Begin Again In Marvel

Then I head back to the village and see I have over 10k undead. I checked and saw around 5k Death Knights and 4.5k Death Warriors, and the rest were liches or Dragon Priests. I was surprised to learn that the Conjure Dragon Priest worked like the Summon Undead spell. I asked the nearest clone to see how much the continent was cleared of Grimm.

Clone: "I would say about 60% and it's increasing by about 10% per day. However, the undead won't be able to get the last 5% as it is too close to civilization."

Rio: "Well let's clear what we can then we can move on to the other continents. Have any spawning pools been found?"

Clone: "Surprisingly yes but so far only one. If I had to guess I think there is likely one per continent but I suppose I could be wrong."

Rio: "I will begin the summoning of Principalities and Cherubims."

The clone nods and then walks away as I begin the long process of summoning. After I finish with that I move into orbit. I release the Halberd in orbit and go inside. I make sure the ship is functioning and then leave it in orbit to gather materials in space. Once I get back on the planet I put on my Nahkriin mask and teleport to an island where Dr. Merlot is hiding. I teleport right behind him and knock him out before draining him of everything he knows.

[Drained Knowledge = + 6 Intelligence]

'Not much but still pretty good for a single person.'

I disabled all the devices and traps the island has then killed all the Grimm and other creatures he made. I stopped at a cryo pod that contained an individual I was surprised was even still intact. Inside this pod are the remains of Summer Rose. The good doctor had found the body by chance and recovered it after realizing what she was. According to the memories he knew the stories of the silver eyes and wanted to replicate them and make them a part of humanity's new evolution. I decided to do something I had been putting off for a while due to its cost. I purchased the Resurrect spell for 10 million which can resurrect anybody at the cost of levels/power so long as some of the body remains. The cost technically didn't hurt as I have made 10 million in this trial already. I released the body and used the spell.

Rio: "Resurrect."

A flash of light covers Summer Rose's body before her body turns into a white slime and reforms into her body. I quickly cover her body so she isn't naked. I move her body to a nearby bedroom so she can wake up in a bed. I wait around for her to wake up. I take off Nahkriin and transform into the Alicorn form to sell the idea that I am not from this world.

Summer: "Ugh. W-where am I?"

Rio: "Welcome back to the land of the living Summer Rose."

Summer: "W-what are y-you."

Rio: "I am an Alicorn you can consider me an immortal race of Equine that moves celestial objects. I resurrected you and that is why your speech is slurred. The resurrection often has that effect on beings."

Summer: "R-rethurrection, y-you can bring the dead back to life?"

Rio: "Yes, now I know you have many questions but you need to rest for now as your body is getting used to being alive again. I left some Onigiri and a glass of water on the table next to you if you get hungry or thirsty. Oh and don't worry about your family I will take you to see them once your speech improves and I am sure you have settled with the resurrection. Finally, I will see about getting you clothes."

I get up and leave her to her own devices as I decide to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

'Let's get rid of Watts and also get some clothing. Thankfully the good doctor had plenty of money for me to use.'

I do the same process I did with Merlot.

[Drained Knowledge = + 5 Intelligence]

'Meh not bad, now time to get some clothing. I am sure she will want red. I refuse to buy her underwear she can just go commando for a while.'

POV Ozpin

I was having an outright panic attack. I had no idea what in the world was going on. A massive magic signature had appeared under Beacon and before I could get down to investigate, it vanished and with it the ENTIRE vault. I don't even know how they did it. I thought it might have been Salem but she isn't that powerful. At least I hope she isn't. I felt faint magic signatures from all around the world then the big one happened. I am still shaking at the power I felt coming from what was probably Menagerie. I had never felt such powerful magic before and whatever it was it left behind something. I wanted to investigate but I was too scared to go there. I sent Qrow but I am not so certain he will return.

'I need a drink.'

POV Salem

I was sitting in my castle pondering on what I had felt.

