it. "It's Tanzanie," Yul said, reading the message on the cloth. "Abrafo said he is safe. There is still another soldier with Abrafo in the room, and the door couldn't be opened from inside."

"We speak the same language, but writing is very different," said Chen.

Yul said, "For security reasons, different Kingdom usually has its own writing content." He looked at the dead soldier; his head had already formed. "Put him on the bed."

Ping and Hui dragged the dead soldier's body and laid him on the bed, but nothing seemed to happen. The group of people waited for a long time, watching the dead soldier's body twisting on the bed.

Ping said, "That's not good, what if Sir Abrafo falls asleep."

Hui said, "We were not tired when we got to that room, but after a while, maybe less than the time to burn an incense stick, we got tired and fell asleep."

Yul said with a heavy heart, "Abrafo had been gone longer than the time to burn one incense stick."

Just when Yul thinks he needs to find a solution, the bed where the dead soldier is suddenly overturned, and Abrafo and Xiang from the other room appear on the bed. Ping said happily, "Captain Yul, Sir Abrafo and Xiang..."

Yul turns to look at the bed and sees Abrafo and Xiang sleeping on the bed. Yul said, "Pull them out quickly."

Ping and Hui quickly pulled Abrafo and Feng from the bed to the floor.

Yul took the written handkerchief from Chen and pierced his sword through the handkerchief. He thrust his sword into the unopened door. Yul retracted the sword, and the handkerchief was gone, so he slipped the sword back into the scabbard on his back.

Yul turned and looked at the people behind him, and said, "All we have to do is wait for your lord to open the door for us."

Bailong looked at his nine sons and said, "Let's just take it as your experience. If one day, our most terrifying fears become reality, maybe this battle will help you mentally prepare yourselves when battling with the Son of Fire."

The nine youths nodded to Bailong.

Bailong and his nine sons stood in a row facing the thousands of stone soldiers' oncoming. Bailong sighed, and said, "Here they come..." Bailong and his sons changed into their original forms.

Bailong, Baishan, and Baichao flew into the sky and shot beams of light at the stone soldiers below. Baiwen, Baiming, and Baian began to attack the stone soldiers on land, while Baide, Baigang, Baishui, and Baidu dived into the ground.

Baide, Baigang, Baidu, and Baishui surrounded the stone soldier with magic, forming a magic field, making it impossible for the stone soldier to step out of the magic circle, but the stone soldier continued to walk out of the gate.

Sitting on the eagle's back, Hajime was above the city, looking down at the people fighting below, and seeing the ten dragons gaining the upper hand, he also breathed a sigh of relief. The ten dragons surrounded the stone soldiers within their range, and they fought hard to prevent the stone soldiers from going further into the woods. Hajime watched the young man standing on the city wall and found that the young man was motionless. He just stood there; his body was as transparent as an image on a projector, and Hajime could see through him.

Hajime mumbled to himself, "The false image of the leader makes the soldiers want to continue fighting."

The big eagle flew over the city, and from where Hajime was, he could see that the dust from the destroyed Fairy Ring Circles had dissipated to the point where he could breathe normally, but from the dust he could see the towering palace buildings, which had not been touched by dust. He flew straight to the palace on the eagle. When Hajime approached the palace, he saw his panther and three wolves standing in the middle of the palace courtyard without Yul, Abrafo, Lixin, or Lixin's soldiers.

The big eagle landed in the yard, and Hajime jumped off the eagle's back. Hajime turned to the eagle and said, "Be my eyes and keep watch for me."

The eagle flew into the sky and hovered over the palace continuously.

Hajime walked to his cravings and asked, "Where are they?"

The panther and the wolves bowed their heads, indicating that they could no longer smell the others. Hajime sighed, and muttered to himself, "If I can become a better and stronger mage, I would give you the magic to track scent." He patted one of the wolves on the head.

Hajime looked to the left and found three doors suspended in the air in the middle of the courtyard. He walked around the three door panels and muttered, "What are the three doors in the middle of the courtyard for? Who put them here?"

Lixin was still staring at the dresser in shock, how could one of the soldiers suddenly disappear into the dresser. Suddenly, a sword stabbed twice from the side of the dresser, and a bloody handkerchief fell to the floor next to the dresser. Lixin picked up the handkerchief, and it seemed that the bloody handkerchief was written for him.

"Open the door of the dresser, let us get out, Yul..." Lixin said, looking at the dresser standing a few feet away from him, then at the other two soldiers.

Lixin wasn't sure if he was going to open the door of the dresser because since they entered this room, nothing was normal, first he heard voices telling him his soldiers were fake, then his soldiers started attacking him like they were possessed, another soldier suddenly appear from nowhere, then a sword somehow stabbed out of the dresser, and now a bloody handkerchief with a message for him to open the dresser door. He hesitated for a while whether to open the dresser door, after careful consideration, Lixin decided to open the dresser door.

Lixin pointed at Heng and Shi with his sword and said, "It would be great if I opened this door and your friends came out of it, but if it is not your friends who comes out of the dresser, but a monster, you two tied together like this will definitely end up being the one who comes out of that dresser's food, but if we pull it together as a team, I know we'll make it through." He looked straight at the two soldiers' eyes. "Will you two attack me if I open the dresser door?"

Heng and Shi looked at each other and understood that although the person in front of them was a demon, it seemed that the demon had not done anything bad to them other than binding them together. The two soldiers nodded to each other, and Shi said, "If you untie us, we won't attack you."

Lixin swung his sword and cut the curtain that connected the two soldiers together. Heng and Shi picked up their swords and looked at Lixin. "What do you need us to do?" Heng asked.

Lixin said, "Each of you open a door panel, remember to be careful of the sword piercing through the dresser."

Heng and Shi slowly opened the door panels and Lixin raised his swords; ready to stab any non-human coming out of the dresser.

In order to avoid Lan Huan's vines, Michio did eight backflips and landed on the throne. Seeing Michio successfully land on the throne seat unharmed, Lan Huan became even more angry. She screamed and shot all ten vines at Michio.

Michio bounced in the air, rolled over the top of the vines, and rushed towards Lan Huan. During the process, Michio reached into his robe, took out a talisman, and shot the talisman at Lan Huan.

Michio's talisman hit Lan Huan on the face, Lan Huan screamed, three vines rose from the ground, tightly wrapped around Michio's left leg, and threw Michio into the air. Lan Huan flew forward quickly, punching Michio's abdomen heavily. Lan Huan's hard punch sent Michio crashing into one of the stone pillars in the throne hall. Lan Huan disappeared, and then reappeared in front of Michio, pinching Michio's neck with her right hand, and squeezing hard.

Still pinching Michio's neck with her right hand, Lan Hun picked up Michio from the ground and faced Michio face to face. "Why can't you leave us alone?" Lan Huan roared at Michio, continuing to pinch Michio's neck.

Michio gasped, "Because I need that Key."

Lan Huan gritted her teeth. "I sacrificed my soul to keep this key here. If you want it… you have to destroy me." She continued to pinch Michio's neck angrily.
