Where is my position in Star’s Flow?

I quickly realized that this concern wasn’t a big deal at all.

The other members told me I’m still a second-year member, and Hibana, who leads the fourth-year Phantasm, also said that’s correct.

But right now, even they… and even the Star’s Flow operations department couldn’t give me a definitive answer.

In two weeks, on July 10th and 11th.

Other second-year members will celebrate their 6th anniversary.

So, am I celebrating my 6th anniversary or my 3rd?

The Neitern community has been buzzing about this topic for over a week now.

Even if the other second-year members argue that returning after graduation counts as 6 years, there are those who claim it should be 3 years instead.

Both sides use the same reasoning, but somehow the conclusions are completely opposite.

And what’s more problematic is that both arguments sound pretty convincing.

Usually, the most common event for anniversaries is a live performance, but this year, all the second-year members decided not to hold one.

The reason? It was because of me.

Although I understand their intent, Star’s Flow didn’t approve any live performances, judging that doing two consecutive lives right after my re-debut could be too much for me.

I really wanted to do it….

Of course, the other second-year members received approval for their live performances.

However, the anniversary live is a bit of a special event amongst second-year members, and so we all canceled our live shows.

The reason?

While other generations have different debut dates and can hold personal lives without overlapping schedules,

We all debuted on the first day with Suzuha, Nekoto, and Ayaka. The second day had me and Yukari debuting, causing our schedules to overlap no matter how we plan it.

So, for our first anniversary, we held consecutive live shows over two days.

However, it was pointed out that this was a challenging schedule for fans, and Suzuha suggested holding a joint live for the second anniversary.

The resulting joint live was greatly praised. Many fans loved feeling the connection between the second-year members, and plenty of fans began to support us.

Thus, the second-year members decided to hold joint lives for their anniversaries.

But now, with my re-debut, they planned the anniversary live without me?

There’s no way that wouldn’t raise eyebrows.

Plus, Nekoto declared, “If one of us is absent from the joint live, I won’t attend either!” And all the other members agreed, so this year’s second-year anniversary joint live was canceled.

…It’s so unfair.

I actually wanted to do the joint live.

But I couldn’t entirely argue against the company’s judgment that it could be too demanding, so I had no words to say.

So for this 6th anniversary… we decided to do individual broadcasts.

Those who wanted to do regular solo streams could, while those with special ideas could do planned broadcasts.

And I wanted to choose.

“For this anniversary broadcast, I want to do a Hinami off-collab…”

Actually, Kaguya suggested we gather with the Atlas members, and Rinze and Hibana asked to play games together, but…

This time, I wanted to hang out with Natsune and Kurokami-senpai.

Of course, it wasn’t completely devoid of opportunities for the three of us to meet after graduation.

But our difficult schedules meant we rarely managed to hang out, even though we were popular with fans, and since my graduation, those chances became even fewer.

I was busy finding my dreams, Natsune was overwhelmed with increasing responsibilities as Star’s Flow grew, and Kurokami-senpai had her family circumstances making it hard to find time.

Before, we would make excuses to meet, saying we needed to broadcast together, but after my graduation, even that was difficult.

I really missed the times we could all gather and have fun together, so one of my biggest anticipations right after re-debut was doing a Hinami collab.

Honestly, I personally think 3rd is more accurate, but…

I hope Izumi will say we’re all celebrating together as second years on the 6th anniversary.

Even though it was a re-debut after graduation, I’ve always considered second years to be five members, including Izumi.

When Suzuha and Yukari said that, and Nekoto and Ayaka agreed, well… what could I do?

Natsune and Kurokami-senpai came to my house for the Hinami off-collab, and we started by eating the cake Kurokami-senpai brought before we began the broadcast.

I heard it was made personally by Saori, auntie who works at Kurokami-senpai’s home.

Not to exaggerate, but it was genuinely mind-blowingly tasty.

The soft cake seemed to melt away in my mouth, with the sweet cream being not overly rich at all.

And to top it all off were the sweet and tangy strawberries and cherries.

Is this truly the masterpiece of shortcake…?

As I felt moved by such flavors, just as I was about to grab a second piece of shortcake, Kurokami-senpai suddenly brought something up.

“Oh, seeing the cherry stem reminds me, apparently there’s someone who can tie the cherry stems with their tongue.”

“Oh, I feel like I’ve heard that somewhere.”

“Me too….”

What was it? It seems like I saw it in a manga once in a while…

“Then should we try it too?”

“…Yeah. That sounds fun!”

And so began the sudden cherry stem-tying contest with our tongues.

The winner was none other than….

And Natsune and Hikari couldn’t take their eyes off Izumi.

Izumi, tilting her head as she chewed on the cherry stem… Quite frankly, it seemed oddly suggestive.

This made Hikari question if she had suggested something strange, and as a result, only Izumi was wholly focused on this contest.

Around two minutes passed, and of course, Izumi, who was fully focused, succeeded in tying the cherry stem first.

And then.

Izumi sticking out her tongue to show the tied cherry stem caused Natsune and Hikari’s faces to turn beet red in an instant.

“Eh? You two haven’t done it yet? Then I guess I’ve won. Hehe….”

Izumi, in sheer delight over her victory, stuck out her tongue once more to showcase the tied cherry stem.

Her beaming smile made it all the more hammering for Natsune and Hikari.

“Banned! From now on, Izumi, that’s prohibited! You are absolutely! Definitely not allowed to do that! Understand?Answer me!”

“Eh? Huh? Oh…?”

“Yep. I agree with Shiro. From now on, cherry stems should just be thrown away. Absolutely.”

“Huh?”

Strangely, even though Hikari was the first to suggest this contest, despite winning,

“Really, where did Izumi get that idea…?”

“Yeah… You, you have to repent, Izumi.”

“Why?!”

And thus, Izumi was thoroughly scolded by the two.
