BATTLE OF THE FIVE GODS.

The sword and shield in her hand were actually made of fuse forged spiritual metal that she had forged herself thanks to her being a fifth level blacksmith. The air between the two of them got heated and amidst this the two approached each other and collided for the first time, in the first collision none of them used any soul rings and simply collided and the result was that they were balanced , both of them flew backwards five meters, Jiang Chen flying in the air while Xue Longyue was sliding in the ground leaving a trail on the platform, with this the energy of the spectators was triggered, this was what they wanted to see, a face off between the strong, they were looking forward to the same fight the day before but for some reason Ming Yan didn't show up, after the first collision the space between them was ten meters and with this Jiang Chen released his first attacking skill, it wasn't a soul ring ability but rather a sword move he had formulated from his understanding of the saint holy sword, he named it Light rain because that was what the skill did,

Seeing this Jiang Chen stopped releasing the light rain and instead the third soul ring lit up, suddenly the warrior angel behind him split into two, its clone wielded a sword made of holy fire and descended to attack, this was his third soul ability known as Angel's descent, the most peculiar thing about this ability is that it couldn't be counter attacked as all attacking abilities simply passed through it, the angel descended quickly passing through the Xuanwu formation and healing straight for Longyue, in that moment her fourth soulring lit up, this was a ten thousand year old spirit ability she called Xuanwu replacement, 

As it was triggered suddenly a formation appeared below her feet and in the next moment a similar formation appeared below Jiang Chen, with a flare of light the two of them swapped places and suddenly Jiang Chen was attacked by his own spirit ability, however it seemed like Jiang Chen was waiting for this as when he was replaced his second soul ring lit up instantly, suddenly the golden armor detached from his martial soul landing on his body transforming him into an angelic warrior, all light elements in the surroundings were drawn to his body through the armor allowing him to replenish his consumption as well as increasing his defence, as the sword angel and came into contact with his armor it was actually melted but its attacking power still acted on him pushing him to the end of the stage making him collide with the boundary shield, however he wasn't injured in the slightest, 

As Longyue appeared in the air her third soul ring lit up, it was called Xuanwu amplification which increased her strength and endurance to 100 percent suddenly her body rippled as she took on the muscles of the Xuanwu divine beast and with it she lands on the ground generating a miniature crater but leaving no damage on her, the amplification not only made her stronger but also nullified the effect of falling from a great height at that moment though the sword in her hand moved, she fully unleashed her sword intent and she made thirteen cuts in the air before her, these cuts moved towards Jiang Chen each of them carrying a heavy condensed blade intent, filled with both water and earth elements, 

Jiang Chen also wasn't standing still and waiting to be attacked as he appeared on the other side he unleashed his fourth soul skill, it was his first ten thousand year ability Called Heavenly fire, when unleashed his body, armor and all was encased in white flames, and the flames even covered his two swords, suddenly combining these two swords he slashed out at once concentrating the white flames into a singular like that moved forward scorching everything and purifying it.

When it collided with the thirteen cuts it melted through them like they were nothing, Longyue realized this would have been a perfect time to utilize Xuanwu replacement unfortunately she had already used it and it needed at least ten minutes before it could be used again, however she couldn't regret because that descending Angel was too much for her amplification to withstand, don't look at it as a third soul skill but because it ignores defence, it couldn't be stopped by spirit skills or battle armor so she needed to carry it with her body yet it was already being amplified by the angelic radiance which weakened her as well.