'Such powerful magic. Have the gods returned? If that was the case I would have known someone was gathering the relics but I heard nothing. Maybe it was Ozma, no impossible that fool gave up most of his magic power long ago. I have also lost most Grimm on Menagerie. I fought the gods but I never felt magic this strong before. Could the gods have gotten stronger since the last I saw them? I will send my Grimm to see what cast such a powerful magic and if it is not the gods then perhaps I can negotiate with this new person. Time will tell and I have unlimited of that.'

POV Rio

I had just returned to Merlots Island which I was thinking of making into a staging ground for my soon-to-be nearly infinite undead army. I knocked on the door before entering and delivered the clothing to Summer.

Rio: "Sorry for not purchasing underwear for you but I am afraid I am not comfortable purchasing such clothing items. The clothing I bought should fit you if it doesn't let me know and I can resize it with magic."

Summer bows her head.

Summer: "Thank you for resurrecting me!"

Rio: "You're welcome and I am surprised to see you have recovered so quickly. Let me do a quick scan and I will see if you are ready to go home."

I scanned her and learned that with just a single night of rest, she had fully recovered. Well except for her strength/levels, she will have to train to get that back.

Rio: "Okay great news you are all better get changed and we can leave whenever you want."

Summer: "Wait! You haven't told me your name."

Rio: "Ah well you can call me Rio."

I wait for Summer to get changed and once she is done I open a portal to just outside her home property line. Once we walk through I can sense she is very nervouscited as she isn't sure she is ready to see her family after so many years.

Rio: "You have been given a second chance at life. You may have been absent from their lives until now but I assure you they will not care they will just be happy you are home. Love is more precious than gold, but it cannot be sold. When it breaks, it's not ended, for quickly it's mended. It can never be bought yet is easily sought. Now go and say hello. If you ever need me use this ring. Twist the ring and say my name and I shall come or at least I will talk to you even if I cannot be seen."

Summer walks forward to the front door and turns around only to see I have vanished she looks at the ring and knocks on the door.

POV Summer

After I knock on the door I squeeze the ring and try to be brave. I hear someone approaching the door and when someone opens it I am brought to tears as I see Taiyang. I see his eyes widen and tears start to fall for him as well.

Taiyang: "Summer? Is that you?"

Summer: "Yes, I am home. I am sorry I took so long."

We hug and I feel like a weight I didn't realize was there is lifted.

Yang: "Dad who is at the door?"

I see Yang and I smile brightly.

Yang: "M-mom?"

Summer: "Yes sweetie, come here and hug me."

Yang: "Mom! Oh, I missed you so much! Oh, Ruby will be so happy to see you."

Ruby: "Yang what are you screaming about?"

Yang: "Ruby come here someone has come to see us."

Ruby: "Who has come to visit this early in the morn... MOM!"

I brace for impact as Ruby runs at me using her semblance and I feel the pain from the tackle.

Summer: "Easy Cookie Monster I am not quite as strong as I used to be. I am so happy to see you. All of you. Now I know you have a lot of questions and I have them too since I only recently came back. As in yesterday. So I have no idea how long I have been dead or what happened in the meantime."

Taiyang: "Wait dead? What do you mean dead till recently?"

Ruby: "Huh are you a zombie?"

Yang: "No she can't be a zombie she isn't eating our brains. Or at least mine and Dad's brains as yours is just full of cookies."

Ruby: "Hey! My brain is not full of cookies. I am very smart and sophisticating."

Summer: "Hahah! Oh, I missed this so much. To answer your questions it's a weird story but no I am not a zombie I have just been resurrected."

They all give me confused looks and I realize this is going to be a long talk.

POV Rio

After Summer met her family I left and went to find my next victim, I mean target. Yeah, target. I use my Palantir to see where Lionheart is and after making sure he is alone I teleport to him and use Drain Knowledge to gain everything I can from him. I then use the USB to enter his computers which gives me access to everything in his records. I then decide to rapidly teleport across the world and kill all the people that Salem has as agents or spies. I figured it would be the wisest course of action. I also made pit stops to kill some criminals, Adam Taurus, and Jacques Schnee. With each kill, I gained knowledge of more agents which led me to kill a lot of people. I didn't attack the Branwen Tribe yet. I also didn't kill Cinder instead I captured her to see if I could extract the Maidens power from her.

