BATTLE OF THE FIVE GODS.

The beast was like a bird, it was over 40 meters long who a wingspan over 60 meters, with its wings open it almost covered the whole clearing, its body was covered with golden feathers except its head which had purple gold feathers, and it's two limbs were reptilian covered with purple-gold scales and each had seven claws, its eyes were purple gold and allover its body lightning sparked, as it landed there it didn't possess any illusory nature like the rest of the spirit souls, intact it seemed as solid as any other soul beast, seeing this spirit soul Bai Zhang was scared to the bottom of his wits and he proclaimed,

"This is bad, we need to stop this immediately and rescue your disciple if we still want him to live." But before he could move he was stopped by Hao Lian, "Hold on a minute and tell me exactly what that spirit soul is? I have never seen anything like it in my life." He said, Bai Zhang then said, "I can explain all this later but first we need to save your disciple," "I observed the speed of this creature if it meant him harm not even I cuff reach him before it killed him, seeing as it hasn't made a move yet, perhaps its intentions for him aren't as harmful as we think, so how about you tell me what this beast is?" Replied Hao Lian, Bai Zhang also noticed for the first time that the beast was actually just standing there and staring at Ming Yan and his soul spirit, with the purity of his Thunderclap vine martial soul perhaps they had the chance at obtaining this beast's approval, they had already taken a positive step by waking it from its slumber and drawing it to them, but Ming Yan was surrounded by the Titan boa serpent and this bird was the nemesis of all serpents.

"This bird is known as Jia lu da, and it was known as the king of all birds, originally it was just a cosmic bird traveling the cosmos until it encountered the Thunder god, it is said that the Thunder god saved its life from danger and since then it swore its loyalty to him, When the Thunder god died all those years ago, the original bird king that followed him also fell at that time, however with its fall it left behind an egg, this egg would absorb thunder and lightning before hatching, the bird would then roam the cosmos all its life searching for the Thunder god, before a Jia lu da dies, it condenses its energy into an egg and leaves the egg behind, there can only ever exist one Jia Lu Da bird at a time.

The last known Jia Lu Da was on a thunder planet at the edge of the Dragon horse federation, tis planet had the most rich thunder element but when that planet fell the Jia Lu Da was destroyed as well, all that were left of it were remnants of its body, these remnants were some of the samples brought to the spirit pagoda and with our research we were able to isolate a portion of its origin scattered through the samples, we fused this essence and to our surprise the essence condensed into an egg and produced a chick, we tried to study and reproduce the bird but all our attempts failed, in a failed attempt to escape the bird committed suicide but we were able to gather its soul energy into this platform and it became one of the most dangerous unyielding spirit souls.

Several soul masters of the lightning element spight this spirit soul to make it their final soul spirit but it killed any that dared to approach it, for the last thousand years it has been slumbering and this is the first time it has been awoken, although Ming Yan's thunder element is also the strongest I have ever seen, he is still at the fourth ring, even if he were to obtain its recognition he may not be able to contain its power not to mention that he has a snake with him and the Jia Lu Da is the nemesis of all snakes. Although in ancient times it worked with the original Titan Boa Serpent, that was when they were under the thunder god not to mention that both beasts are kings of their own species so none of them will give in to the other,"

After hearing the description, Hao Lian simply smiled, if the beast was searching for the Thunder god then perhaps it was fate that Ming Yan came across it, after all the aura of the thunder god lies in his blood, although others may not be able to detect it, how can the original partners of the thunder god not detect it, wasn't that the very reason why the serpent hunted Ming Yan in the first place, the only threat here is the Jia Lu Da hunting Ming Yan but with the Boa Titan guarding him they could still have time to save Ming Yan, but should they both allow to follow him, then his defence will be all the more magnified, so to him this was only a joyous occasion, he never expected that he would pick up a treasure like this, giving up the pieces if the Boa Titan wasn't a loss at all, it was a gain for him instead. Looking at Hao Lian smiling, Bai Zhang was confused and asked "What about the horrendous description of this beast makes you smile?"

