Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven

2 months after the space rift opened, it had grown larger enough for multiple people to fit through.

Then two men who looked absolutely terrified had chains tied around their waist. They were then thrown inside the space rift despite their protests and pleas.

After a while they were pulled back out. " So, what did you see inside?" Vermillion asked them with a cold voice.

One of them answered in a quivering voice. His eyes darting side to side avoiding looking directly at the monster infront of him.

" I..I saw a vast world, there was an ocean that seemed to stretch endlessly in every direction and I think there was an island further in."

Vermillion looked like he was thinking. " An island you say? How big was the island and was there life on it?"

" I don't know, it was too far away." Vermillion clicked his tongue. " Useless, it seems I have to do it myself. Alya, come." The men shook under his gaze.

Alya appeared next to him, her vessel,the sphere gyroscope appeared above her. Space distorted around the two of them and the gyroscope expanded.

It enveloped both of them, then it shrunk rapidly into itself until it disappeared with both of them, it happened so fast others didn't even have a chance to react.

Those who were left outside waited patiently. " Do you think they'll find something interesting inside?" Asked a blond woman in a sport bra and short tight with toned muscles and tanned skin.

" I don't know, maybe, maybe not." Answered another woman. These two were Catheliya and Aira.

They had chosen to come to this expedition after Naledi successfully passed her tribulation. Though Naledi still refused to come.

White POV.

White walked around the farms, she was bored, very very bored. She had nobody to play with. Old man Goldi refused to play with her saying his old bones hurt.

Big sis Pulsi always took things easy on her, treating her like she was a child. She missed Bossi, Bossi was the best, when playing, he always made sure it was fun and didn't take things easy on her.

Even though she knew he was definitely stronger than her, he never made the fight easy for her, sparring with Bossi was fun, very fun.

It'd been years since Bossi left, White wondered when he would come back. Suddenly her ears twitched.

Then she suddenly felt a powerful aura, even more terrifying than old man Goldi's or that bad blue guy they fought, bearing down on her.

She looked up and high in the sky she saw two creatures floating in the air. They looked like the bad blue guy but smaller and they were not blue.

Their auras did not feel like that of beasts either. White had never seen creatures like this before but she knew they were very bad, they made her body shiver.

Suddenly old man Goldi's voice echoed in her head, in everybody's head, he could've directed his will transmission to them but he didn't.

Which meant he wanted everybody to hear him. ' Humans, to what do we owe the pleasure of your visit, tell this old man what he can help you with.'

The red furred one of the two frowned in disgust. White assumed it was the leader since it was larger and stronger than the one with black fur?

She wasn't sure if that was fur since it was only on their heads but it did not matter. The human did not bother responding to old man Goldi.

It pointed a finger at him and a tiny ball of fire flew at old man Goldi like a streak of red light. Space distorted around Goldi and he teleported 20 metres away.

The ground exploded where the fire ball landed and created a small crater. White knew a fight was unavoidable now and her heart pounded.

Huge boulders rose from the ground and floated around her. Then she shot them at the humans like cannon balls.

The air exploded wherever they passed but before they could reach their target. A giant crystal with rings floating beneath the smaller humans feet lit up

The rings spun faster and space distorted infront them. The rocks slowed down and stopped when they entered this distorted space as if trapped in a swamp.

Then they shot back at her. White stomped her little foot on the ground. A giant rock shield and sword flew towards her from within the settlement.

These were her two weapons she created and constantly fortified with her super telekinesis as she called it.

The flying rocks shattered against the shield. Lightning danced around her body and covered her sword.

Using her telekinesis she flew towards the two of them like a comet. Even though she knew both were stronger than her she was strangely excited.

The red furred leader did not even pay her any attention which pissed her off. White got pissed, this human was looking down on her.

She shot a bolt of lightning at it but the air distorted again and her lightning was deflected and shot to the ground.

" You're opponent is me little rabbit." She heard the other one say. It voice was feminine so it must be a she, White concluded.

The female human's aura was strong, White knew she couldn't afford to underestimate her, so they moved their fight a bit further away to avoid any distractions.

She flew at the human, her body moving so fast she turned into a lightning bolt. The crystal ball beneath the humans feet glowed purple.

The human opened her palm towards her. For a moment White felt nothing. She was just about to mock the human for being foolish when she was hit by an invisible force.

It felt similar to her telekinesis but also different. She hit the ground like a meteor creating a massive shockwave that ripped the ground apart.

The force continued pressing down on her and she continued to sink into the ground. Then her will surged and she used her telekinesis to push back.

The two forces clashed and the air shook. She stood up and jumped to the side. It was then that she realised the human's force attack had a limited range of about 20 metres.

As long as she avoided the hand pointing at her and using her telekinesis to fight back, she had a chance.

Her shield and sword spun around her and she took to the skies. Using her telekinesis, she was able to block the human's attack and get close.

Her sword descended upon the human like a guillotine. However just before it landed the crystal beneath her feet enveloped her body and disappeared.

She appeared hundreds of metres away. ' Teleportation, how fun.' White grinned then increased her own speed.

Her body zipped through the air like a bolt of lightning, chasing after the retreating human but with her ability to teleport, catching up to her was hard.

White used her telekinesis to try and hold the human in place but it did not work. She had a constant forcefield around her body, White's telekinesis could not breach through it.

Their game of cat and mouse continued for a few more seconds. Just as White was about to attack the human with her sword again, her body stopped moving.

Then she felt herself being crushed from all sides. The human was pointing her hand towards her and slowly closing it as if crushing a tomato.

White immediately used her telekinesis to create a shield around herself. The crushing force became weaker but she could still feel it trying to crush her.

She grinned, that attack was invisible and impossible to predict, White had figured out a new way to use her telekinesis.

She was just about to lunge again when the world turned red, the temperature rose so high the air seemed to boil.

White stopped and looked down. The settlement was covered by a towering cloud of fire.

' Huh.'
