Chapter 27: Awakening Natures
Nature is a bodily ability that does not extend for more than three feet from the body. Every monster, every beast, every human and every tree has Nature.
Nature can activate using the Life Force of the body which provides varying effects.
Natures are abilities that are usually attached to an organ of a body, just like Silent Treader, that have 9 natures attached to its body.
[Beast Pact]
Silent Treader
[A beast from an unknown dark realm with unknown origin]
Tier: 1
Category: Enigma
Class: Power
~Natures: Treader Coat, Pearl Teeth, Silent Ears, Folded Paws, Harmonizing Tail, Light Feeding Eye, Graceful Leap.
Aspecto: Silence
___
Treader Coat was a nature that protected it from the cold or hot, it helped the beast to adapt to any elemental conditions of the atmosphere. It also concealed his heart beating and movement sound.
Pearl Teeth were nature that allowed it to cut almost everything like a hot knife against butter.
Silent Ears were a nature that allowed it to hear every sound and also distinguished them to the minute detail. Using them, the other senses of the treader will be reduced.
Each of the Nature listed were attached to an organ and the organs are the nature. Removing them means that the beast can't use that particular Nature.
Having 9 nature is considered much because usually, most beasts and monsters can only have 1 to 3.
Having more than 3 is rare and Miracle Lions have more than 20+.
But not every Miracle Lion can awaken all of them and use them, the tasking in Life Force and Mind is too much. Most selected a few and left the other.
Some awakened many but kept them dormant until they needed them.
Some Miracle Lion Nature was inherent inside the bloodline of the Miracle Lion Human Family. But these Natures aren't physical ones like Treader Coat but more subtle.
The prevalent Nature the humans were born with were Heightened Instinct, Raging Blood, High Intelligence, Bright Eyes, and Venom/Poison Resistance.
The above might seem normal attributes, but to humans, it's attributes, but the more they use them, the more they turn into nature.
This allowed them to boost it up, unlike other bloodlines that have it fixed to a degree.
That was why Eugene was able to boost his instinct more than it passive effectively and managed to survive the Blind Sanctity. But that doesn't mean the attributes have awakened and become Nature.
The Lion Cub, from the very beginning, has not used a single Nature in him; he hasn't awakened any of them. He was just using what came normal to him.
Unlike the Silent Treader. Even though Silent Treader Natures can't be turned off to a degree.
Now, the lion cub wants to awaken some natures for the upcoming battles.
From Family education, there were some Natures that are a must because they save lives and are needed in battle.
Instinct, Raging Blood, Heightened Intelligence, Heightened Senses, Recovery. Those were the most required and advised to awaken.
The lion chose Instinct; there was no debate in that; Raging Blood was a must, Height Intelligence was obvious and then Recovery.
He won't go with heightened senses because Silent Treader has a different sense, and if he awakens it, it will dampen the Silent Treader's senses, which will be a great loss.
The lion became silent and stirred up his Raging Blood; he felt emotions rage on and focused on his Instinct and the danger he was feeling coming toward him.
Suddenly, a shiver ran down his spine, and he felt his Life Force sucked in, and an extrasensory view filled his mind.
He sensed 5 hunters were steadily closing in on him.
He turned it off and rested. Deep within him, the Life Force grew, and he focused again using Raging Blood.
Raging Blood hasn't awakened yet but he can still use it to spike other nature. This time, two spikes appeared, and both Raging Blood and Heighten Intelligence awakened.
Raging Blood felt like a compressed Life Force that could be used to dial up other Nature and physical strength.
Heightened Intelligence came with a perk. Three minds merged to a degree, and thoughts were processed faster, and immediately, the lion understood he didn't need to go to that location.
Wreck havoc and devour means against the whole realm. He should devour his way till he sees the outside of the realm.
That means he should chew the wall until he goes out. That was easier said than done.
The lion then focused on Recovery nature but failed to awaken it. That was due to the nature of their being. Three life forms as one, lion recovery might not be the same as the other.
He dropped that, but those weren't the only Nature he wanted to awaken. There were two more.
Crushing and Battering Ram Force
They will take time for these have steep requirements to a degree.
Miracle Lions were known to have the strongest fangs in Ar Land because of the Crushing Nature they have.
Anything that entered between their maw could be crushed as the biting force, and the strong jaw went beyond most. Theoretically, they can crush everything.
Diamonds are mere biscuits to the best of them.
Battering Ram Force shouldn't be explained, but what should be explained is that Miracle Lion has horns.
You can already see the use of this Nature, right?
The lion focused on trying to develop the buds of horns for the Battering Ram Force.
This came with complications, one of which was that the Silent Treader's body had no horn, and it was rejecting it. But the lion pushed forward for it; he knew he needed it for what was to come.
This makes it suppress the silent treader more, but to balance it, Harmonizing Tail was slightly developed as a sign of the Treader.
But that wasn't enough; the lion was forced to make another heart for the treader as well as the stomach-turning to silent Treader.
If that doesn't happen, then by the appearance of the horn the silent treader will be crushed and become like Eugene in the body and might just vanish and die.
This was because Miracle Lion Horns are extremely special and have more than one Nature in them.