Hao Lian simply looked innocent and said, "the Thunderclap vine is the most dangerous plant species ever recorded and legend has it that what makes it dangerous is the blood of the dying Thunder god that was infused in it at the beginning, perhaps with Ming Yan having this martial soul he had the remnants of the Thunder god's bloodline, regardless of how faint it maybe, it could be the only thing these beasts sense is closer to the original Thunder god, so perhaps Ming Yan is the only person that could ever gain this beast's recognition just like the he gained the recognition of the Boa Titan in the end." Although the explanation was assumptious, it made sense to Bai Zhang and he even prayed that Ming Yan succeeded because that would mean he had obtained a ten thousand year old unyielding spirit soul and the pagoda could get the remnants of the Boa Titan and perhaps after he fused the spirit soul, its body remnants from its death could finally be used to generate spirit souls since they would no longer be under the influence of the Jia Lu Da, this was indeed a great harvest for the spirit pagoda and maybe Bai Zhang's contributions could finally surpass that golden tiger lord this time. 

As they were discussing though, the Jia Lu Da finally moved, it approached Ming Yan slowly and carefully, as it reached within ten meter of his body, the Boa Titan turned into purple light and drilled back into his body, at the same time the Jia Lu Da raised its front claw and touched his head, the cake was bigger than his head but just before it reached him, the golden thunder bolt on his head returned and a strong suction was generated from the thunderbolt marking sucking the Jia Luda into his body, the skies rumbled and lightning fell from the skies landing on Ming Yan and everything around him, the thunder spirit souls in the periphery rejoiced absorbing these thunder elements, and Ming Yan's body was actually rendered purple gold for a moment, then his soul rings appeared one after the other, three purple soul rings appeared promptly and as they watched a fourth soul ring appeared as well, it was brilliant purple but as they watched it condensed its energy turning dark purple before the purple actually peeled of and the ring turned black, 

It was finally a ten thousand year old black soul ring, but the most surprising thing was that the original three purple soul rings were affected by the changing fourth ring and they too shed their purple layer turning into black soul rings as well, this was the first time something like this had ever been seen, fusing a fourth soul ring could actually elevate the original soul rings to match its level, this was something that could only be described ad soul ring resonance the only explanation could be that the two spirit souls were related and as such they resonated with each other sharing their power, but these two spirit souls were the exact opposites of each other in fact they could be considered mortal enemies how could this happen, Bai Zhang was completely and utterly confused, 

Hao Lian on the other hand was rejoicing, this was beyond his imaginations he had an idea as to why this happened but he couldn't reveal these secrets of course, in Ming Yan's sea of spirit though, the golden thunderbolt sat, there radiating pure thunder energy this thunder bolt had always existed since he fused with the first spirit soul, and the serpent always lay around this thunderbolt when he wasn't summoned to fight, the serpent seemed to be basking in the radiation of this thunder bolt making it grow stronger on it's own, despite the growth of his spirit souls, Ming Yan had indeed never relied on the energy of the spirit ascension platform, he had entered this platform one along with his fellow trainees from the Tang sect talents academy, however although he had killed several beasts in the platform, their energy couldn't be absorbed by the Thunderclap vine, whenever they came close to it they were rejected by the aura of the Thunderclap vine, as such has friends gained from the exploration but he didn't, 

When it seemed that he would retain hundred year soul rings for the rest of his life, the Serpent in his sea of spirit actually evolved on it's own elevating his hundred ear would rings to thousand year soul rings, this was about the time he was close to the third ring and since then it has grown faster than before although it couldn't teach ten thousand year before he reached his fourth ring about could provide him with a fourth soul ring, it was close to ten thousand years. But when he sensed the Thunder bird, he felt the thunderbolt in his sea of spirit fluctuate and the serpent actually sent him its thoughts for the first time, originally he only sensed its unwavering loyalty to him but at this moment it actually sent him its thoughts, he could tell that this Thunderbird was a great thing for them and once he obtains its recognition he could potentially avoid the threat if exploding due to too much thunder, 

So when it landed before him he used his spirit power to stimulate the thunderbolt in his sea of spirit so that it radiates its power outside, at that time the serpent was on the outside and it also attempted to communicate with the thunder bird, it seemed like only a moment before the thoughts of the thunder bird landed in his sea if spirit, it was requesting that he allows it to accompany him and it would protect him with all its life, Ming Yan was surprised of course but he couldn't turn down a meal on a silver platter so he instantly accepted and as be did that the Thunderbird approached him and with its approach the thunderbolt fluctuated violently before sucking the serpent and the Thunderbird into his sea of spirit, when the thunderbird landed I'm his sea of spirit he felt his sea of spirit power, surge before reaching a bottleneck and finally release, it turned into an abyss and the purple sea in his mind actually obtained hints if gold color within it,
