Chapter 26: First Kiss

"Don't, don't kill them..."

Louis's voice trembled, low and pitiful, how heartbreaking it sounded.

Joshua chuckled: "But they made Louis scared, didn't they? Butler..."

His tone rose, as though he held the power to pronounce judgment on the fate of those slaves right then and there.

Louis instantly threw himself at him, clutching tightly onto his clothes: "No, don't, I'm not scared."

A lie. His whole body was clearly shaking, like a frightened cub—how pitiful, Joshua thought.

He sighed theatrically: "Alright, since Louis has begged me so sincerely, if I refuse, I'd truly be cruel. Begone."

The latter, of course, was meant for the slaves. They scrambled out of the garden, terrified that lingering any longer might offend Joshua's eyes and make him change his mind.

Joshua grinned with delight, just about to savor Louis's tear-streaked face when Athena's cold voice suddenly cut in:

"Joshua, what are you doing?"

Joshua shuddered, nearly falling off his chair.

Steadying himself, he forced a naive smile and looked at Athena: "Sister Athena, I was just playing with Louis a little. Louis even said he really liked the game I prepared for him, didn't you, Louis?"

The only response to both Joshua and Athena was Louis's trembling body and the muffled sobs he could no longer hold back.

Athena immediately stepped forward, not giving Joshua another chance to lay a hand on Louis.

Whether or not she truly liked Louis was still uncertain—at present, she was intrigued by him.

More importantly, she disliked anyone touching what belonged to her, even if that person was her younger brother.

"Joshua, I recall you already have plenty of toys."

Joshua pouted in silence. He had always thought his sister's belongings were the best. And besides, he truly liked Louis—Athena was just too heartless for not giving Louis to him!

Athena ignored his sulking expression, taking Louis by the hand and pulling him away. Joshua could only stand there watching their figures fade into the distance until they vanished completely from sight. Only then did he erupt in fury, overturning the table so that tea and pastries scattered all over the ground.

He roared like a beast, kicked the chair aside, and stormed out of the garden, the butler following behind in a panic.

Meanwhile, Athena dragged Louis straight back to his room. Unlike Joshua, whose strength was that of an ordinary person, Athena's grip felt like iron, her terrifying force crushing Louis's hand as though it could shatter his bones.

She slammed the door shut and then directly threw Louis onto the bed. Louis immediately curled himself up, burying his face into the blanket as though he couldn't bear to look at Athena.

Athena actually laughed at the sight, mocking him:

"Suddenly, I find you quite interesting. With Joshua, you tremble like a rabbit that's lost its burrow, yet when it's me, you immediately put on an attitude. Or perhaps... should I let you see a bit of blood too?"

As expected, Louis's hands trembled.

At last, he clutched the blanket tightly and turned to face Athena.

Right away, she caught sight of his tear-streaked face. To stifle his sobs, he had bitten down hard on his lips, fresh blood seeping endlessly from the wound.

Athena couldn't help but feel pity as she drew closer, her lengthy hair spilling over him. She pried his teeth away from his lip, and at once a weak sob slipped from the corner of his mouth—making Athena chuckle.

"So scared, are you?"

She gently brushed at the corners of his eyes, as though to wipe away the tears, yet Louis's tears flowed as though they cost nothing.

"Or should I punish Joshua for you?"

Louis shook his head furiously. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but a hiccup caught in his throat, and he quickly clamped his lips shut again, determined not to speak another word.

Athena laughed softly, then affectionately kissed the tip of his nose:

"Don't be afraid. Haha... you're mine now. No one can hurt you, not even Joshua. You silly thing, just a little scare and you cry like this—lucky for you, I happened to take a liking to you."

She tapped her cheek with a smile:

"Come on, give me a kiss."

Usually, Athena despised anyone touching her. But seeing Louis's pitiful, tear-streaked face, she felt she could give him a little sweetness to comfort him.

And sure enough, after being frightened by Joshua, Louis was far more obedient than before. He quickly leaned forward and planted a kiss on Athena's cheek. His lips were still stained with blood, leaving a blood-marked kiss on her skin.

Louis looked at her expectantly. Athena immediately scratched lightly at his chin and said softly:

"Good."

She turned to the mirror, smiling:

"Not bad."

Then, without warning, she pressed her lips against Louis's bloodied mouth—but it wasn't a simple kiss.

She gripped his chin tightly, forcing his mouth open, and Athena's tongue slipped inside, advancing swiftly as she ravaged his mouth, relentlessly sucking at his tongue.

Drool trickled from the corners of Louis's lips, his face flushing crimson and burning hot, his breath steaming as though it carried mist.

His body grew rigid, then weak, unable to breathe—his only instinct was to cling desperately to Athena's clothes.

At last, Athena seemed almost regretful as she released him. Lifting her head, she licked away the mixture of saliva and blood left on her lips, lowering her gaze to study Louis.

There he was, panting heavily with his mouth agape, eyes hazy, face flushed, saliva still spilling from the corners of his lips. Athena's fingers pried at his mouth, brushing across his fangs as she smiled and murmured:

"Can't breathe, can't swallow... how adorably foolish. Don't worry, I'll teach you everything—slowly."

Withdrawing her hand, a strand of saliva stretched like a silver thread from her finger. Athena licked it lightly, smiled at Louis, and left the room.

Bang!

The sound of the door slamming shut echoed, and Louis remained motionless for a long while before finally heading into the bathroom.

Damn it damn it damn it damn it damn it damn it damn it!!!!!!!!!!!

Louis nearly went mad scrubbing his teeth, praying desperately that he hadn't accidentally swallowed any of Athena's saliva—disgusting to death!

He honestly couldn't comprehend how anyone could stomach exchanging saliva! His first kiss—back in his past life—if anyone had dared to force a kiss on him, let alone French kiss him, they'd have had their skull blown apart. Literally! Not that anyone had ever dared, but ever since arriving in this twisted world, he'd lost all sense of fundamental human rights!

Louis couldn't help but recall the slaves in the garden. If he didn't tread carefully with every step, his fate would likely have been like theirs long ago.

He rubbed lightly at the corners of his eyes, staring at his slightly swollen, reddened eye bags.

Ha, at least those tears weren't wasted.

It wasn't as if he wanted to cry—but what could he do when all these perverts seemed to delight in watching his tears?

When, oh when, would a proper M-type pervert finally appear in this world flooded with sadists?

Louis asked himself this almost as a joke. After brushing his teeth five times and showering again, he finally returned to bed and slept.

The next morning, while Louis was still fast asleep, the door suddenly opened.

The assistant, now wearing a new muzzle, entered. Seeing Louis curled up in bed, he paid no mind and moved to draw the curtains apart. Sunlight immediately flooded into the room, dazzling and accusing Louis's laziness.

Louis instinctively yanked the blanket over his face, blinking before opening his eyes wide—only to be confronted by the tall figure of the assistant.

Louis had seen this assistant yesterday, but waking up to a towering man in a muzzle standing by his bed would startle just about anyone.

G noticed the master's new toy jolt in alarm, watching him warily for a moment before calming down again.

The master's new toy furrowed his brows at him, showing no hint of meek obedience.

Before the toy could even speak, G said flatly:

"Master calls. Wash up. Quickly."

A command—short and sharp. Louis met G's pitch-black eyes for a moment, then finally pressed his lips together and walked into the bathroom.

G's gaze followed Louis until the door slammed shut in front of him, not once looking away.