[Drained Knowledge = + 39 Intelligence]

'For how many I killed I think it is a bit low but a lot of the knowledge was not very useful so getting as much as I did was lucky enough. Now to steal all the wealth from all of those people and send it to myself. Thanks to all the drained knowledge I know exactly when I am. Right before Beacon starts their entrance exams. Now do I bother hiring Roman and Neo? Their skills are useful but I can do what they can do but better so I am leaning towards killing them. Oh someone is messaging me.'

Lich: "Lord Nahkriin we have transported the army to the island as you requested. Not long after we had left I was told by your clones that a Qrow Branwen arrived to investigate. What would you like us to do?"

Rio: "Nothing ignore him. I will deal with them later for now continue growing the army's size. I have a plan to gather our enemies but I will need time for it."

From there a month passed as we grew our army massively and we closed all the spawning pools on all the continents but the continent of Darkness. We had made an army of over a million undead and I was getting the army ready to invade the land of darkness. The higher-ranked people were panicking as Theodores went missing and so did several thousand other people almost all criminals. I was spying on Ozma and Salem throughout the entire month to see how they were reacting and no surprise both were trying to track me down. Both were also very confused as to why all the Grimm were disappearing at a rapid rate. I had also prepared a move that could cause a lot of chaos but would hopefully eliminate a threat to this world's future peace.

Clone: "Hey we have just confirmed the last of the Grimm is now gone from the other continents. Also, we finished the curse signal amplifier. I know I am you but are you sure this is the best way to go about this?"

Rio: "Definitely we will extinguish the Grimm then remove Atlas as the superpower of this world. As for Salem once we rid her of her army she will not be all that difficult to eliminate or at least seal. Now are the orders programmed in?"

Clone: "Yep, I just checked it. This will be fun to watch. Though it does leave an unpleasant taste in my mouth that we have to use that man's strategy."

Rio: "Trust me I despise that man just as much as you do but it was a sound strategy and I see no reason to not use it. Now start the deployments as Qrow will reach this island in less than a day."

The clone gives me a thumbs up and begins making numerous massive gates that open up on the land of darkness. Over a million undead and tens of thousands of Angels rush through the gate and I send my clone to follow them.

POV Clone

Clone: "My army in the wise words of a slayer. RIP AND TEAR!!!!!!!"

A massive hoard starts to slash and tear everything in their way. The Angels start working on destroying the Spawning Pools. I see the Halberd overhead blasting everything flying with its many guns. Black dust rains from the sky and I take out both my lightsabers and start cutting all the Grimm in my way. The Liches are either raising Beowolves as undead or sending many magic attacks down range at the Grimm. Only the most powerful Grimm can fight the Death Knights and Warriors due to the massive level and power difference. I keep slashing and slashing. In just thirty minutes we had slain hundreds of thousands of Grimm and destroyed hundreds of spawning pools. The Cherubims had been placed at our rear to fight off the Grimm attracted after I used the Staff Of Creation and the Curse Signal Amplifier to draw every last Grimm on the planet towards us. The device had a very useful feature built in it made the Grimm go mad and refuse to listen to orders. As we were fighting I sensed a massive creature behind us and when I looked at it I saw a Leviathan. It was somewhere around 500 meters long and it was being absolutely bullied by the Cherubims who were ripping pieces of it off and the Leviathan was screaming in agony. I focused on the few hundred thousand Grimm left and kept slaughtering to my life's content. After cutting a Deathstalker down the middle I heard a roar in the distance and I saw the Wyvern.

'I was wondering when we were going to teleport that over here. Now let's see if the Halberd can take it down.'

I get my answer fairly quickly when the main cannon of the Halberd charges up and fires a massive blue beam of energy. The Wyvern tries to dodge but fails and its left wing is vaporized. I see the Wyvernn crashing towards us and I use the Force to guide into the Grimm army.

