Chapter 13: EPISODE TWELVE: TWO BESTIES
Griz's POV
Barbiee narrated the whole story to me and I was touched her effort to take me out of my shell. We drove happily as we listened to APT by Rose.
The next day at school, I felt like I was in a different world.
I actually dressed up a little though. "Griz! You look fire!". A lot of students yelled.
The moment I stepped into the class, everyone clapped. "Yo! Griz your art was sick!". Dan yelled and everyone smiled.
I reciprocated their smiles and moved to my seat. "Barbiee what's going on?". I asked.
"What do you mean what's going on. You are a star now and you look so good by the way". Barbiee said and smiled.
After two periods, it was lunch time. Barbiee and I moved into the cafeteria.
"Isn't that ugl... Griz I mean. She's the talented artist. She looks beautiful today". One of the students said and Barbiee and I giggled.
"Over here you two!". Chloe yelled and waved.
"You are never gonna get tired of doing this stuff are you?". I asked and she laughed.
"Never. Guys let me introduce you to this wonderful artist here. Griselda Willows!". Chloe said and they all laughed.
"I'm proud of you Griz". Greg told me and smiled. He looks so handsome today.
The rest of them, Amelia and Rachel, patted me at my back.
"Wait I'm still your bestie, right?". Chloe asked and I spit the water I had sipped earlier out of my mouth.
"Sure, but you'll have to give room for one more person". I told her.
"Me. I hope you are not mad Chloe". Barbiee quickly chipped in.
"Why would I be. We click well together and you bring out the best in her. Cheers to a new Griselda Willow the ex-ugly duckling". Chloe said as she raised her juice can up and clicked it to our various liquid cans.
"I can't believe this". Nikki said as she passed with her girls interrupting our laughter.
"Some people just never learn". Barbiee said and shook her head.
"Indeed". Chloe concurred and we resumed our discussion.
After school, we all got into Barbiee's car and sang APT by Rose as we drove to have fun at the spring hotel.
This is my life now, The life of Griselda Willow. Ever since I turned sixteen, I realized the reason I was bullied and overcame this hurdle with the help of my best friend, Barbiee Roberts.
THE END.
