Chapter 126: 126
Tyson and the others were instantly teleported back into the Battle Room, greeted by a heavy silence.
All of them had survived. No one was seriously injured, and it was clear they had gained far more than just a reward for Earth.
Tyson had earned 3 power points, bringing his total to 27—a powerful warrior in his own right. The major players—Ryuk, Alex, Red, Rudra, and Blue—each received 2 power points, while Shaun, Ken, Lara, and Ron gained 1 point each.
Edward studied the new data on the screen before him, pride evident in his eyes.
"I'm at 35 now," Rudra chuckled.
"Hmm, only 30, huh?" Alex muttered, staring at his hands. "How disappointing..."
He still felt he was trailing behind and unsatisfied.
Ryuk retracted his armor. He had gained 2 more points, pushing his total to 64.
"If this keeps going, you'll break 100 soon," Black muttered.
The rogues now looked on with envy—they had missed the chance to grow stronger like these people. If only they had joined in, they too could have gained power effortlessly.
and not to mention, after hearing 100, Rogues flinched. A warrior with over 100 power points—none of them had seen it before. What made it worse was the fact that this warrior... was a Ranger. Their enemy.
Edward ignored the tension in the room and stepped forward, placing a hand on Tyson and Alex's shoulders.
"I'm proud of you, my sons," he said. "You've shown everyone how to set things in motion."
"It's not just motion, my friend," Julien smiled warmly. "They've broken a record. Not a single person died—unlike every past attempt."
The entire room turned silent again. Everyone looked at the old man.
It was true.
They had lost many in the past—even while trying to clear the so-called "easy" levels—mostly due to infighting within the Battle Room and outside as well, But this time was different. There was strong leadership, both inside and outside the battlefield. And that made all the difference.
Bee was crying, overwhelmed with relief that his team was safe and only minorly injured."I'm glad you're all safe," he said, hugging Ken tightly. "Boss..."
Ken winced slightly but didn't say anything. Instead, he glanced at Lara."Yeah... glad we're all safe."
Raine sat beside Blue, worried and quietly ashamed. She hadn't stepped in to protect him when he was fighting for his life.
"Why the long face?" Blue chuckled, trying to lift the mood. "Were you disappointed because I'm still alive?"
Raine slapped his shoulder but said nothing.
Mark gave Ryuk a subtle nod, a quiet way of acknowledging the favor—his assistance had made a difference.
[Ding! The map is cleared… rewards have been granted.]
[Live broadcast ended the moment you stepped into the Battle Room.]
[Take a rest, humans… I will call you after eight hours.]
The screen shifted into a countdown timer, ticking backward.
Mills was the first one to leave, gritting his teeth. if he knew there was a chance he would get stronger as well he would have joined on his own terms.
Tyson looked around, feeling quite overwhelmed. People were staring at him with admiration—he was the one who had stepped in first, fought relentlessly, and earned his reward in power points.
A total of three power points—or in human terms, 300 sub-points. A significant leap forward in just a few hours, all without enhancements or external power supplies. Just sheer will.
After receiving praise and encouraging words from the senior Rangers, Tyson made his way to his room.
He was tired and sore. There were minor injuries across his body, but thankfully, those could be treated inside his room. Severe injuries required time in the Healing Pods.
To be honest, he was still shaken. Everything had happened in a blur—from stepping into the desert to defeating the Boss Monster. It felt like a dream.
He collapsed flat on his bed, eyes fixed on the ceiling. "I... I'm just going to take a nap."

Meanwhile, on Earth...
Celebrations were in full swing. The younger generation was ecstatic after witnessing the battle. They had watched their warriors fight bravely and were now certain—this time, humanity would wreck the tournament.
Free food was being distributed around playgrounds and schools. Sweets and toffees were handed out as if it were a festival for humans.
But the older generation remained quiet. They didn't join in the excitement. Most had seen this same tournament cycle years ago. They knew—this was only the beginning. The worst was yet to come.
Seraphina smiled politely as she met with other party members. They congratulated her, praising both her husband and brother-in-law.
She bowed graciously, then made her way home, still hiding the worry etched deep in her heart—worry for her family trapped inside the tournament.
Nancy sat on the couch, wiping tears from her eyes as the live broadcast ended. She was relieved to see Tyson survive. Even more so to witness the brothers working together, unlike on Earth where they constantly bickered and fought.
"Told you, sweetie, he'd be fine," Mrs. Winters said, gently patting Nancy's back. "Now go rest. You don't have to keep staring at the TV. It won't start again until tomorrow."
in the room of Emily, she watched everything with teary eyes, She was happy everyone survived. her wish came true.

Babylon
Albert stood in silence while Justine cursed Tyson behind him. His enemy had survived—and there was nothing he could do about it.
"Why, Father, why?" Justine shouted. "He should have died! He must die!"
Albert shook his head. "Don't be impatient, my child. This is just the beginning."
He turned to look outside the headquarters, where the statue of Victor was being dismantled. Finally, the time had come to take control of Babylon—piece by piece.
the
first step was to remove Victor from the city completely even his fading influence, since more than half of the Rd had been moved out there was less resistance to him.
the only enemy of his who lives is Steve, the one who became recent head of Rd due to Utopia's backing...

Back at the Battle Room
Most of the participants had left, leaving only a few Rangers behind.
Mark watched, wide-eyed, while Ryuk stood grinning in front of a teleportation pod that had appeared shortly after they completed their first mission.
He just talked with Steve and asked for Books, just like that...
It was the pod that allowed them to summon requested items from Earth—since everything they once owned had been left behind when they were summoned.
"That's it!" Ryuk laughed, looking at the pile of books. "I won't be bored anymore."
"Are you freaking serious?" Mark asked, staring at the stack. Edward and Julien just shook their heads.
"You requested just books?"
"Excuse me, human?" Black meta-bot spoke up. "They are not just books. They are my Books."
"Yeah," Ryuk grinned, picking up one of them. "This is my reward."
"What?" Mark looked back and forth between Ryuk and Black. "You two are insane. You risked your life... for that?"
"Leave him alone, Mark," Edward chuckled. "He earned his share. If you want a right to request something, do something outstanding next time."
Julien and Edward walked off, leaving the two standing in the vast, quiet room.
Ryzen yawned front of his own room as he noticed the excited faces among the remaining Rogues and Rangers. Everyone seemed motivated now—as if they finally realized the tournament wasn't as terrifying as they once believed.
he chuckled, "it seems these stupid fools are eager to die"
"hmmm" Purple sounded, "I felt Black vanishing for hours maybe he just came back after clearing the map... stronger"
Ryzen gritted his teeth. "I should be stronger not him or anyone"
"For that you have to join in the fun," The purple said, "not sleep around...you won't able to hold the candle if you let them gather their strength...remember it all vs one for you isn't it Ryzen...that is what you promised me"
Ryzen smirked, "I know our deal and i assure you i still crave vengeance"