BOOOOM

I don't wait around and start charging a very powerful ability. It takes a minute of charging but the Wvyern barely goes anywhere in the meantime. Right before I lose control of the technique I unleash it and everything in the way of the blast is vaporized by the super-condensed Dark Side Force energy. Once I recollect myself I look to see what happened to the Wyvern and see nothing but a trench dug from where I attacked to several miles out. Many hours later we had finished off the last of the Grimm.

'Finally, it took almost half a day to rid this world of those pests.'

After resting for a bit and getting numbers on what is left on our side I see Salem approaching.

Clone: "Well it took her a long time to show up. I guess it was probably fear and wanting to reduce our army's size."

I look around at the around 7000 or so undead remain. I signaled the Angels to go around her and close the remaining Spawning Pools. They began to leave with around 32 Cherubims but I stayed with the remaining 4 to meet Salem.

Salem: "Who are you and how are you so strong?"

Clone: "I am Nahkriin and I am here to purge the Grimm from this planet. As for my strength, I see no need to answer to a corrupted."

Salem: "Hmm, you have the power to destroy the Spawning Pools. Your strength is formidable likely stronger than I. That is why I wish to ask for your help. Kill me, rid me of my immortality."

Clone: "Hmm, I will see what I can do for now I ask you to simply stand there and wait. The last of the pools will be destroyed soon and when they are I can see about assisting you."

Salem: "Very well."

Salem sits down on a rock and I wait for word that the continent is dealt with. After 3 hours the Angels return with only 3 Cherubims.

Cherubim: "Lord Nahkriin we have completely eradicated the taint from this continent. We have determined that there is only 1 spawning pool left on the planet and I request permission to go and cleanse it."

Clone: "How far and how much?"

Cherubim: "Deep in the ocean and 2."

Clone: "Go and return when you are done."

Cherubim: "Yes my lord."

The Cherubim teleports to the place and I expect I will see results soon. I am approached by a Dragon Priest who speaks to me about what the main body has seen. They tell me that the main body has confirmed that the Cherubims have dealt with the last spawning pool but that it required all 3. I was also told that I was cleared to place the undead on the Halberd and another clone would take it from me afterward.

Clone: "Okay Salem I will be back soon I need to move my army away for now."

I cast Gate and transported all the undead left which were 5033 Dragon Priests, 1217 Liches, 432 Death Knights, and 619 Death Warriors. After that, I dispelled due to lack of mana.

POV Rio

Once the clone was dispelled I processed the info before summoning another clone to go and hopefully deal with Salem.

POV Clone

I walked through the Gate and immediately talked to Salem.

Clone: "Okay so I can solve your issue in several ways. The 1st option is I erase the current you by taking all of your memories. You would be given a fresh start and not remember anything. The 2nd option is I purify you and see if you change your mind. The 3rd option is I give you a contract and you leave this world with me back to my original universe. The 4th option is I use a spell on you that kills your soul. It is very painful and no amount of resistance will help. The 5th option is I Crystalise you which will make you enter a coma-like state where you cease to think. The 6th option is I put you in an eternal slumber. This one makes it so you will be trapped in an eternal dream. The 7th option is I take your soul and use it to enchant an item thus dissolving it and you would likely enter the afterlife or reincarnation cycle. The 8th option is I remove your curse and you will then live until you die of old age. For this option, I will have to purify you first before I remove the curse. Take your pick and don't worry about time I am immortal as well so I have all of eternity to do so."

Salem takes some time to think about it.

Salem: "Can I have some time to think about it?"

Rio: "Sure but I will need you to come with me to an island where you can be monitored."

Salem: "Very well."

I open a Gate and we arrive at Merlots Island. Qrow had already arrived and found nothing making him leave and allowing me to have Salem stay here for a bit. I assign her a room to use until she decides what she wants.

Well, there is the second part of the trial. All that remains is to deal with Salem. The next chapter should be the last chapter of this trial. I hope you liked the slaughter of the Grimm. The second half of the chapter may or may not be inspired by the Doom Eternal Music. Until next time Ciao.
