Battle Across The Omniverse

Jayr POV - Challenge Space - ??? 

Suddenly I find myself in an empty white space that almost reminds me of Ehit's realm and at the same time I feel a hell lot stronger as my connection to my Spiral Cosmo and Divinity are completely restored and now I can control them however I want once more, making me let out a sigh while thinking, 'Woah, I feel so free and light! I truly didn't realize just how restrained I felt until I got back the control and use of my Spiral Cosmo and Divinity.' 

On the other side, I see Son Goza's figure as he looks at his hands in wonder as he manipulates a small ball of Ki between his hands which makes me realize that he feels the same way I do.

While coming to that conclusion about my opponent, I also immediately noticed that the barrier was still enveloping our bodies which means that even if we were transferred to the Challenge Space the challenge itself didn't officially start yet. 

Shortly after realizing that, I hear the cheerful voice of Culture as it says, [Before the Champions Challenge can officially start, I have to ask both, my Champion and the Champion of Void, if you guys have any preference regarding the battlefield where you are going to fight.] followed by the monotone voice of Void who adds, [There are no limits to the choices available to you. It can be as simple as a single area of a specific planet, or a whole planet with some kind of hellish landscape full of deadly natural traps to even bigger size ones like a solar system with many planets all different from one other, or even to the point where we can create a whole Universe. You guys have complete freedom on your choice, the only actual limit is that the choice must be agreed by both Champions.]

Hearing that, both Son Goza and I look at each other in silence and after a brief nod of acknowledgment, we both lower our heads as we fall in deep thoughts.

I quickly start to think about my options, 'The first thing that came to my mind was to choose to fight in space to take advantage of the fact that a Saiyan can't survive in the void of space... but then I remember that the young man in front of me isn't simply a Saiyan, but is the Champion of Void and it seems very farfetched that he of all the people is unable to survive in the VOID of space, in fact, it wouldn't be surprising if he actually becomes even stronger in such environment. Moreover, if I choose something that is really so disadvantageous for him, he would surely refuse the option. Because of that I also can't propose battlefields with extreme conditions, which I know can easily endure, like a Planet with 1.000 times the gravity of Earth that should surely slow him down if not outright crush him, or in a deep underwater area where he would be unable to breath and also endure the constant pressure.'

After quickly thinking about and discarding all those options, I came up with one single conclusion, 'In the end, it is useless to try to gain an obvious using the environment of the battlefield as my opponent is surely going to refuse if the odds are too much in my favor. My best option is to try to gain some subtle advantages that do not outright put Son Goza at a disadvantage but at most limit some of his abilities or the use of some techniques.'

Shortly after thinking that, I raise my head to look at the still-pondering Son Goza and propose, "What do you think if we keep things simple and easy? I propose that our battlefield is going to be a simple imitation of one of the many variations of the Milky Way Galaxy but without any sentient form of life this way we don't have to worry too much about innocent casualties, some invisible walls, and the lack of space. There is only one little detail that I want to request and that is that the battlefield as a whole is reinforced making it much more resistant than what we are used to so that it doesn't crumble and collapse right away under one of our clashes. We can even start the battle on the Earth of that battlefield so that the environment is somewhat familiar to both of us. What do you say?"

At the same time, I think while hiding the smile on my face, 'This is the best option possible without obviously skewing the odds in my favor. As a whole, the Milky Way Galaxy isn't that big, at least not for me when Tengen Toppa GunCraterGar is much larger in size, which makes it quite easy for me to always be aware of Son Goza's presence using both my Senses and Cosmic Awareness without focusing too much on it which means he can't get away to hide using the Ki Suppressing trick to catch his breath, or even charge a powerful Ki Blast attack. Another not-so-obvious advantage in my favor is that thanks to the "small" size of the Milky Way Galaxy, he won't be able to generate an overwhelmingly powerful Spirit Bomb. I'm not sure if he is even capable of using that technique in the first place as only someone with a completely pure heart can use it which should make it impossible for him to use it during any Super Saiyan transformation, but if for some unknown reason he can, then it won't be too powerful as it will only be able to gather the energy from the "small" Milky Way Galaxy.'

In response to my proposal, Son Goza thinks about it for a few moments before he looks back at me, nods, and says, "It's a good idea. I agree."

As soon as we reach an agreement, our endless plain white surroundings grow hazy and start to change, and shortly after, I feel my feet slightly sink on the soil under the pressure of my weight, and looking down, I see thriving and lively grass quickly growing on the soil turning the area around us in a beautiful meadow.

