BATTLE OF THE FIVE GODS.

In Tiandu city, a young boy stumbles towards the doors of the Tang sect headquarters in Tiandu, his clothes are covered in burn marks his body is practically smoking and as he lands on the front steps of the Tang sect, he collapses before the guards at the entrance, as if that wasn't strange enough, in the distance the sky cracks as streams of lightning gather above Tiandu city at the center of the lightning storm floats a massive serpent, the snake is over 15 meters long and half a meter wide it had vibrant silver scales all over its body and purple eyes, with each screech the thunder intensifies, wherever it passes thunder scorches the air and anything that comes into contact with it,

This is a very famous soul beast believed to have long been extinct, it was known as Titan boa king, it was the king of the Snake bloodline capable of suppressing all snake type beasts, it was believed to have been a follower of the thunder god who blessed it with the thunder element, it was the only snake species known to have the thunder element, it currently seemed to be hunting this unknown young boy and as if not intimidated by the guards in front of the Tang sect, it launched its attack on the unconscious boy at the front steps of the sect,

Although they didn't know the boy, the Tang sect was a peace loving organization, there was no way they would leave a young boy to be devoured by a murderous soul beast, the two guards launched into action at the first chance, these guards weren't weaklings, to be able to guard the entrance of the Tang sect they needed to at least have the cultivation of four rings and possess at least one piece of battle armor, these two were at the peak of the fourth ring and the moment they broke through the fifth ring they would obtain the final piece of battle armor becoming fifth ring soul kings and one word battle armor masters, 

This alone was enough to make them overlords in the soul master world, however standing before this silver serpent they felt a threat of their lives, the lightning arching off its body was extremely dangerous and even their spirits warned them to avoid it, the first guard unleashed his battle armor at the first chance he got and summoned his martial soul which happened to be a rogue dragon, with it he held back the serpent as the second guard who was also wearing his battle armor at the time and unleashing his martial soul made a move to get the kid to safety, the martial soul of the second guard was the spirit kite, it was one of the fastest birds known and with it he carried the child inside the sect as he summoned help.

It just so happens that at the moment the sect master of the Tang sect was actually visiting Tiandu city and was in the midst of an inspection, he had long sensed the appearance of the snake but didn't take it to be that big of a deal and expected the two guards to handle it easily however when he sensed the rogue dragon guard facing off against the serpent his eyes changed, this was because he sensed that the snake was about to unleash it's true strength and even with the cultivation of the guard he wouldn't be able to survive this blast, 

He made a move instantly, rushing to the entrance he arrived before the snake in the blink of an eye and unleashed his power to contain it, he locked the serpent down with energy chains, however at that moment the eyes of the serpent glowed and the silver scales all over its body actually took on a purplish hue and the lightning all over its body intensified, in the process the chains holding it down started trembling, and cracks started appearing, without any hesitation the sect master unleashed a crimson shroud, this shroud was actually his martial soul and with his rank the shroud had intricate golden markings along its body.

As the shroud appeared his body was enveloped in his soul rings, there were three black, three red, three orange gold and one gold, this sect master was actually a god level soul master, and he needed his martial soul to actually hold back a serpent soul beast that wasn't even a thousand years of cultivation, this alone scared him, he turned around to see the young child they had rescued and with his divine sense he could sense a conflict within the body of the child, it was like he was in the middle of an awakening, this child was no more than six years old which was the right time for his martial soul to awaken but it seemed like he was interrupted mid awakening.

He didn't know how this was possible as the awakening needed to be initiated by someone but from the looks of this child the awakening was triggered naturally without any aid of another soul master, he flicked his hand and his ribbon actually wrapped itself around the child bringing the child before him, with a snap of his fingers he forcibly completed the awakening of the child and at that moment something unexpected happened, the child's body seemingly exploded and he was enveloped by massive dark purple thunder bolts that caused even the skies to rumble,

