Bastard Homunculus: Reborn in the Corpse Pit

Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Until I Sate That Desire

"Not bad, you actually managed to drive me away from the Captain. Not that it will accomplish anything, you and those other two Commoners will die regardless," Smirked Lexia's opponent.

He was a man in his late thirties, with short, light brown hair, dull black eyes, a dark complexion with a scruffy face and a nimble build, being a bit on the shorter side.

"Ellis Garnet, First-Class Knight of the Third Squad, and the first son of the Viscountess Stagra Garnet, our target...you're a Lightning Mage and a Martial Artist, and unlike those other two, you rose to your position through your own ability and skill instead of relying on nepotism. But you're also a piece of shit who's raped countless Commoner women," Remarked Lexia, a dark look in her eyes as she narrowed her gaze at him with an ice cold glare.

"I see you Commoners have done your research on us. But I should correct that misconception, I never raped anyone...if anything, those women should have felt honored that someone like me would be so gracious as to bestow my seed unto them."

"Ew...ew, ew, ew! Who the fuck talks like that!? You vile fucking bastard," Spat Lexia in disgust.

"Hm...now that I get a better look at you, I must say, you're quite easy on the eyes. A cute face, pretty hair, an attractive figure and, mm, those voluptuous yet perky breasts," Smirked Ellis as he lustfully scanned her body up and down, before adding, "I have a proposal for you...instead of dying here, why not serve me as my slave? Surrender and agree to put on an Enslavement Collar, do that and I'll make sure that you aren't executed. And I'll make sure to take very good care of you, I'll pay extra special attention to every inch of your luscious body and-..."

"Yeah, no, I would literally rather die," Lexia interrupted him as she shot forward, forming bone daggers in both hands and flinging one straight at his face.

He swiftly deflected the incoming projectile by striking the side of it with the back of his hand, before springing back as Lexia closed in on him and slashed at his knees with her other dagger.

"My, how defiant...I see that I'll have to thoroughly train you, in both body and mind," He replied with a lick of his lips, as he then leapt forward as he raised his right leg up high, swinging it down rapidly towards the top of her head.

Lexia quickly crossed her arms above herself defensively, grimacing as Ellis's foot slammed onto her arms with a jarring impact, before she gritted her teeth and extended out several bone spikes from her forearms, eliciting a stifled cry of pain from her opponent as he quickly pulled his leg back before the spikes could burrow too deeply into his foot, his eyes widening in alarm as Lexia swiftly pointed her elbow at him and rapidly extended out a narrow, sharp bone spike straight at his crotch, grazing his right inner thigh as he twisted his body across just enough to keep his family jewels from getting skewered.

He then shot towards her again as he coated his hands in lightning, driving his right hand towards her head as he closed in. She quickly tilted her head across, narrowly evading the attack before she formed a bone blade and whipped it across at his legs.

He sprang back right in the nick of time, a couple of shallow cuts appearing across the front of his calves, before he backed away a few paces.

"You're light on your feet, I'll give you that, at least," Remarked Lexia, before thinking to herself with a slight grimace, "Damn it, that kick really messed up my forearms, I think the bones in my right arm are fractured. Well, not that it matters, I can just create new weapons with the damaged bones and then replace them with fresh ones. Still, it really pisses me off that such a disgusting piece of shit managed to injure me."

"Wh-what the hell is with these low attacks, it's like I'm fighting an animal!" He snapped, as trickles of blood ran down his legs.

"This isn't how I normally fight, but right now, I just have this burning desire to cut your rotten dick off...and I won't be satisfied until I sate that desire," Responded Lexia in a low, ominous voice, a dark, murderous look of bloodlust in her eyes, causing her opponent to flinch slightly as he felt an instinctive fear creep up on him.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the city...

"I have you now, it ends here, Commoner!"

As Zilk closed in on Aster and drove his spear towards his heart, Aster swiftly unleashed a telekinetic shockwave, knocking Zilk back a few meters before the spear could reach him.

"That probably would've been more effective if you didn't yell, you know," Smirked Aster, as his eyes slowly opened back up, before adding, "That was pretty close though...guess I still need to get stronger. My line of sight is all spotty, looks like it'll take a bit longer before my vision fully clears up."

"Damn you, how...how the hell is this possible? You cocky bastard...a Commoner who can actually keep up with a Captain is so arrogant as to think he can get even stronger?" Growled Zilk spitefully.

"That's a pretty stupid point of view...there's always room for improvement, something that you should definitely take to heart. Like I said before, you're not on the same level as the other Captains, you'd be a Vice-Captain at best if it wasn't for the influence of your father. Go on, tell me I'm wrong," Taunted Aster, flipping him off with a warm smile.

Zilk with silent for a moment, before gritting his teeth with a venomous glare as he clenched his fists, a gust of wind blowing across the area as he suddenly unleashed his Aura with an enraged yell...

"I will not stand for this! You're nothing but a lowly Commoner, you were beneath me from the day you were born! You're nothing...you're absolutely nothing, I'll kill you! You dare insult me!? I am a member of the great Noble House of Plore, next in line to be the head of my family! And I will not stand for this any longer! Face my greatest Spell and disappear into nothingness, Commoner scum...now, [Light Cannon]!"

A massive beam of light erupted from his hands and barreled towards Aster with immense force, the beam carving a path along the ground, too wide and too fast to evade.

It engulfed Aster in the blink of an eye, before barreling forward and hitting a building behind him, drilling through the wall and bursting in, screams of alarm and pain ringing out from inside the building, the glass on the window shattering and raining down onto the ground below, a thick cloud of dust rising up as the beam petered out and dissipated.

"Haha...hahaha...HAHAHAHA!!! How do you like that, Commoner!? Oh, wait, you can't hear me, you're dead! Hahahaha, you get what you deserve, you were nothing in the face of my full power, now rot in hell-...!" Zilk cackled gleefully, before trailing off in disbelief as the dust began to clear, blurting out with a dumbfounded stutter, "...h-huh?"

"That wasn't half-bad...the Level 3 Light Magic Spell, Light Cannon. I was hoping I'd be able to defeat you without resorting to my trump card, but I guess I'm not strong enough to pull that off yet," Remarked Aster, not so much as a speck of dust on him, the ground around him carved out by the Light Cannon Spell, except for a small patch; the part of the ground within a one meter radius of Aster's body was completely undamaged.

"N-no, impossible...how? H-how the hell are you still alive!?"

"Like I said, my trump card. And now that I've unveiled it, this fight is over. Time to die, Captain of the Third Squad," Declared Aster, as he took a step forward...