I feel the light breeze of the wind gently moving my hair and the faint heat of the sun soothingly caressing my skin which makes me look up and see an immense expanse of clear blue marked with pure white clouds watching us from above.

In the blink of an eye, a full, thriving world formed around us and that is just the start as through my Cosmic Awareness, I can clearly feel a whole, complete galaxy springing to life in a mere moment, an enchanting act of pure creation. 

I'm not ashamed to admit that for a moment I lost myself in front of such natural and pure beauty, but soon I refocused myself on the truly important matter, the ongoing Champions Challenge and the start of what is likely going to be my toughest battle yet against the Legendary Super Saiyan Hybrid Son Goza. 

As I focus back on my opponent and prepare my mind and body to act at the first signal and then I take the usual Pankration fighting stance the one most comfortable to me as it is the fighting style I have been using since I was a 5 years old kid.

I face my opponent with a nearly frontal stance, only slightly turned sideways, the left side of the body is slightly forward of the right side of the body and the left hand is more forward than the right one, both hands are held high so that the tips of the fingers are at the level of the hairline or just below the top of the head, and are partially open, the fingers are relaxed, and the palms are facing naturally forward, down, and slightly towards each other.

The front arm is nearly fully extended but not entirely so, the rear arm is more cambered than the front arm, but more extended than a modern-day boxer's rear arm. the back is somewhat rounded, but not as much as a wrestler's would be, the body is only slightly leaning forward, and the weight is virtually all on the back with the right foot, with the front left foot touching the ground with the ball of the foot.

At the same time, I see that he is also doing the same as he is staring at me while taking the iconic Turtle School fighting stance.

He stands with his feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and arms extended forward, his fists are clenched, and his body is slightly angled toward me.

And then, the cheerful voice of Culture and the monotone voice of Void declare in perfect sync, [[The Battlefield is complete. The Champions Challenge can now officially start.]]

[May Culture be with you, my Champion!]

[Go Champion! Show everyone the all-consuming power of Void!]

Immediately after that declaration, I feel the barriers protecting us fade away in an instant and at the same time, Son Goza doesn't hesitate to make his move by quickly launching a volley of Ki Blasts in my direction.

Seeing the glowing, football-sized orbs of energy zooming toward me, I calmly manipulate my Spiral Cosmo to envelope my left hand in a thin layer of energy, like armor, before I casually deflect Son Goza's series of Ki Blasts toward the sky while waiting for my opponent to make his next move.

The reason for that is that this volley of Ki Blasts is a simple and basic distraction tactic as Son Goza moved away shortly after launching it leaving behind an impressive and lifelike afterimage while he is currently approaching me from behind.

As I'm about to deflect the last Ki Blast, I sense Son Goza's figure appearing behind me while swinging his right leg with the clear intent of kicking me on the back of my head perfectly timing his approach and attack, but I calmly deflect the last Ki Blast and at the same time, I lower my head perfectly dodging his kick by an hair breath before I turn my body and counterattack with a spinning elbow aimed at the side of his torso. 

But my elbow strike immediately gets blocked by Son Goza who uses his shin to stop my strike while making sure that his shin impacts with the softer upper arm instead of the much harder and deadly elbow showing his immense fighting experience.

Despite being blocked, the power behind my spinning elbow was still enough to easily blow back Son Goza by a dozen meters, even more so as he was still in mid-air without solid support.

Usually, he would have flow much further but he quickly used his Flight technique to stop his momentum and safely land on the ground. 

I look at my opponent as he once again takes his fighting stance, and with a confident smile on my face, and ask, "So? Did you learn anything from that probing strike?" 

In response, Son Goza nods and replies, "Yes... You react really fast and hit really hard... In addition to that, I can't sense your Ki at all. I feel almost like facing Beerus-sama all over again and that is a quite scary sensation. Because of that, I'm going to kick up the pace of this battle."

Shortly after saying that, his body is enveloped by a bright, green-colored flame-like aura, and at the same time, his body and appearance go through immense change.

First, his hair turns into a bright green color and stands up with no loose strands, the same is true for his eyebrows, his eyes also change as they become yellow, then his body grows in height as his muscle mass greatly increases reaching the towering height of 3 meters and also causing the destruction of the upper part of his clothes that gets shredded as his size grows giving Son Goza a very imposing presence, this is the Legendary Super Saiyan Transformation in all its glory.

Looking at the current state and clear eyes of the transformed Son Goza, I can't help but smile wryly while thinking, 'As expected... he has full control over his transformation.'

