Becoming a Billionaire after Divorce

Chapter 88 Li Feng: Rich people really know how to have fun, toiling all day and night!_3

...and not those other chaotic women from his past.

Li Wenwen covered her mouth, realizing she had spoken out of turn and given away a secret.

"Sister-in-law, you don't mind that my brother used to have a lot of girlfriends, do you?"

Seeing her reaction, Xie Moyao pursed her lips into a smile. "What's there to mind? That's all in the past. As long as he's faithful now, that's all that matters, right?"

Seeing her sister-in-law was so understanding, Li Wenwen finally appreciated her mother's excellent judgment. It was true; her brother's girlfriend had been chosen by both her mother and Xie Moyao's mother. It sounded a bit traditional, like an arranged marriage straight from their parents' words. But she had to admire the elders' insight; it was truly something the younger generation couldn't match. And just like that, they'd found such a wonderful wife for her brother.

As the two were chatting, a car slowly pulled up in front of them. The window rolled down, revealing a familiar face.

Li Wenwen's expression changed slightly, while Xie Moyao gave the newcomer a gentle smile. That smile seemed to hold a cryptic meaning, but with someone else present, she didn't let much of it show.

"What's going on here? Need some help?"

The person was none other than Sun Dasheng in his Rolls-Royce Phantom.

"Thank you for the offer, but my brother is fixing the car. It'll be ready in a moment," Li Wenwen refused with concealed sharpness. Fearing he wouldn't believe her, she shouted toward her brother under the car, "Bro, how much longer 'til the car's fixed?"

"Almost there, almost there!" a voice called back from underneath the vehicle.

"See? We don't need your help. You can go now," she said, still clearly holding a grudge over what happened before. Even though her brother had repeatedly warned her not to provoke the man again, her long-cultivated willfulness wasn't so easily erased.

"Alright! I'll be going then. Bye!"

The window rolled back up, and the car accelerated away.

The sound of the engine made Li Feng look out from under the car. Hey, isn't that the car belonging to that guy from before?

He looked at his sister. "Was that his car that just drove by?"

"That's right. He stopped and asked if we needed help, but I rejected him flat out. I told him we didn't need his help because my brother could handle it." She added proudly, "Did I do the right thing, Bro?"

Looking at his beaming sister, Li Feng cried internally. My clueless, silly sister, can't you see I'm just putting on a brave face here? Fix the car? My ass. I can't even find what's wrong with it. Someone offers us a ride and you reject them? For what?

Of course, a doting older brother couldn't possibly say any of that out loud. He just sighed. "This car is probably going to take a while. You two should have gone with him. I could have stayed here to wait for the tow truck."

"Ah! Bro, I didn't know," Li Wenwen pouted.

"Oh, sweetie, I'm not saying you did anything wrong. I just don't want you waiting out here with me. Look how scorching the sun is. You two are going to get completely tanned." Li Feng regretfully took out his phone to call for roadside assistance. "It's a pity we didn't get his number, otherwise we could've called him to give you two a lift."

"Actually, I happened to pick up his business card. I'll call him," Xie Moyao said with a smile.

"Ah, perfect! Hurry and tell him to give you two girls a ride. I'll wait here for assistance."

Xie Moyao sent a message. A few moments later, that flashy Rolls-Royce Phantom reappeared. No one got out; the front and rear doors simply swung open.

"Let's get in," Xie Moyao said, pulling a still-bewildered Li Wenwen toward the car.

However, there was an unexpected problem. The Rolls-Royce was a luxury car, and although the interior was spacious, it was designed for comfort with only two seats in the back. And one of them was already occupied.

"Hey! Can you move to the front? My sister-in-law and I will sit in the back," Li Wenwen, ever the Little Chili, demanded, trying to take charge.

Xie Moyao tugged her sleeve from behind and said to Sun Dasheng with a smile, "My sister doesn't know any better. Please excuse her." Then she whispered to Li Wenwen, "What kind of big boss sits in the front seat?"

"They don't?" Li Wenwen asked, confused. "Doesn't your mother have a driver?"

Li Wenwen nodded. "Yes, we call him Uncle Li. He's been driving for my mom for over a decade."

"And have you ever seen your mother sit in the passenger seat next to Uncle Li?" Xie Moyao asked.

Huh! Now that she mentioned it, it was true. In over a decade, she'd never once seen her mother ride in the passenger seat. She never understood why before, but now it all made sense. Big bosses always ride in the back.

Before Li Wenwen could offer to take the front seat herself, Xie Moyao pushed her into it. While she was still reeling from the confusion, Xie Moyao shut the door on her. Then, she slipped into the back seat and closed her door. The car slowly pulled away as Li Feng watched.

He waved to his sister in the front. "Call me when you get home!"

Li Wenwen stuck her head out the window. "I know, Bro!"

The car drove smoothly down the road. At first, Li Wenwen kept glancing back nervously. But all she saw were two people engrossed in their phones. Reassured, she relaxed and started playing on her own phone when her classmates invited her to a match in King of Glory. She put on her headphones, chattering excitedly with her friends as they started the game.

Beside her, the driver, Da Yong, ignored her racket and kept driving steadily, though his foot unconsciously eased up on the accelerator. Outside, the lush trees lining the road began to slide backward more and more slowly.

In the back, the two had already tossed their phones aside and were embracing in a passionate kiss. Xie Moyao's eyes were wide open, darting toward the front as they kissed, terrified of being discovered.

"Mmm... don't..." Xie Moyao grabbed the hand that was misbehaving on her butt and whispered, "Wenwen is right there in the front. She'll see."