Other soul masters instinctively rushed away regardless of their rank no one wanted to be touched by that lightning, the sect master also unleashed his battle armor at a moment's notice, since becoming a god level soul master his battle armor had started evolving from the four character battle armor and becoming divine raiment, the lowest level of divine raiment is known as five word battle armor and it was practically a divine weapon, with his nothing short of the god level was o any threat to him, he used his divine sense to isolate the space around him taking the kid and the serpent with him to a pocket dimension isolating them from the normal plane to save the sect,

At that moment something unexpected happened the thunder condensed into a hundred meter avatar of a gigantic man and the child was at the center of the avatar, the avatar seemed to have been born from the child and from that avatar even the sect master sensed an aura that posed a threat to himself, the avatar turned its eyes to the serpent sealed up beside the sect master and anger was evident in its eyes, it was then that the sect master realized that this phantom was actually sentient, the avatar raised its hand and the serpent vanished from the ribbons appearing in its hands, 

The previously ferocious silver serpent was actually groveling with fear before this phantom, and when the phantom spoke, the sect master knew why, with anger in its words, the phantom actually released a threat to the snake, "Xiao She, you dare to attack my heirs, dare to kill them before they can awaken, are you rebelling towards your master?" the snake was as if it wanted to die at the moment, and the phantom spoke again, "although I feel your guilt and regret for your actions, that isn't enough. I will spare you annihilation but in return you will become the soul of my heir, you will protect him from all that mean him harm and if necessary you will give your life to save his, his safety is of the utmost importance, more important than even the wisp of my remaining soul."

The serpent groveled again bowing before the phantom the phantom then waved his hand turning the serpent over to the sect master, the phantom then faced the phantom and he felt its energy wash over him, even though he had reached the god realm, before this power it was like he was bare, without any means to safeguard himself should this phantom choose to take action, however the phantom didn't attack him but simply asked, 

"I wonder about the identity of this benefactor?" The sect master, shocked by the genuinely humble voice of the phantom, didn't dare to be proud in his response, "The junior is named Hao Lian titled Sky ribbon Dou Shen and he is the current head of the Tang sect's douluo hall and sect master of the Tang sect, and he pays respect to the senior" said the sect master while showing his head.

The phantom nodded its head saying, "Tang sect, I have heard of that association, it was founded by that guy and it seems to he a force for good, I now believe that you are of good will, I would like to present my request to you, this child here carries the last remnants of my soul, because he is still too weak at the moment I cannot integrate with him, but later on when he is strong enough I will leave all I have with him, I hope you can help safeguard him until that moment when he is strong enough. I don't have enough strength to watch him endlessly otherwise I would have protected him myself, but the strength I now have is limited, I have to use it sparingly and only when necessary. 

With this action now I will fall into a deep slumber for a very long time and as long as he isn't at the threat of death I may not appear again, I hope you can keep him safe for me. As payment I will leave you a few trinkets as repayment," as the phantom says that it released a tiny seven colored box as the box landed in the hands of the sect master he was shocked beyond imagination and instantly responded, 

"Senior needn't have given this treasure. I will surely fulfill the senior's wishes even without rewards so please senior take this treasure back, perhaps it could be used by the child when he comes of enough strength." the phantom simply smiled and said "this thing isn't of any use to me nor is it of any use to him, I accidentally came across it a few millennia ago during my travels I was keeping it as a bargain for when I encounter a situation I cannot help, but I can sense that your divine foundation of the flame origin, perhaps this trinket will be of help to you, that's it. That tiny snake will not be of any problem anymore and with it there perhaps you will not need to take action often to guard the heir. I don't have much time left and I need to go just remember my request." As he said that, the phantom turned into golden lightning and entered the boy's forehead turning into a golden thunderbolt on his forehead before even it vanished away, 

Then around the little boy vines started appearing, the vines were a dark purple and they were segmented like bamboo shoots, the moment they appeared the space turned electric and the boy regained consciousness, terrified by what he was seeing he looked at the sect master, he didn't seem to know anything of what had happened before, the sect master calmed him down, "You don't need to fear anything young one, you are safe now, the serpent won't be of any threat to you anymore, what is your name?"

The little boy looked at the sect master and although terrified he also sensed that with the sect master here he was safe, also he could see the serpent locked up by flaming chains below the sect master's feet so he spoke,