Then another small detail catches my attention as I focus on the calm state of our surroundings, 'It seems that the Concepts didn't hold back on reinforcing the battlefield... Our previous probing exchange should have caused quite a bit of destruction, but instead, everything is fine. Moreover, Son Goza is currently unleashing enough power that would usually make the whole world shake quite easily, maybe even start to collapse under its strain, but despite that, our current battlefield is still in a perfectly calm state. Thanks to these small details, I can already calculate that to destroy this version of the Earth we have to consciously attack with around enough power to destroy a galaxy, maybe even more...' 

Shortly after I was thinking that Son Goza once again made his move, this time, he was much faster than before despite his much bigger size, to the point that I had to truly focus to follow his movements.

Soon he is in front of me and without any wasted movements he launches a quick series of attacks.

As I expected, this time his punches and kicks were much more difficult to dodge and hit much harder than before to the point that my body shook each time I was forced to block one of his blows, on top of that, my own strikes are much less effective than before as he is able to easily shrug off attacks that are powerful enough to actually destroy the Earth in a single blow. 

Because of all these factors in addition to his relentless aggression, I quickly found myself forced to be more defensive while slowly retreating as I continued to study his fighting style and get used to his current rhythm. 

Suddenly, Son Goza finds an opening in my defenses and lands a very powerful kick to my stomach, so powerful in fact, that shakes my internal organs and makes me cough out some blood as it sends me flying back toward the nearby woods, but before I can actually crash into the many trees, I use my Spiral Cosmo to stop my momentum and flip in mid-air to regain my bearings.

At the same time, I also use the Dark Resurrection Technique to quickly recover from any damage caused by Son Goza's kick returning to a perfectly healthy state in an instant.

As soon as I have done all that, I immediately focus back on Son Goza and see him placing both his hands above the head with the palms facing in my direction and one hand in front of the other with the fingers going in opposite directions as he gathers an insane amount of Ki. 

Then he thrusts his hands forward and calls out, "Masenko!!" firing a powerful beam of green energy that quickly flies toward me at the speed of light. 

Seeing the approaching energy beam, I don't hesitate to urge my Spiral Cosmo and raise my right arm then as I unleash the Spiral Cosmo I just gathered, I point at the ground in front of me and call out, "Freezing Coffin!" erecting a big block of clear ice at the Absolute Zero right in front of me just before the energy beam impacts against it and explodes rising a massive cloud of smoke while actually destroying the block of ice but dispersing all it power doing so leaving me completely untouched.

Shortly after that, I sense Son Goza build up his Ki once more and hear his voice as he slowly calls out the name of one of the most iconic techniques ever, "Kaaa... meeee..."

Soon the smoke clears away and I see the figure of Son Goza up in the sky in a very recognizable stance with his cupped hands that are drawn to his side and the ever-increasing Ki is concentrated into a single point between his cupped hands, "Haaa... Meeee..."

In response to that, I also unleash the full power of my Spiral Cosmo making a pure gold aura envelope my body while my fist starts shining and a clear blue orb of water-like energy gathers around it.

Then Son Goza's hands are thrust forward as he yells, "HAAAAA!" shooting out a massive, streaming, powerful beam of blue energy toward me. 

At the same time, I yell back, "Tidal Wave Punch!!" shooting the small ball of water-like energy straight toward the massive energy wave with a single punching motion.

In a matter of moments, the two signature techniques clash against one another, and for the first time since this battle has started, our surroundings are actually affected by the clash as the whole world is shaken by the impact, and a few nearby mountains even outright collapse.

Then it seems that the blue energy wave is slowly pushing back my small water-like orb about to the point of overwhelming it. 

But I smirk and do the thing that at this point became a true ritual for me as I announce the start of the real technique by whispering, "...Boom." 

The next moment, from the water-like orb clashing against the massive blue energy wave millions of delayed strong impacts, came one after another which instantly stopped the energy wave advance and slowly but surely the small orb of energy started to push it back with every-increasing power.

In response to that, Son Goza yells even louder and increases the output of his Kamehameha even more in perfect Dragon Ball style in the effort of pushing back my Tidal Wave Punch reaching a state of stall as he continues to match the power as it increases.

At the same time, I can't help but notice the effects that our current clash is having on the planet as it is shaking more and more as unusual calamities are happening all over the place, clear signs that the planet won't be able to endure this kind of clash for much longer.

