Becoming a Billionaire after Divorce

Chapter 112 Fang Sihan: Uncle, can you not play something so exciting (Added chapter, asking for monthly passes!)

Yun Yuqing knew perfectly well what was happening but feigned ignorance. "I don't know," she said. "Maybe the hotpot upset her stomach?"

Remembering the fiery hotpot from earlier, she winced in sympathy and nodded. "That's possible. Today's hotpot was a bit much even for me, and I had trouble adjusting. It must be even worse for her, since she's from the Northeast."

"What about Uncle?" Li Sili asked.

That guy… he gets to have all the fun while I'm stuck here covering for him, Yun Yuqing thought. She forced a laugh. "Who knows? Maybe he went for a swim. I noticed him staring at the ocean with sparkling eyes earlier. He probably has a lot on his mind from work and needed to let off some steam."

"Really? That's very possible. Why else wouldn't he reply to my texts or answer my calls?"

Li Sili's cheeks puffed out as she gazed toward the sea. Unfortunately, with only a few lights on at night, her vision was limited, and she couldn't see anything clearly. Kicking at the sand with her bare feet, she grabbed Yun Yuqing's hand. "Forget them. Let's just enjoy our walk."

"Okay, let's head back," Yun Yuqing said with a smile, squeezing her hand and pulling her back the way they came.

Li Sili followed without a second thought.

Not far away, Fang Sihan clamped a hand over her mouth, not daring to make a sound as she watched the two of them walk away.

Once they were a safe distance away, she finally turned back and complained, "Uncle, that was too close! We nearly got caught. Can you please not give me a heart attack like that? You scared me to death." She pushed against the sand to get up. "I'm not as brave as you are; my heart can't take scares like that."

But a large hand pressed her back down. "Don't move. We're not finished yet."

Fang Sihan's head wobbled. "Un-Uncle... can't we go home and... do this later? Please?"

"No. Home isn't as fun as this. The sky for a blanket and the earth for a bed... isn't it perfect?"

"It's nice, and it's thrilling... but maybe a little *too* thrilling," Fang Sihan grumbled. "My heart nearly leaped out of my chest just now."

"Heh heh... What are you afraid of? Yu Qing's here, isn't she? She knows what to do," Sun Dasheng said, continuing his movements.

"Huh?" Fang Sihan's reaction was delayed. "Uncle, are you saying Yu Qing saw us just now?"

"Of course. Why else do you think they suddenly turned around and left?" Sun Dasheng stated matter-of-factly.

"But what if Si Li had seen us first? Did you think about that?" Fang Sihan fretted, a wave of fear washing over her.

Getting caught by Yun Yuqing would have been merely embarrassing, but if Li Sili had seen them, it would have been a complete disaster.

"Haha... And here I thought you were a good sister," Sun Dasheng teased.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Fang Sihan was confused.

"Looks like Yu Qing wasn't wrong when she called you clueless," Sun Dasheng chuckled. "Si Li has night blindness. In a place without light, she can't see you even if you're standing right next to her. Understand?"

"What? Really? How did I not know that?" Fang Sihan felt a pang of regret. She really hadn't been a very good sister.

Sun Dasheng grabbed her hair and began his final sprint. "You can't blame yourself. Have you two ever spent time together in a place with no light?"

"HUFF... HUFF... No!"

"Well, there you go. If you've never experienced that together, how could you possibly know?"

When he was finished, Sun Dasheng held her in his arms and began brushing the sand from her skin.

Fang Sihan lay limp in his embrace, her eyes rolling back slightly. "Uncle, I think I just went to heaven."

"Are you really that dramatic?" Sun Dasheng laughed, continuing to wipe the sand from her body.

"It's true! I'm not lying! That moment... I was so happy, so ecstatic, so comfortable. Uncle, you were right. It feels completely different from being at home." Fang Sihan had completely let go and was starting to ramble.

"Alright, I've cleaned all the sand off you. Get dressed so we can go meet them. If we don't show up soon, I'm worried that little girl Si Li will panic and call the police." Sun Dasheng gave her tender bottom a pat before standing up to brush the sand off himself.

And he wasn't wrong.

When another half hour had passed, Li Sili grew anxious.

"Yu Qing, maybe we should call the police? Do you think Uncle really had an accident?"

Yun Yuqing was getting a headache. Her attempts to calm Li Sili had worked at first, but their effect was wearing off as more time passed. She was at her wit's end. Uncle, you have to come out now, she pleaded inwardly. Don't make this any harder for me.

Perhaps her prayers worked. A figure soon appeared on the beach. Based on his height and build, it was the very man they were talking about—Sun Dasheng.

"Si Li, look! Who's that?" Yun Yuqing pointed out.

Due to her night blindness, Li Sili had to sprint toward the figure, only recognizing him when she was very close. Without slowing down, she leaped onto him, wrapped her arms around his neck, and playfully bit his shoulder. "Hmph! You bad, naughty Uncle! Where did you run off to? You didn't answer my texts or calls! I was worried sick!"

Hearing her worried words, he felt a pang of guilt. He had only been thinking about his own pleasure and hadn't considered their feelings.

Holding her, he said remorsefully, "I was just playing in the water for a while and left my phone on the sand. Thank you for worrying about me. I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking about you two; I was just having fun by myself."
