Chapter 18: chapter seventeen
Chapter Seventeen: Taming the Titanic Behemoth
The arena trembled under the Titanic Stone Behemoth's sheer weight. Towering over everything, its rocky limbs crushed the battlefield with each step, its glowing eyes locked onto Crow.
The crowd held its breath—this wasn't just a monster, it was a walking catastrophe.
"This thing is on another level," Crow muttered, analyzing its movements.
Titanic Stone Behemoth (Level 80, Elite Boss)
HP: 10,000/10,000
MP: 1,200/1,200
Strength: 600
Agility: 50
Endurance: 1,000
Intelligence: 200
Mana: 300
Skills:
Earthquake Stomp (Active): Sends shockwaves through the ground, causing massive destruction.
Stone Regeneration (Passive): Slowly heals over time as long as it remains on solid ground.
Titanic Fortress (Passive): Takes significantly reduced damage from non-magical attacks.
Boulder Barrage (Active): Launches massive chunks of stone at high speed.
The crowd believed Crow had no chance. No one had ever tamed an Elite Boss Monster before—it was deemed impossible.
But Crow? He didn't believe in limits.
The Battle Begins
The Behemoth raised its colossal foot and slammed it into the ground.
BOOM!
A shockwave erupted, cracking the battlefield, sending debris flying. Crow dodged mid-air, landing on his Wyvern's back.
"Attack together! Don't let it regenerate!" Crow commanded.
The Fire Guardian unleashed an Inferno Blast, searing through the Behemoth's rocky hide.
The Ice Guardian froze its feet, temporarily halting its movements.
The Earth Guardian, instead of attacking, manipulated the terrain, creating pitfalls and weakening the Behemoth's foundation.
The Wyvern swooped down, slashing with its flaming claws, while the Shadow Panther struck from the darkness.
Despite the attacks, the Behemoth stood strong.
"It's too durable," Crow realized. "Normal attacks won't work."
Crow's Plan: Overload Taming
Crow's only option was to weaken it enough for taming—but how?
Then he saw it.
A glowing core buried deep in the Behemoth's chest.
"That's its weak spot."
Crow's entire strategy shifted.
"Everyone, focus on the core!"
The Fire Guardian and Ice Guardian combined attacks—Molten Fist + Glacial Crush—creating extreme temperature shock, cracking the Behemoth's armor.
The Earth Guardian used Earthquake Slam, further destabilizing the titan.
The Shadow Panther leaped onto its back, clawing toward the core's location.
Cracks spread. The Behemoth roared in pain.
Crow saw his chance. He leaped forward, channeling his taming energy.
"TAME!"
A golden glow erupted as his taming skill activated at full power, clashing with the Behemoth's will.
The monster struggled, resisting—but it was weakened. Its movements slowed. Its massive arms trembled.
The crowd was stunned. No one had ever witnessed such a feat.
After what felt like an eternity, the Behemoth stopped moving.
A system notification flashed before Crow's eyes.
[TITANIC STONE BEHEMOTH SUCCESSFULLY TAMED]
Silence. Then—
The entire stadium erupted in chaos.
Crow had done the impossible.