As the clash between Son Goza's Kamehameha and my Tidal Wave Punch continues to increase in intensity, so do the effects it is having on the planet that in these few moments has already gone through cataclysmic changes as the sky become bright red with lava eruptions, tsunamis, storms, earthquakes, and other natural calamities constantly happening all over the place and growing in intensity, clear signs that the planet won't be able to endure for much longer and it is clearly on the brink of complete destruction.

Then the very last delayed impacts of my Tidal Wave Punch arrive and it is so powerful that it not only completely overwhelms Son Goza's Kamehameha but also completely destroys this planet blowing into countless pieces. 

At the same time, the resulting shockwave is so powerful that it also sends both my opponent and me flying into space while causing me to blank out for a few moments.

I quickly regain my senses a few moments later finding myself floating in space somewhere near Venus, considering how close the Sun actually is, in fact, I am much closer to the Sun than the planet as I feel its gravity trying to pull me in.

The first thing I do is use my Cosmic Awareness to check my opponent's state and location and quickly find him also floating in space but he is somewhere near Jupiter and ignoring some bruises on his body, he is mostly fine only a little disoriented.

Then I check my state and unlike Son Goza, I'm not completely unharmed by the aftermath of the clash between our techniques and the planet explosion as I have got a couple of broken bones, some bruises, and many serious burns, and my left arm and right leg are completely gone.

The reason for my current state is that different from Son Goza who was in mid-air during our clash and so he was simply blown out of the stratosphere crashing against a few asteroids at most on his way, I was standing firmly on the planet's surface and the last shockwave generated by the last delayed impact further amplified by the force of the Kamehameha sent me directly into the ground making me completely pierce through the entire planet as it exploded, and that wasn't a nice experience especially when I pierced through the exploding core of the planet.

I quickly urge my Spiral Cosmo and run the Dark Resurrection Technique and in a few moments, my leg and arm grow back and all the other wounds on my body completely recover bringing me back to a completely healthy status.

After doing that, I let out a sigh while thinking, 'As expected without Crateris my body is much more vulnerable, to the point that even my own technique can actually harm me if I'm not careful... Well, there is also the fact that usually, the Tidal Wave Punch doesn't resolve so close to my position as the target is pushed further back the more impacts it receives. Oh well, with Dark Resurrection such wounds are mostly negligible as I can completely recover as long as I have Spiral Cosmo, and I can produce an infinite amount of Spiral Cosmo as long as my willpower is strong enough.'

Shortly after thinking that, I teleport to Son Goza's location who immediately notices my presence, looks at me, and exclaims, "Even after that explosion you are still completely fine!?" before he focuses once again and declares, "In that case, I can't hold back anymore... It's time to go full power!!"

After saying that, he quickly turns his head, unfolds the brown tail wrapped around his waist, and stares at the nearby planet, Jupiter, more specifically at the 95 moons that orbit around the planet.

As soon as I realize what he is about to do, his Ki spikes tremendously to the point that it even pushes me back as he lets out an animalistic roar, and the next moment, he unleashes a blinding golden aura that forces me to close my eyes for an instant.

When I open my eyes, what greets me is the sight of a completely changed Son Goza which makes me mutter in awe, "Here is it... The coolest Saiyan Transformation... EVER! The Super Saiyan 4!!" 

In this form, Son Goza's hair color returns to his original black and it grows and becomes wilder identically to Goku's and Vegeta's when they went through the same transformation, he also has his bang back.

A red fur appears covering the upper part of his body and the same goes for his tail, on top of that he also possesses a shadow trim around his eyes and over the eyelids of a crimson color. 

More importantly, he also retains the increased size of his Legendary Super Saiyan Transformation which gives him an even more imposing appearance and aura.

The Legendary Super Saiyan 4 Son Goza then stares at me with a very wild gaze and says in a much colder tone compared to before, "Be careful... I'm still somewhat not used to this form and because of that, I'm prone to lose control from time to time... So, if I become too brutal, I apologize in advance."

After saying that, Son Goza rushes toward me at a speed faster than even the speed of light giving me barely any time to react as he appears before me and throws an overwhelmingly powerful series of punches.

Thanks to my experience with such speed, I'm able to defend myself using my arms to block his attacks, but each one of his strikes is so powerful that my bones break under the impact forcing me to constantly use the Dark Resurrection Technique to regenerate them, but this puts me on the back foot even more.

Because of that, my opponent finds another opening in my defense and lands a very powerful punch to my abdomen, so powerful that his fist breaks through my skin and painfully sinks into my stomach making me grunt in pain before he mutters, "It's over..." unleashing a powerful Ki Energy Wave within my body that disintegrates most of my whole body in a matter of a few instants.
