Chapter 224: Beast Race Takes Action
He turned his attention to the claw then ate it. ( Host has obtained the second Fragment of the divine artefacts of the beast king D£#@ O#&@&l.)
' Oh I remember seeing something like this before, second fragment, I wonder how many there are.'
" Four." Manas voice came through. " There are four fragments." ' They don't seem to increase my power though so what's their use.?'
" They're are keys, to what? I cannot tell you so don't ask." He nodded and shrugged. It would be useless to bother himself with something he can't even understand right now.

Somewhere in the universe, within the territory of the beast race stood a world covered entirely by ice and snow.
Above it were 7 moons standing tall like the eyes of a God gazing upon the world. In the central continent of this world stood a mountain.
This mountain was pure white and stood so tall it pierced the clouds. On top of the mountain was a wolf.
The wolf was covered in pure white fur that danced through the air like grass on a breeze.
It stood so tall from afar it looked like a snow covered hill, the wolf had a mark of a moon on it forehead, a sign of awakened Fenrir bloodline.
Around it neck was a necklace made of a silver chain. On it end was a massive golden fang. The fang around it neck suddenly lit up and grew hot.
The wolf opened it eyes then raised it head to the sky and howled. It howl pierced throughout the sky and reached beyond the stars.
Other figures on this region opened their eyes. Two figures suddenly appeared around the wolf.
" Wolf king, why have you summoned us?" Asked a massive brown bear whose body seemed to bend the space around it.
" A successor has been born." A noble gentle voice echoed through the mountain. " What? Are you certain?"
A nine tailed fox jumped up from the side, " If you lie to us about about this.." the wolf looked at her.
" I would not lie to you Karuna, a successor has been born and has obtained at least two fragments of the key."
He looked at the two of them. " They're at the newly born world." The others frowned. " With those leaches there, if they find out about the successor." Said the bear.
" I know." Replied the wolf king. " I know we have our differences but our duty comes before any differences we have.
We are to protect the successor until the time comes where they don't need our protection no more."
The other two nodded. These three were ancient sovereigns who existed during the primordial war era.
When the war was coming to a close, the beast king gave them each a fragment of the key to protect with the last one being hidden by the beast king himself.
However during the escape they were ambushed by multiple heralds, the keys of the bear and the fox were lost then with only the wolf managing to keep his.
This had troubled the other two for billions of years, they were glad their lost keys found their rightful owner.
The beast king had told them his successor would be able to consume the fragments without dying. Over the billions of years they have fed them to multiple beasts with dragon blood.
However none survived. Eventually they tried feeding them to other beasts but they all died without exception.
After millions of tries they eventually gave up, so they were very happy that a new king was finally born.
" What's the plan?" Asked Karuna. " We send out armies there to assist him." The wolf replied.
" What of those two brats?" Asked the bear in his deep voice. The wolf sighed. " We should inform them as well."
Karuna growled with displeasure. " Do you think that's a good idea? They are young and hold neither reverence nor loyalty to the king."
" I know." Replied the wolf. " However they are still one of our own, they deserve to know."
The other two growled obviously not happy about this. " Fine, however they are not to keep the law stones, they are to help the successor's advancement."
Karuna said. The other two nodded agreeing with her. The wolf howled to the sky again. Space rippled next to them.
Then a huge white serpent appeared, shimmering like it was illusory. A bird cry pierced the sky and a huge golden eagle appeared from above the clouds.
The two bowed to the three old rulers of the beast race. These two were young sovereigns no more than two billion years old.
" You called, lord Fenral." Fenral nodded. " We're going to send our armies into this new world, we want you to send yours as well."
The two looked confused, " Lord, our beast race had never interfered in the matters of others, so why now? Won't we just offend the other races?"
Fenral nodded. " We will, however we aren't going to be fighting for resources with them." They looked even more confused now.
" Then why invade the world in the first place?" The serpent asked in a feminine voice.
" We're not invading, we're there to protect somebody." Karuna informed then in a cold voice.
She didn't trust these two, they were young and only did things for their benefits. " If I may ask, who are we protecting and why."
The eagle asked, his voice cutting through the air like sharp metal. " The successor of the king."
When Fenral said that, the two new sovereigns almost jumped from surprise. They had never met the ancient king, they were born many years after his death.
However as sovereigns they knew of the truth and that someday a new king will rise to unite the beast race.
" Are you sure the king is back my lord?" The wolf nodded. " A successor has been found and if the others find out, they will do everything in their power to kill them."
The others nodded. They knew too that the beast race although few in numbers could potentially be the strongest race.
They had the highest number of sovereigns of any other race. Not to mention the three old ones who were at the late sovereign realm.
The only reason they're not is because they lack true unity, if a king rises then things would change.
The other races would never allow that to happen. Fenral looked at the other four. " Gather your armies, tomorrow we open the gates to that world."
Each one nodded and disappeared.
